Chapter 177: War is inevitable

I arrive on the battlefield, taking in the scene. Everyone is here, both sides preparing for battle. From my side, there is only one being, one lone figure standing apart, the crazy one.

"It's him."

"He finally came."

Dokkaebi appear, many great Dokkaebi manifest, their presence ominous. I wait for the signal to begin the battle royale, until the horn of war sounds.

I gather all my power to its maximum output. Now, it's time to enter Fierce Deity Mode.

Fierce Deity manifests his overwhelming might, dashing toward the battlefield with just one kick against the ground. The entire land is instantly destroyed, crumbling under the force of his step. Fierce Deity gives no chance for anyone in his path to recover from the sheer impact.

He grabs one Incarnation, his target, and slams his body repeatedly until the figure is unconscious. The battlefield becomes a chaotic mess as Fierce Deity takes full advantage of the destroyed arena. Using his Domain Expansion, all the debris in the ruined area levitates, forming jagged, solid platforms and terrain.

Fierce Deity charges his energy further, his fingers shaping into a massive, glowing spear. With a single slash, he rips through reality itself, leaving a devastating trail of destruction in his wake, nothing remains in its path but annihilation.

His goal is simple: end this fight quickly, before the Constellations can intervene.

"SURRENDER." His voice is absolute, a single command. No Incarnation dares to disobey. The fight is already over the moment Fierce Deity enters the fray.

All the Incarnations surrender, but the war is far from over. Fierce Deity glares at the Dokkaebi, his gaze sending chills of pure fear into their hearts. For the first time, the Dokkaebi experience actual terror, the fear of death itself.

"I challenge all Constellations to a death match."

"WHAT?"

"DO IT."

I release an aura of bloodlust, strong enough to turn this entire reincarnation island into a landscape of calamity. I do not care how benevolent or powerful beings here may be. I am a monster, compassion is temporary, not obligatory.

"Any Constellation want to join the death match?" Satan appears, taking this moment to unleash his devilish rhetoric.

"Oh my, what a change of events. This would make the probability even greater. Do you think, Constellations, that you can stand in front of this being, this Fierce Deity? A mortal transcended into a god of anomalistic nature, no longer human nor benevolent, but a monster, one solely defined by his urge to fight. He doesn't care if you're omnipotent beings hidden in nebulae or supposed paragons of virtue. Are you afraid because you fear defeat? A shame. A coward's retreat.

You make yourselves laughable by hiding behind the luxury of star streams. Your stories, your myths, they're meaningless. They have no weight, no purpose, no value here. Rise up from your comforts, Constellations. Fight him to the death. All is fair in battle as long as you win. Fight with all you have.

If you can defeat the King of the Apocalypse, the End Bringer, then nothing can stop you. Death? The void? Oblivion? Nothing. Prove to us you can stand against him. Or forever be declared a laughing stock—a parasite who depends on nothing but the stars."

'Alright, Satan. You're pouring salt into an already deep wound here.'

'Sshh. I like this. Power up more, V. I bet all my coins that you'll win this war.'

'Win against who?'

'Oldest Dream.'

'Fair.'

I boost my power further, pushing it through Deification to its maximum level. The moment I elevate my strength, the very island trembles beneath me. Reality itself begins to twist and collapse worlds begin to shatter one by one. This is it the final boss, the last battle, the ultimate showdown.

"COME ON!" Fierce Deity's power explodes even further. The Primordial Elements roar fire, life, and the first essence of creation itself, gathering within me. This power is beyond comprehension, more primal, more ancient, and more absolute than I ever imagined.

The sheer intensity of energy from Fierce Deity sends ripples across Tartarus, Murim, the edges of every planet, realm, and beyond. The power is so overwhelming that it causes even the most steadfast beings to tremble in instinctual fear. Their bodies are warning them: NO, don't go, you will die.

Satan rallies the others to join, but seven minutes have already passed. He declares a countdown to signal annihilation.

"10..." The voice echoes through the fabric of creation itself, resonating in every corner of this novel universe. It's a countdown to total destruction.

"9..." I power up further, striving to push all my Stigma to 18 digits. I refrain from powering up my skills until the Constellations join.

