Chapter 168: Shi Liumang
Qi Bei walked out of the Dean’s study and saw Mo Ziyu in a fiery red robe looking at him with an inquisitive gaze.
“What are you looking at? Interested in me? I’m not interested in old women,” Qi Bei flicked his straw-like hair and said arrogantly.
“You… Even if I had to choose between a pig and you, I wouldn’t choose you. With a face like a stick, you might be eaten by a dog one day,” Anger flashed across Mo Ziyu’s pretty face, followed by sarcasm.
Mo Ziyu was considered quite beautiful, with a good figure that could be seen even under the spacious robe, highlighting her graceful curves. However, she should be around twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old, a senior fire mage who was originally a teacher at the academy. But her temper was too fiery. Within six months, she had seriously injured three male students, so she no longer taught. However, her reputation was well-known throughout the Royal Academy and even in the Falling Sunset Kingdom, being hailed as the representation of a fierce mother dragon.
“Hahaha! You’re even worse. Even dogs don’t want you. You’re more pitiful than a Goubuli steamed bun,” Qi Bei burst into laughter.
“That’s outrageous! I have to teach you a lesson, you ignorant brat. Do you think my reputation as Mo Ziyu was gained for nothing?” Mo Ziyu was so furious that smoke seemed to be coming out of her head, and she was about to take action.
“Ziyu, come in,” at that moment, Dean Mo’s voice came from inside.
Mo Ziyu pointed her wand at Qi Bei and then turned to enter the study.
Qi Bei shrugged his shoulders, feeling sorry for the poor child. It had been more than twenty years since she had been calling this ghost “Father”.
At this time, it was lunch break in the academy, and the campus was bustling with people coming and going.
Qi Bei sat under a snowflake tree, watching the diverse students of the academy. Of course, he focused mainly on the beautiful female students.
“Being a student is great,” Qi Bei sighed in his heart. The scene before him made him reminisce about his time on the university campus in his previous life.
However, after coming to this world, he had no time or energy to enjoy all of this. He was immediately dragged into a whirlwind of bloodshed and violence.
A gust of wind blew, and flower petals, like snowflakes, fluttered down. It was beautiful!
“Isn’t that the rascal from our class?” Suddenly, a few passing students from the Battle Qi Academy stopped, and one of them, with a big nose, loudly pointed at Qi Bei.
“Is this the infamous rascal who drools over Feng Ruoyu, the beautiful flower of the academy?” the other male student asked, laughing in agreement.
Upon hearing their conversation, and of course, mainly because they mentioned Feng Ruoyu’s name, many students passing by stopped and looked at Qi Bei. At this moment, Qi Bei, wearing a magical mask, could only be described as ordinary-looking at best.
“At most, he’s like a toad wanting to eat swan meat. Why do you call him a rascal?” one student asked with a laugh.
“Because his surname is Shi, and his name is Liu Mang. Isn’t that a dead rascal? His parents really had foresight,” the student with the big nose said.
“It’s really an insult to the term ‘rascal.’ His surname is Shi, isn’t that a piece of shit?” someone laughed.
Human nature, ah. It’s just so despicable. When they encounter someone who can make them feel superior, they do their best to mock and ridicule to highlight their sense of superiority.
Originally, Qi Bei couldn’t be bothered with this group of childish people. They were not on the same level. It was meaningless. When a person faces mockery from a group of ants, would they care?
However, when this group of ants affected his mood, he didn’t mind crushing them all.
“Get lost! If you don’t, I’ll make all of you eat shit,” Qi Bei’s voice thundered in the ears of the mocking students.
These people were stunned for a while, seemingly unable to believe that someone who was usually silent and timid would be so arrogant.
“Teach him a lesson,” the big-nosed student regained his senses and said sternly.
And at that moment, a flash of purple light suddenly appeared.
“Zing!”
In an instant, electric currents flickered, and the three students who had mocked Qi Bei earlier were all charred and convulsing on the ground. The onlookers were shocked and quickly retreated.
“Xiao Zi, throw all three of them into the sewage pit over there,” Qi Bei commanded Xiao Zi, who was flying in the air.
Xiao Zi chirped a few times and suddenly dove down. Its sharp claws grabbed onto one person’s clothes. Unbelievably, the small creature, not much bigger than a fist, effortlessly lifted them up and swiftly flew towards the back of the nearby toilet. With a flash of lightning, it shattered the cover of the cesspool and dropped the person directly into it.
Then, Xiao Zi proceeded to throw the other two individuals one by one. The entire process took less than a minute.
The onlooking students in the distance looked at each other in astonishment, still unable to believe what they had witnessed.
And by now, Xiao Zi had flown in front of Qi Bei and slipped into his clothes.
“Some people have no manners even when given face. Damn it!” Qi Bei stood up, patted his butt, and swaggered away.
The onlookers were stunned for a while until someone finally reacted. Those three students had been electrocuted and thrown into the sewage pit. They would likely drown in there.
As a result, chaos ensued once again.
Meanwhile, Feng Ruoyu and Huo Siqin, from a distance, were both following Qi Bei’s figure with different expressions on their faces.
“Weird, the way he walks… it looks so much like Brother Qi Bei.” Feng Ruoyu wondered to herself, shaking her head afterwards. Perhaps she had been missing Qi Bei too much lately. The last time she saw the back of that bearded man, she felt the same way, and now seeing this young man, she felt a resemblance.
“Weird, I’ve seen that purple bird on the bearded man too, but the one on him was much smaller than this one,” Huo Siqin thought to herself.
Almost simultaneously, the two of them snapped out of their thoughts and continued walking forward.
“By the way, Siqin, did we see any ghosts last night? I can’t seem to remember it clearly,” Feng Ruoyu asked.
“It seemed like we saw some fleeting shadows, but we didn’t discover anything, and then we went back,” Huo Siqin replied, her tone uncertain because the memory seemed fuzzy. But it was something that happened last night, so how could this kind of situation occur?
Feng Ruoyu and Huo Siqin exchanged a glance, both seeing the confusion in each other’s eyes.
“I feel like there’s something strange about that place,” Feng Ruoyu said.
“Yeah, I think so too. I asked the people in the dormitory, and they have no idea how I got back,” Huo Siqin said.
“Let’s forget about it for now. The academy is organizing a trip to the Golden Leaf Empire. Today, the mentor said my name was on the list,” Feng Ruoyu said.
“Oh, I was just about to tell you. The mentor approached me as well,” Huo Siqin said.
“Isn’t it a bit rushed? We haven’t heard about this before,” Feng Ruoyu frowned.
…
…
The incident where a guy named Shi Liumang threw three students into the sewage pit quickly spread throughout the entire academy. Those three students nearly drowned, and although they had regained consciousness, they seemed to have become nervous and traumatized, leaving a significant psychological impact.
Many people were waiting for news from the academy’s inspection team, but strangely, the captain of the team was furious upon hearing the news and then there was no further information or action from the inspection team.
