Pokemon The Mirage Of Illusions

On cue Amelia starts rushing into the house while reaching for her pockets and balling both Doku and Jarl. "Come on help me pack!" Yelling towards me as she goes through the sliding door into the house. 'I should've expected this she follows so many protagonist tropes its not even funny.'

Currently I'm on a plane heading off to the Johto region. The rest of Amelia's Pokemon are being held in a compartment but I'm enjoying myself in first class with my very own seat.

'You know, having a rich cousin must be nice. I mean who else pays out for the entire of first class just of one person?' Sitting in one of the many free seats in first class I'm in my Eevee form of course getting tended to by Amelia who's finally brushing my fur into place.

'I could do it myself but this just feels so much nicer, plus I'm in a good mood even if my fragile ego is at stake.' Relaxing I let Amelia pet and scratch me to her hearts content. "It's wild to think that we're already starting our first journey, I mean I haven't had you for to long at least compared to Doku and Jarl but you've definitely made yourself known."

Shaking my head slightly in response let her rattle off. "I've just been training and preparing for this for a long time so I gotta do it right! So please help me, lets do it together and after we become the strongest in the world we can go on as many adventures as we want!"

Chuckling internally at her monologue I make a happy "Vee" while wagging my tail. 'She's so weird she reminds me of an old protagonist from a anime. Kinda like Ash in a way but less annoying and a better trainer at least until he becomes his Kalos league self.'

After around 10 minutes of comfortable silence I slowly let myself fall asleep as the boredom of the plane ride gets to me. Though before I do I look up and see that Amelia already beat me to it. 'Heh.'

Letting myself sleep I to enter my own sleep land, but as usual I don't dream.

Getting out of the airport I stretch my legs once again and shake the sleep out of my eyes, as I do so Amelia yawns and stretches next to me as well. "Are you ready Kage?"

Cringing at the name I nod all the same as both Amelia and I take our first steps into Goldenrod City. "Wasn't something special supposed to happen?" 

Looking at Amelia in a deadpan in my mind I'm speaking out loud but the only thing that comes out is "Vee!"

'What'd you expect? A future lover intrest to pop out of nowhere who happens to be your semi-forgotten crush from your childhood? Or maybe a interesting or special Pokemon to bounce over to you and for it to be famously difficult to befriend just for you to do it over the course of a couple episodes? Your not Ash!' Shaking my head I start to walk past her.

"Wait!" walking next to me re take our time to sight see the city though its more like I'm dragging her around since she has no idea where anything is and I'm the only one who actually looked at a map when I heard that we were coming here.

While I'm walking around I take note of the differences of the city. 'Goldenrod is of course way bigger here than it ever was in the games, I mean it looked like it could house a couple thousand people at least probably closer to 10-20 thousand. I suppose that's low cosidering its a major city in Johto but from what I understand this planet is huge.

I mean even region can be considered its own continent. Like Kanto and Johto are their own continents, Hoenn and Orre are their own continent, Sinnoh is by itself but its got a shit ton of unused land, Unova is actually the biggest region, and Kalos, Paldea, and Galar are all together plus the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra.'

"Hold on Kage! lets go to the Game Corner! Caitlin gave us some money to play with!" Sighing and following the girl I bask in the jealousy of not having that level of capital.
