59.Leaving
"Anyway, now i'm curious about your origin. Well, i was being presumptuous once again..." Brook asked.
Enel stumped by Brook question, he shook his head and after some consideration he began to confess
"I wasn't born on Redline, in fact i don't know anything about my origin nor my parents..."
Enel paused as he relaxed and laid his back once again with his head resting on his hand.
"...In my hometown i was quite, Different..."
Enel paused once again for a while before he shook his head with bitter smile,
"....Anyway, long story short those are just distant past."
Black line appeared on Brook's forehead as Enel finished his story, what the heck? Brook was ready to give Enel some advice or console if needed, but Enel doesn't tell him anything and he cut the story short just like that?!
Sensing Brook's mood plumetted like an ice cavern, Enel laugh as he explained,
"Yahahaha, my story isn't interesting Brook. There's no need to waste our time to listen to a boring story."
At first Enel wanted to tell his new companion about his past, but his pride didn't seems to allow that to happen, as someone with strong personality. Enel felt like it was below his dignity to lament on his past circumstances and complain about it.
Thankfully, the skeleton didn't mind too much as he reassured Enel cheerfully,
"Yohohoho, if you say so. Besides everyone has one or two skeleton inside their wardrobe right?"
"...Even though i'm the skeleton outside of the wardrobe myself! Yohohohoho..."
Brook laughed loudly as if pleased with his own joke. Enel just laugh awkwardly hearing Brook.
And so,
5 days had passed uneventfuly. as the next day approach, Enel felt his body condition had gotten better thanks to his newly awakened Lunarian constitution.
At the ship's railing Enel asked toward Brook who stood besides him,
"Are you ready Brook?"
Brook adjusted his tall hat and wooden cane slightly, he answered with a smile even though Enel couldn't see it from his skull. There was a cofin under his feet, secured tightly.
"Always at the ready Enel-san, shall we?"
Both of them stood on top of a rusty metal plate Enel found on the deck below, with a little electricity of his, Enel polish it to remove the rust in order for his power to course through it perfectly.
After recuperating, Enel decided to go after Kimimaro and the rest of his crew. He doesn't have any doubt that his brother could escape unscathed after the pirates assault few days prior.
Taking out a peculiar piece of paper out of his pants, Enel put it on top of his open palm. Next, he adjusted his sight toward the distance and the paper.
Under his gaze, the paper moved slowly toward somewhere as if showing him a direction.
Noticing the moving paper, Brook couldn't help but asked, "What's that Enel-san?"
Glancing at the paper, Enel answered, "This? This is Vivre card, it can point the cards owner poisiton in real time."
Brook tilts his head, "Vivre card? and, who is the owner of that card?"
Enel smirked as he replied, "My brother, Kimimaro."
Brook, "So, it shown your brother poisition in real time by moving towards him? Yohohohoho, incredible."
Enel simply nodded as response,
right now, his focus was to rendezvous with his brother at Vegapunk home island Karakuri, thankfully for him, he didn't lost his pants as there was Kimimaro's Vivre card sewn inside.
As for his lost golden trident, Enel wouldn't dwell too much on it as it was only a tool which could be discarded any time despite he felt quite a loss about it.
As for Brook, after Enel offered him a ride to get outside the acursed Florian Triangle, he accepted it without hesitation as he has a promise to fulfill. He also didn't forget to bring along his crew remains inside the black cofin.
looking back in reminiscent towards his old ship, Brook firm himself as he wondered on what Enel would do to take them away from here.
and Enel doesn't disappoint, he conjured a streak of electricity all around his feet affecting the metal under it.
Brook staggered slightly as he felt the metal sheet floating slowly upwards!
"Incredible! Yohohoh...This will be quite a ride!" Exclaimed Brook as he saw they had left the ship into the air.
Enel smirked in response as he spoke, "Hold on and don't let yourself thrown away!"
Just right after Enel words left his mouth, Brook felt they accelerated into distance fast!
"YOHOHOHOHO..."
The metal plate along with the two individuals and a cofin coursing through the sky of Florian Triangle, and due to his Kenbunshoku(Color of Observation) Haki, Enel could navigate the metal sheet with ease to avoid some danger within it.
On their way, Enel felt lot of Sea kings lurking underwater, and at some point, he seems noticed that there was indeed a canophy of a huge tree which Brook mentioned peeking behind the thick fog. Enel however put those things back on his mind.
For now, he need to go to Karakuri as soon as possible rather than investigating about the huge tree.
As the metal sheet flying away, there was music accompanied their journey.
