White Tiger

A week and half had passed since their encounter with the Pirates ambush, Vegapunk along with Kimimaro besides him stood at the bow of the ship looking at the distance which Karakuri island located. 

In a distance there was a winter climate island covered in white, mountains stood at the center of the island giving a majestic vibe if not for two giant bolts made of unknown material lodged firmly on either side of the the tallest mountain. 

"Your hometown look quite, peculiar Doctor. Especially those mountain." Kimimaro spoke gently. 

Vegapunk chuckled not feeling embarassed for a bit, "ah, it was just the remains of my past experiment. Don't mind it." 

Kimimaro pondered for a bit before speaking,

"Looking at its angle and your way of positioning the bolt, it seems to me that you were attempting to change a certain value of molecular density around the island sky." 

Vegapunk eyes turned wide open with sparks of interest locking his gaze towards Kimimaro who put his hand on his chin seemingly deep in thought. 

Kimimaro didn't disappoint as he locked his gaze toward The excited doctor,

"...don't tell me you attempted to manipulate your home island climate?" 

"EUREKA!" 

Vegapunk jumped as he clapped excitedly, 

"..Hahaha, indeed Kimi my man! And you can tell that only by a single glance?" 

Kimimaro shrugged his shoulder, "well it was quite obvious by which your island condition is." 

Indeed, Karakuri island belongs to Winter island category. Due to strange magnetic wave spreading unevenly in Grandline, the weather could be dramatically varied between the island inside the notorious route. 

there could be some island with desert climate neighboring an island with rainy climate. Another island weather was harsh like a perpetual lightning falling on it while the other has the sky raining candies on them. 

In short, Grandline Island was a sigh to wonder to those who witnessed it. 

"Karakuri was always a winter island to begin with, the people living inside it was quite accustomed by the harsh weather, however, i digress, i wanted to turn it into warmer climate island like tropical or praire island, alas," 

Vegapunk sighed at the end of his sentence, 

"...it seems, it wasn't because of you have no solution for it right? But because another factor that the experiment was put on hold." 

"Just consider it as another failure of mine..." 

"No, i think your solution was mature enough considering you had already put those devices on the mountain. It couldn't be considered as failure yet, Doctor..." Kimimaro gently pat the doctor shoulder. 

"..You mean?" Vegapunk began to think about something when he saw Kimimaro firm gaze toward the island. 

"...Lets discuss this issue later after Enel come, i need to make sure to learn it thoroughly first before i help you perfected your climate device." 

Paused slightly, Kimimaro gave the doctor another smile as he continued, "...I do have some inklings about the problem, but for now we should finish our mission to escort you first." 

"Hahahaha, yes of course Dr.Kimimaro!" 

Both of them laughed in unison warmly hearing Vegapunk remarks.

With another brilliant mind helping him, Vegapunk felt that changing his home island climate would not be such problem anymore. 

it didn't take long for the ship to reach the shore, due to the ship size, they couldn't dock it on the platform and the crew need to use small boat to land. 

Excitement flashed on Vegapunk face as he missed his home island dearly, covered himself with thick wool jacket, Vegapunk followed by Kimimaro finaly step on the shore of the island which covered with snow. 

Behind them, Sentomaru, Tiana, Rome, Daigin and the others follows along. Unlike Kimimaro and Sentomaru, the rest were covered from head to toe by winter outfit. 

Momonga and the rest of the marines who still injured were ordered by Kimimaro to mind the ship and recuperate while his personal crews followed him into the island.

"Minus 34 degrees...it has gotten colder once again." Vegapunk frowned as he felt the cold wind blown pass them. 

"Don't you feel cold Kimimaro-kun?" The doctor couldn't help but cast a glance toward Kimimaro who walked besides him only using his traditional white haori. 

Sentomaru has abnormal constitution that made him quite resistant towards cold and Vegapunk let him be, he just wondering if Kimimaro has another weird constitution himself.

"Don't worry about me doctor, i'm fine." said Kimimaro despite redness appeared on his skin. 

"Captain seems wants to train himself again..." muttered Daigin from behind. 

As if agreeing with Daigin, the rest of the crew nodded as they knew how brutal their superior could train his body.

"Yeah, no wonder he is so strong." 

"Thats our captain." 

"Why don't we follow his example then? lets go unleash our youth!" 

*Smack! 

"Aaakh! it hurts!" the marine who wanted to follow Kimimaro and undone his winter outfit crouched down as huge bump appeared on his head.

Tiana blow her knuckle after hammered the last man insolent remarks head, are you kidding? 34 degrees below zero without outfit, they could become an ice statue in instant! 

Rome who walked besides her could only felt some shivers running through his body seeing Tiana's gesture.
