"Yanna?" Vanessa asked, her voice filled with concern.

Vanessa looked at Yanna, who appeared to be hesitating. Vanessa lowered her gaze, then reached out to hold Yanna's hand.

"Yanna, if there's something you need to tell me, just say it. If there's something important I need to know, please let me know. We're married, but I always feel like there's something between us. No matter how close you are to me, I can't shake off this feeling," Vanessa said, gripping Yanna's hand tighter and looking into her eyes with worry.

Yanna took a deep breath and bit her lower lip. "Vanessa, I don't know where to start. I didn't realize I was affecting you this much, but I'm scared. If I tell you something unbelievable, will you believe me or think I'm crazy? I... I don't want you to leave me," she said slowly.

Vanessa tightened her hold on Yanna's hand and gently caressed her face with her other hand. "Believe in me, Yanna. Nothing is more important to me than you. I just don't want to be left in the dark, or else I'll always worry about something I don't know."

Yanna closed her eyes, taking comfort in Vanessa's warmth, then she smiled. "Okay. Then listen carefully, okay?"

Vanessa nodded in response.

She continued, "I was an actress in that world too, and just like here, I didn't have a family. I worked non-stop until I reached the peak of my career, and then an accident happened. I died in that world, and when I woke up, I was the Yanna of this world. But this world is different from my world. This is a world inside a novel. At first, I was lost, but then I thought I could start a new life here. I wanted to take everything easy, but somehow, maybe by fate, I met the protagonist a little earlier than expected."

Vanessa quickly absorbed Yanna's words. "Protagonist? Is it... me?"

"Yes, you're the heroine of this world, and Oliver is the male protagonist," Yanna confirmed.

Vanessa was stunned to learn that Oliver was the male protagonist. "You mean, he and I are meant to be together?"

"Yes, if the story hadn't changed or maybe if we hadn't met... Are you angry?" Yanna asked, her voice laced with nervousness.

"Did you purposely approach me?" Vanessa asked, her voice steady.

"No, I actually planned to distance myself from you or just be friends. After all, I liked you even when I was just reading the book. I didn't want you to end up with that scumbag and suffer injustice," Yanna said earnestly.

Vanessa forced herself not to smile and maintained a poker face. "So this is the reason why you know the others so well?"

"Don't get me wrong, I planned to live a normal life and enjoy my second life. But when I realized I had fallen in love with you, I also realized that this is my real world now. Everyone here exists and breathes. That's when I thought about changing your fates. Fiona, Melody, Mirayuki, and you, you were all meant to be part of Oliver's harem."

Vanessa's expression was complicated, she couldn't imagine herself with Oliver, let alone Fiona, Melody, or even Mirayuki. Then a question came to her and she looked seriously at Yanna. "You said you came from a different world, then what's your real name? Also... Did you have a lover there?"

"Will you go back there?"
