Chapter 74: It is almost Resolved.
(Tesslia’s POV)
Heading back to that one housing area, Blair then had an in-depth discussion with Rosey. It was mostly a heart to heart; you see. Blair’s piracy was known to all, but not the woman herself.
Prior to losing her memories, the original Blair had spent a fortune to ensure that anything negative to do with her was immediately removed from the internet. There was only word of mouth left, and no one would badmouth Blair to her face.
Vampires seem to not like lying to each other, so neither of them thought that the other was lying. This meant that the conversation went smoothly. But there was still one big problem left…
Rosey: “Your original crew surely knows that you’ve lost your memories… They won’t be letting their positions go so easily.” She said with a serious tone.
Blair: “What do you suggest that we do? I agree that my security crew is as scary as can be. I make sure to avoid them as often as possible…” She asked with a nervous tone.
Rosey: “We have Risa and Karlena on our side, Blair. Risa, in particular, has major backing and influence with the military. If she gives the word, they will come here to save us.” She said with a confident tone.
Blair: “That’ll work, then. We just have to call them for help!” She excitedly replied.
Huh? I haven’t met those security people, but are they really scary? Blair, despite not remembering much, should still be very strong. Shit… are those ex-space pirates actually strong?
Tesslia: “What… is that security crew really that dangerous? I feel like, after a few hundreds years of this life… shouldn’t they be calmer now?” I say with a head tilt.
Rosey: “Blair is far stronger than them, but without her memories, she won’t be able to fight back. Let alone defend herself against them.” She answered.
Tesslia: “…”
Blair: “Yes, that is why we need the help of your other wives. Now, please call them quickly!” She urged.
This whole thing turned out so weirdly… I feel like I have lost all hope that events in this life will be simple, or at least easy to comprehend. With a sigh, I then called Risa and Karlena. As the uninterested and lazy girl, I let Blair and Rosey talk to them while I ate some fruit in silence.
Lots of Exposition Later.
Karlena: “We can send help right away. But it will take over a week for them to make it there…” She said with a sigh.
Risa: “We’ll just have to hope that no one founds out until the military gets to them.” She said with a dissatisfied tone, biting her fingernail.
Rosey: “It won’t be hard. Those people have definitely figured out that Blair lost her memories. Just as long as she doesn’t do anything crazy, they shouldn’t hurt her or us.” She said with a smile.
Blair: “I’ll make sure to keep this all hidden until we’re saved!” She swore.
Karlena: “Rosey… if anything does happen, you must protect Tesslia. She is a weak human, and can easily die unlike us.” She said with a serious tone.
Rosey: “I will not be letting my wife die, no. Rest assured in this.” She replied with an assured tone and expression.
Ending the call, Blair and Rosey had more to talk about. Though it went on for a long time, the two started to laugh about the hundred year misunderstanding between them. Which was good. Sorry, you two. But this is more than enough excitement for one day for the sleepy and lazy me. You two continue speaking, I’ll just go to dreamland.
