The Journey To Find The New Golden Emperor

CHAPTER 148 **A Nose in other’s Business!**

Within another two days, the Green Haven people were already stating their farewells. The days were long, but finally, Prince Seth was going to be coronated tomorrow and everyone was invited!

Within these two days, Sahara had to make her unappointed bodyguards, the bodyguards for Prince Seth instead.

…They were unwilling, as they had grown fond of Sahara, but they accepted her wish, nonetheless. It wasn’t like they wouldn’t be loyal, but they had really accepted and respected Sahara for what she had done here, since the fall of Purple Haven. And since these bodyguards had always been loyal and have accepted their fate now as the emperor’s future guards, Sahara gave them a white pill each.

They were very happy with that! Seeing that she was very caring still, even though they may not see each other much anymore. They all stated that she was to stay safe and give birth with no problems. Strangely, even though they know now, that Sahara was indeed a Princess, they still treated her the same as they always had, and Sahara liked that…

Over these two days, Sahara had also written another two games down, being very specific, and she said that she would have to come back with others, at the same time she could see how everyone was doing, as she had made one-woman friend as well.

This woman friend wasn’t someone that Sahara would normally tend to hang around with, but she was someone that had taken a liking to one of the fox’s and the fox seemed just as smitten with her as well.

They didn’t talk much, nor did they have much in common, but the fact that they both seemed to love the foxes, was enough for Sahara to return to see both of them again, as the young foxes were going to stay with this woman. So, it would only be Naruto that would be with Sahara now and that was still fine because this other fox was a dominant figure, just like Naruto, and they had lately started to fight each other…

Since they were leaving, Sahara finally got enough enthusiasm to get this woman’s name, but…She forgets it later…

*I’m not ganna tell ya it because you probably would forget it too…*

Steven was very quiet, and Sahara knew of his suffering, as he had gone for a whole day before returning. He was still obviously conflicted but didn’t want to leave her side, making her unable to know how to help him feel better.

She happily told him that they were going to leave soon, and he felt better afterwards, as if he stayed here, he felt like she would be in more danger…

Oh, Steven! I’m probably in more danger in Green Haven then here!

Sahara wanted to laugh at him but didn’t want him to know that he might be wrong, so she did nothing.

And…The General…He was just way to eager! He wanted to leave yesterday!

It really didn’t make him look good in front of others that saw him, but he was who he was, and since there was no longer any fighting to do, he was done! He nearly left a day ago, but Joshua talked him out of it, and Sahara stated that if he leaves, she won’t teleport him back and that would be faster…So, he got all depressed, but didn’t go anywhere, wanting to get back to Green Haven quicker! So, in the meantime, he got all his men to fight him, just to make himself feel better!

The Empress Dowager was another reason that they were leaving earlier, and that was because she wasn’t eating.

Matthew and Sahara had already nearly gone back to Green Haven to drop her off, but they decided against it. They felt it would look better when everyone returned at once, showing the emperor of what they had accomplished, even though the Empress Dowager was how she was. Of course, if worse came to worse, Sahara would make sure that the Empress Dowager stayed alive, by feeding her ‘internally’, so that it wasn’t a problem…What the problem was, they preferred that the Empress Dowager eat on her own accord…

Since it would be something selfish, Sahara did not attempt to erase her memories, but she had tried to talk to her…Even though she couldn’t even enter into the same room yet, all she could do is stand there, bowing her head. The room wasn’t big, and it wasn’t a cell. They had moved her to a nice little place in the palace, that perhaps an abandoned consort might have stayed in previously. This was due to Sahara wanting to make the Empress Dowager feel a little better about her circumstance…But it didn’t help that the ‘garden’ wasn’t really a garden yet. It wasn’t as pretty as it could be, as the flowers are yet to grow, as well as the trees and shrubs, orchids…

Nonetheless, Sahara had made curtains and a good bed for an elderly person to sleep on. She had put up artworks but…Completely forgot about the garden…

*In her previous life she wasn’t actually fond of flowers because…Well they tend to die if you don’t water them and even if you do remember to water them, they still die…She didn’t understand the point to living flowers and preferred the fake ones*

Sadly, when Sahara had tried to speak to the elderly woman earlier, she was told to get out, so, now, Sahara stayed outside of the door and silently stood there pouting. She knows she had done wrong and had no idea on how to fix it! Lowering herself to the Empress Dowager, Sahara didn’t feel like she was losing what they call ‘face’, as she was extremely sorry for what she had done.

Knowing that she had dissed the Empress Dowager, when she had been given the chance to show a good side of herself, made Sahara feel a bit of regret. If only her and Matthew had spoken of the other wives earlier, so that she wouldn’t have disrespectfully just left the Empress Dowager back then!

Not only that, but the old woman was really tired! Sahara really did feel for her situation!

It really was no wonder that she would get angry easily and get manipulated, because she was just too tired to think too hard into some things!

But…At the end of the day, her so called Imperial Grandmother did come up with wanting to take her child from her and only so much would make Sahara feel better about that…So…Sahara was conflicted and could only just stand there at the door, not sure what she was hoping for…

Without being told, she would continue to stand there bowing, until Matthew would tell her that she needed to eat and sleep, so that she can take care of their son, as well as her health.