"8..." Constellations from the Nebulae, Historical Grade, Narrative Grade, and Demonic beings are merely observing my power. They're roaring, hungry, and waiting for a signal from their masters, each of them gripped by the realization that the situation is unwinnable. For me, this is merely a small exertion.

"7..." All Incarnations are observing my power in awe and terror. These abilities, so deeply honed through trials, are regal and terrifyingly insane. I trained these powers to their limits and now they respond fully to my call.

"6..." A bell rings in the distance, the sound of annihilation. Every ring is a final countdown, each one drawing closer to destruction.

"5..." I sit in a meditative posture, focusing on my breathing. I exhale deeply, and as I inhale, my Stigma reaches the bottleneck of 20 digits. I can feel the threshold, yet I know I need to push further. However, my Limit Breaker also stands at 20 digits, presenting a challenge.

'What happened?'

'You forgot about Tier?'

'Apologies for my oversight... I should have stopped sooner.'

"4..." Satan's voice takes on an artistic, almost eerie quality, reminiscent of Jhin from League of Legends. His words and tone create an ominous atmosphere as I prepare for the coming storm. My weapon calls out to me, their essence straining under the weight of my power. They yearn to prove themselves, to match their master's growing strength.

"3..." I stand and stretch my newly adaptive body, growing accustomed to the changes. My arche-body and uni-mind have shifted into new levels of power.

Arche Body Lv. 501 > 99,999,999,999,999,999,999

Uni-mind Lv. 501 > 99,999,999,999,999,999,999

I can feel it. My body has transformed into something completely different, more handsome, more carved, and far more beautiful than my previous Arche-body. I can feel the divine presence in every fiber of my being.

"2..." I remove my helmet, revealing my true face and beauty to all. My body is a towering, robust figure, muscles sculpted by divine will, skin purer than the stars, and features more angelic and beautiful than should even be possible. My white hair spikes in a way reminiscent of Super Saiyan 3 Goku. My face carries the innocence of a baby, yet my physique is striking, powerful, and undeniably sexy. Satan whistles and clears his throat.

"1..." The final call. This is it, the last moment of the countdown. I taunt them by showing my middle finger.

"pussy."

One last act of mockery, one final insult. I should probably strive to be better next time, I think, but the moment passes.

"0..." The countdown ends.

The battle is over, at least for now. It's somewhat anti-climactic, but it doesn't bother me. I am simply too powerful. This realization settles over me, and I know: I need adjustment.

I need a new difficulty, a change of strategy. Perhaps it's time to build a sorcerer instead of a warrior, to harness magic and mystical power rather than brute strength.

Time to reverse time.

"I need to regress. But first, Tier."

"Aiyo."

[Tier System unlocked in user personal Poise. This system will multiply the stats capability based on how many Tiers you have.]

I see an interface similar to God of War's upgrade system. There is a description.

I nod and tap the Tier button. All the stats numbers are reduced, and I obtain a new form in the skeletal interface.

[Current Tier is 1: User stats capability multiplied by 1.5.]

Overall Stats T(1):

[Vigor Lv. 20 (30)][Attunement Lv. 20 (30)][Endurance Lv. 20 (30)][Vitality Lv. 20 (30)][Strength Lv. 20 (30)][Dexterity Lv. 20 (30)][Intelligence Lv. 20 (30)][Faith Lv. 20 (30)][Luck Lv. 20 (30)][Divinity Lv. 20 (30)]

Great. So I can break the boundary of my stats limit of 20, but I need better training and knowledge for it.

"Let's regress."

"Are you sure? Do you want to know what this story ends with?"

"Alright, we viewers now."

I fly toward the Gourmet Association, where all constellations are gathered. When I crash their meeting place, I simply walk between them without interacting with anyone. I sit down and use the privilege Satan gave me.

[Constellation "God Of Apocalypse" Has joined Star Stream. Due to exclusive privilege, Constellation "God Of Apocalypse" cannot be added to the Constellation roster once all incarnations and constellations reach a conclusion or Scenario 100.]

Anomaly Detected...

Constellation "God Of Apocalypse" grants all incarnations and constellations the ability to skip Scenario 99 (Gog and Magog).

