The Married Life Of Immortals

Lysia looked him up and down, and nodded her head. "I was not planning to fight anymore today, since you have already exhausted yourself. I was wondering if you were going to come back and sleep here or your place," She said, and Bane raised an eyebrow.

"Are you wanting me to move in?" Bane teased, but Lysia nodded her head.

"I think that would be best. This way I can train you more in the evening and in the mornings before you leave. We are getting married, so it only makes sense," Lysia said, and Bane rolled his eyes, throwing his hands up.

"It only makes sense, my butt!" Bane mocked, but it didn't faze Lysia, making him more frustrated because he knew that he would be the one to pay for all of this later. "You say all this stuff now, but what happens when we wake up together and our bodies grow? Are you going to be okay with being so forward with me? You aren't going to electrocute me or burn me with a fire ball are you?"

Lysia tilted her head, and her eyes narrowed. "Are you going to start acting like a pervert and try fondling me in my sleep?"

"You!" Bane growled, pointing a finger at her. "Stop thinking the worst of me! For all I know, you will be the one getting all handsy with me in my sleep! Oh, don't think I didn't see the way you looked at my older body! Yeah, I saw that dreamy look in your eyes!"

Lysia turned up her nose at Bane, and puffed out her non-existent chest. "I might have been slightly distracted, but when you see the woman that I will turn into, your bones will turn to rubber and your brain to mush! The sight of me will be so mesmerizing that I will be forced to use offensive magic to keep you from ravaging my body!"

All around them, while the two bickered, the villagers that were training decided to all quietly leave. It was clear that the two were going to continue talking like they were in their own private quarters. Everyone had seen the impossible fight between the two tiny monsters, and didn't want to stay around and be caught up in their quarrels.

"Hah! If you are going to turn into something so mesmerizing, then my future wife will have to be the same! I guess that makes me lucky, but I am not a monster! I know how to keep my damned hands to myself!" Bane growled, but then swept his finger around him. "Is this really the place to be talking about all of this?!"

Bane went to look at all the people that were surely staring at them, but there was no one there. All the people had cleared out, and left the two of them alone in the training hall. "Where did everyone go?" Bane asked, and Lysia pointed at him.

"A monster scared them off," She said, still pointing at Bane, making him roll his eyes.

"Don't pawn your title off on me! You are the real monster here!"

"You are a child, and that is why you are a monster, and you need someone to care for you."

"I am a grown ass man, and I don't need anyone to take care of me!"

The two continued to bicker until the evening. It only stopped after Lysia drugged Bane back to their room on the second floor of the training hall did the two stop. That was only because Lysia forced him to start reading more on the use of Basic Magic, and introductory to demonic energy and how to control it.

After reading for about two hours, the two of them started their nightly routine. After cleaning their teeth and bathing, the two climbed into bed, and Lysia curled up beside him.

"You are really serious about getting married, right?" Bane asked, and Lysia turned her body to face him.

"Are you not? This isn't something like a human marriage. Once we complete the Heart Ceremony, we will be bound together for life. That is why we are called Life Partners after it is done. You can't just get rid of me after," Lysia growled, but then let out a small cry when Bane flicked her forehead.

"I asked you, dummy. I already know that I am going to spend the rest of my life with you, but I want to know if you are sure about it. Stop getting so defensive about everything because I am not going anywhere that won't have me return to your side at some point. I just know this must be a big decision for you. You're much older than me, so you must have a lot more to consider. I am only human, after all, and I can be short sighted compared to you," Bane explained, and Lysia blushed slightly.

"You really are too smart, you know that, right?" She said, and Bane nodded his head, causing her to smack him. "Don't nod your head, brat! Of course I want this. I don't think anyone else but you could handle me for an eternity, and... you did look quite handsome before..."

"See! I told you that you were the real pervert here!" Bane accused, and Lysia growled, hitting him again.

"Shut up, brat!"

"Yes, dear," Bane said, and Lysia turned around facing away from him with a growl.

The two laid in the dark room for a while, and Bane was starting to think she was mad, but after a few moments, her hand found his, and she held it tightly. 'Ah, so she is just shy,' Bane thought, and moved closer to her before falling asleep.

While they and everyone else in Dominion Online slept, because the sun rose and set at the same time no matter where you were in the digital world, changes began to occur in all the people. Everyone's bodies grew from the 5 year forms into 20 year old versions of themselves.
