The faction skill of Atrum Pestis is "Master of Ego," a skill granting resistance to psychological effects like fear and sleepiness.

Typically, Priests focusing on PVP tend to side with Atrum Pestis, at least with the current meta. This is because fear-based and sleep-inducing control skills are currently the strongest hard control skills.