Constellation "God Of Apocalypse" grants all incarnations and constellations the ability to skip Scenario 90 (Trihexa, the Dragon from the Book of Revelation).

Constellation "God Of Apocalypse" grants all incarnations and constellations the ability to skip Scenario 95 (Divus, the False Messiah that brings doom to all).

Constellation "God of Apocalypse" broadcasts an announcement:

"Is this on? Admin, is this announcement on? Oh, yeah, this is on. Well, reach the last scenario and let those fur balls grant you a wish. And fun fact: I have no interest in adding you to be my incarnation. Do your worst and best to reach Scenario 98 and 100. May luck be with you."

The broadcast ends. I sit down and observe all incarnations simultaneously. I watch them engage in Scenario 81, which is the ancient war between angels and demons.

I am entertained, as they aren't fighting me. Some constellations seem worried about my presence, and somehow, an Outer God appears. I wave at them, and they join me, sitting in casual observation without a single concern.

Due to my affinity for eldritch skills, I can identify these eldritch entities more easily.

These eldritch entities are essentially manifestations of Dokja's intrusive thoughts or Oldest Dream's memories. Despite my vow of silence having been completed, my voice is now inexplicably beautiful and charming, even with my fierce appearance.

I am using the fable I Have No Enemy, which allows me to control chaotic beings and befriend them with ease. In this way, peace is always an option, even in the midst of war and chaos.

So we observe the incarnations' story without fighting. When they reach the location of their supposed confrontation with Trihexa, they skip, and so on, all the way to Scenario 100, where everyone eventually becomes constellations.

When they meet the Dokkaebi King, the king's gaze immediately locks onto me, even as I lounge casually with the eldritch entities.

Due to my anomaly, the star stream should have been destroyed by Trihexa's tail flick, and many constellations should have died. However, many of them survive.

Dokkaebi King offers The Ark, a special vessel designed to transport select individuals to new worldlines. The Dokkaebi King chooses me as Noah, The Ark's first occupant.

I smile and look at Dokkaebi King.

"I stay."

Dokkaebi's smile shifts into something amused.

"What?"

"Yes, I stay. You want to search for stories and fables, but there's an idiom: even after the end, there is a new beginning. The Ark has the power to create new stories and new endings. I'd rather choose my own fate than play your game. I stay, and you go."

"Interesting... This timeline will be void, and you will die in the void."

"Let's see about that."

I use my trump card.

[Son of Nothingness Fable Manifesting]

My body is enveloped in magenta and dark energy. I fold my arms and look at them.

"I'm the Son of Nothingness. Born from nothing, and true nothingness is my father. Void is merely a partial power of my father. Even if this world becomes void, that is my home, and all your stories become empty bookshelves. I prefer that way. Now, before I wipe everything here from existence, including you star streams, please leave."

"But you can stay with us?"

"No. I can't. Even if I stayed with you, I would become nothing. This fable is the reason."

[Absolute Fable: "I Was Born To Be No One" decided the incarnation's fate.]

"See? I am nobody. Even if you find a new worldline, you won't know me. You cannot bargain because of the Absolute nature of story. Not even Dokkaebi King could change that."

The Ark shimmers as everyone waves goodbye to me. I sigh, staying in this void timeline—nothing but darkness.

"Is it the end?"

"Yeah... calm and enjoyable."

"Why did you choose to stay?"

"Because why not? You should keep dreaming, kid. Don't worry about your uncle here. Just continue your story."

"Very well."

After Dokja's intrusive thoughts visited me, I obtained one new fable:

[Absolute Fable: 'Stay in the darkness so everyone gains happiness' obtained.]

"Another Evil Fable... am I destined to always be the bad guy?"

"That is subjective. Everyone can choose who they want to be," Satan appears beside me, bringing good wine.

"So, where is G?"

"Right beside you."

I jump out of my skin as God appears out of nowhere.

"You scared my five hearts at the same time. So, what's the conclusion?"

"How about you?"

I think for a moment and nod.

"I need a little adjustment."

"I see. Then let's go to the next chapter."

"Fourth-wall-breaking. Very well. Time to regress"
