Chapter 75: Going to Save my Wife.
(Risa’s POV)
Pulling all the strings that I could pull, my daughter and I were now on a ship, with the goal of reaching our dear wife. Since I had such influence over the military, I was able to get them to lend me the fastest ship in existence. Far faster than the ship that took Tesslia.
Karlena: “…”
Risa: “Why are you still pouting? We’re going to save Tesslia, you know.” I say with a motherly tone.
Karlena: “I had to hide my restraints under my blanket during that call… What if Tesslia saw me locked up!?” She pouted out.
Risa: “Don’t worry. That girl will be happy about it.” I reply with a laugh.
Karlena: “???”
Risa: “You don’t get it? Once Tesslia knows that I had to chain you up using absurdly expensive restraints, so that you wouldn’t go off to save her… she will be so damn happy. She might even sex you on the spot.” I explain with a giggle.
Karlena: “…Mother.” She said, grabbing both of my hands.
Risa: “Yes, dear?” I reply.
Karlena: “You’re an absolute genius!” She praised.
Risa: “I know, thanks for the praise.” I say with a smile.
Funnily enough, not many of my daughters had inherited my intelligence. Come to think of it… Didn’t Blair kidnap one of my daughters? Frankly, as I have so many of them… I have long since lost track of the amount and names of my daughters…
Risa: “Karlena… I know that this isn’t the best time, but am I a bad mother?” I ask with a sad tone.
Karlena: “We have to wait for the ship to arrive, so it isn’t really a bad time. And, no. You’re a good mother.” She answered.
Risa: “Is that really true? Prior to meeting Tesslia, I had forgotten about you…” I reply with a remorseful tone.
Karlena: “You had too many children to keep track of, Mom. But you stayed with each of for more than a few hundred years after we were born, and you only left our side after we had established our lives.” She explained with a warm tone.
Risa: “But… Charta.” I add.
Karlena: “What about her? She is your youngest daughter, and you still remember her. You even give her Credits all the time, and you’re trying to help her build a career. Stop being sad! You’re a good mother, and I will not stand here and listen to you degrade yourself like this.” She replied with a stern tone.
Risa: “…”
Really? Going through my PC, I messaged each of my daughters. I might not recall their names, but I did have them placed in a specific contact list. That is, I put them under the “My Daughters” category. Simply, I asked them if I was a good mother.
As much as my mind should be focusing on Tesslia, I couldn’t stop my curiosity. I really had over 300 daughters!? What was even more surprising… was that each of them replied and said that I was an amazing mother. Some showed me pictures of their wives or their daughters.
And… all of them invited me to visit them sometime. I see… Before meeting Tesslia, I had focused most of my life on my work. That is, when I didn’t have a daughter to raise. Now that Tesslia awoke this in me… I cannot forget my daughters any longer. Yes, after this is all over, I must meet them all again. Actually… let’s do that after I marry Tesslia. Then I can flaunt her to my daughters!