Slowly, even though the Empress Dowager wasn’t eating, she herself was coming back from that freaked out, savagely seen elderly woman from before. Her royal elegance started to come back every now and again and when she learnt that they were leaving, she demanded to be bathed and had nice clothes!

So, Matthew and Sahara were feeling somewhat hopeless but happy at the same time. If she had died here in Purple Haven, they would most likely loss their lives in Green Haven!

…If only she would eat something though!

Princess Sarina, soon to be Empress Sarina, was sad to see Princess Sahara leaving and wanted her to stay. It was obvious that what Sahara had done for her would only last so long and then she would feel sick again…But she didn’t feel as sick as before, so it was a bit more tolerable. But…She didn’t want to feel sick at all!

Sahara made her feel better one more time but told her that the unborn child should let her eat again soon, making Sarina slightly happier. Again, Sahara had only topped up the B6 and asked the spiritual essence to help Sarina for a short duration, as Sarina will have to find other ways to cope without her from now on.

On the other hand, Sahara did teleport to Prince Seth secretly and told him that Sarina may get upset when she finds out the sex of their child.

Prince Seth was considerably upset about this, so Sahara had to continue quickly, that if they were to have another child afterwards, that is a boy, then his Princess should calm down.

Sahara had only wanted to help, to perhaps get them closer, considering that it could be easy to conceive another child and have a boy, so all they had to do was to wait. As far as Sahara was aware, Prince Seth didn’t show Princess Sarina too much attention lately and if he could spend even half an hour with her daily, instead of nothing, the problems might be avoided…

But…Sahara having done this, was really sticking her business in when it wasn’t ‘needed’. Her idea of them easily just waiting, spending more time together, and not doing anything drastic, only telling them two or three things…Seems to have backfired…

Saying that the child was a girl, and that Sarina might be upset about it, was enough to anger Prince Seth and he told Sahara to leave!

Ok…You figure it out then, just don’t come crawling back to me when all you had to do was make sure that she felt secure! Bloody idiots!

Again, Sahara remembered why she wasn’t good with people. She knew that when she talked to them, she was just too bloody blunt and that’s the reason why they always get upset with her, well besides that of sticking her nose in other people’s problems…

So, from this point forth, Sahara finally felt like she could finally release that ‘bossy’ attitude that she had because of the anger Prince Seth had shown…

It was weird, because she wondered if she hadn’t stuck her nose into that problem, revealing it to the Prince Seth, would she feel the freedom from not being the boss anymore?

Sahara could only sigh and leave, hoping that things don’t turn out the way she fears…

Even though Sarina was a bit materialistic, she was insecure, and she just knew that she would feel terrible for having a daughter, instead of a son. So, that was why Sahara had told this to Prince Seth, so that he would continue to see her and not just abandon her…Because that would make things terribly worse!

As much as Sahara knew, even though she had no rights to say anything, she felt like she was trying to save the future of not only the child being unwanted and possibly abandoned, but their relationship as Emperor and Empress!

After all, the little unborn girl was going to be precious. She will be the first child born in the new Purple Haven for…Well at least ten months!

Once again Sahara was thinking ‘prevention’…

Whatever! If I didn’t try, I would have regretted it! At least Prince Seth can think about this now and not be surprised later…He seemed like he was not going to storm anything down, it was more slight anger after being somewhat happy about other things…Hopefully he won’t do anything stupid!

And that thought was indeed right, Prince Seth was dealing with his Haven! He was also getting somewhere, now having found a good person to help him, and hearing that his newly pregnant wife was not only having a daughter but also wanting time with him…

The trip towards the Haven was indeed blissful for the couple but was it really too much to ask that he spends a few days getting his Haven organized!?

And to be told this by Sahara, the one that has many loyal followers here!

Sahara didn’t understand why Prince Seth was still figuring out ways to regain his people back from her, because she had always thought these people as his anyway…All she had wanted…Was for him not to completely forget about Sarina!

Hence why Sahara could only sigh…

Again, only advice could be given…Just as the saying goes, ‘you can lead a horse to water’. And at this moment, Sahara was starting to think that it doesn’t matter if she read people’s thoughts and able to see their memories, because people aren’t giving her words much thought!

Was it still because she was a woman!? No…Sarina…She was just set in her own ways, and Prince Seth was more worried about his Haven and people…

Would it be trust then? Do humans seem so untrustworthy!?

How annoying! But at least they didn’t think that I was a complete eyesore! That wouldn’t help in the long run!

But Sahara also knew that she was probably overstepping her boundaries…With both Prince Seth and Princess Sarina, she really didn’t have to intrude, and they would continue to live their lives as they would…But…

Sahara honestly only wanted to help! She wanted the two of them to stay close and not drift apart, she wanted them to love their daughter and try for a son, treating their children well.

After all, this was still the ancient era, where men all over the place took in more than one vagina!

Perhaps though, what Sahara wanted, wasn’t something that she could enforce…That’s right…

This was another reason why Sahara remembered why she had no friends…Because she stated her opinion, even though just advice, quite blunt and upfront…And that always made people drift away from her…

Sighing, Sahara could only hope that she tries to hold back more, as it was, she already had troubles talking to people! Why add to that with something else!?
