Chapter 33: Having Fun!.....Or Atleast Trying To.
Entering the purple and gold colored building sticks out compared to the other building with its shining sign of diamond symbol bring all the attention to it. 'Holy shit. Its fucking huge! I expected it to be bigger since its disporportionate in the games but damn! Is this how casino's in Vegas look?'
The Goldenrod Game Corner is in simple words huge, it looks at least 80,000 square feet along with another smaller building next it. This building is clearly an extension of the Casino with it having the same Diamond symbol as their sign.
"Wow!" A light shines in Amelia's eyes as she see's the large casino. Looking at the look of wonder on her face I'm confused. 'isn't she like 19? Gambling isn't until your 21. Though I guess it could be different here?'
'It was not different.' After Amelia tried to get in she was swiftly rejected. 'I suppose makes me respect the casino's more but that's neither here nor there.' Leaving the Casino's vicinity with the bouncer and his partner exeggcute looking at Amelia with a watchful eye or eyes.
"All I wanted to do was the Voltorb Flip!" Amelia cries out in a whiny voice. Looking at her with a side eye I walk faster and towards the darker side of the city. "Wait!"
'Everytime I'm in the presence of her idiocy I get lose more and more faith in humanity.' Sighing as she catches up to me I walk her towards one of the cheaper hotels in the city as the Pokemon Center probably won't have any rooms open this late at night.
Moving towards the part of the city more entwined with nature I use the cover of night to hide my shroud book that I look at for directions. As I do so I feel a almost unnatural breeze blow past me, it both to forceful and to cold for the current weather.
I do a quick look around seeing Amelia still behind me before continuing. 'If I was stupid I would investigate that but unfortunately I'm too tired for that shit.' Giving the ari itself a slight glare in suspicion before turning around and continuing to lead Amelia.
Thankfully the breeze doesn't persist and after 10 or so minutes of questioning from Amelia about where we're going we reach the hotel and she thankfully takes care of getting a room without any problems since she basically threw money at them to get them to stop complaining about, 'how late it is to reserve a room for a week.'
While she's throwing some money around I jump up and tap my Pokeball on her belt, heading off to Pokeball induced sleep.

.
'I don't like I've ever said this but sleeping in a Pokeball is so uncomfortable, I mean I guess I should've expected that being turned into a sort of portable energy isn't the best for when you want to sleep. But still it sucks!'
Mental complaining in my head as both me and Amelia walk down a large street looking for the first thing to eat. Although Amelia isn't a morning person they're way more excited due to it being a new place and is practically skipping down the street.
'God she's more of a dog than I am. Though I suppose I'm more like a fox or cat than anything else.' Amelia gasps as she points over to a particular restaurant or cafe? Looking at the signs I of course can't read it to save my life but I see a mascot in a Furret suit.
"Kage! This is it the fabled cafe! This is one of the main attractions of Goldenrod City!" Amelia starts to make her way towards the cafe picking me up and dragging me with her. 'If this is a main attraction doesn't that mean reservations would be required?' I try to say this at Amelia but as usual only a couple yip's and "Vee's" come out.
'Sometimes I right to often.' Amelia is currently sadly walking away from the busy cafe while petting me on the head using me as a mood booster. 'I'm still starving, though.'
While she's carrying me she passes multiple restaurants that seem good to me. Yipping at her to knock her out off the monologue on how her misfortune will plague her bloodline of something. "What? Can't you see my blood line is ruined this day will be recorded as the saddest day in history!"
Giving her an 'are you do look' I turn my head over to a small restaurant across the road. "Oh. You've saved my bloodline!"
'God. Can I choose another trainer. Anyone else please!'
