All kinds of instruments were installed, and soon, fruits and other supplies began arriving one after another.
Looking at the fresh fruits and materials delivered before her, Evan felt a headache brewing.
It was just too much.
The entire house was bursting with decorations.
Glancing at the sky outside, Evan called out to Luna and the others who were playing nearby:
"Luna, go grab the energy cubes I made this afternoon."
"Then feed them to Ralts, and make sure Pikachu gets its food too."
"All the energy cubes Auntie and the others helped make have already been moved here."
Hearing Evan's call, the children playing outside quickly ran over.
"Got it, Brother Evan!"
"We'll go move the energy cubes over now!"
Luna responded enthusiastically and dashed off.
The group started transferring the energy cubes as Evan placed basins one by one in the backyard.
Looking toward the back mountain, Evan shouted loudly:
"It's time to eat!"
At his call, the backyard came alive with motion.
A golden Pidgeot swooped down from the back mountain, leading a flock of Pidgey in the glow of the setting sun.
They were joined by an array of flying Pokémon, including Butterfree and Beedrill.
Soon after, various Pokémon from the orchard began to arrive—creatures that had been helping Evan manage the grounds.
In no time, the backyard of Evan's breeding house was filled with Pokémon.
Luna and the others quickly delivered the Pokémon food that Evan had prepared earlier.
The children watched the gathering Pokémon with excitement written all over their faces.
There were so many of them!
Even though they were mostly ordinary Pokémon, the sheer number was staggering.
As the energy cubes were delivered, Evan began organizing everyone to help distribute them into the basins.
These cubes were low-level energy blocks. They wouldn't boost any Attributes, but they were perfect for filling bellies.
For the wild Pokémon, these were more than sufficient.
The enticing aroma of the energy cubes made the Pokémon eager to dig in.
Evan poured the cubes into the basins and addressed the gathered Pokémon:
"Today is your first meal here."
"But it certainly won't be your last."
"From now on, I hope everyone will come here at this time daily, even if I don't call for you."
"I'll have these kids distribute the energy cubes to all of you."
"When you're full, feel free to return to your nests."
"Also, please don't waste anything. If you can't finish, take the leftovers back to feed your young or share with others."
"Understood?"
The wild Pokémon grew restless at Evan's words, and their leaders quickly nodded in agreement.
Seeing this, Evan smiled in satisfaction.
After placing all the energy cubes in the basins with Luna and the others, Evan let the Pokémon start eating.
Although there was some initial chaos, Evan's firm warnings quickly restored order, and the Pokémon began eating in an organized manner.
Evan also gave Ralts its specially prepared energy cubes, as well as Pikachu and Pidgeot.
Of course, his own Pokémon didn't eat the same food as the wild ones.
The food for Pikachu and Pidgeot consisted of high-grade energy cubes.
Later, they would be treated to top-quality energy cubes.
Having earned their loyalty, Evan made sure they were well taken care of.
As for Ralts, Sophia had carefully formulated its energy cubes, ensuring they were perfectly suited to its needs. Evan wouldn't cut corners with that.
After making sure the Pokémon were fed and reminding them to return to their nests after eating, Evan turned his attention to other pressing tasks.
There was still work to be done, and some of it couldn't wait until tomorrow.
Certain berries, like the ones collected from Tropius, were highly time-sensitive.
If not processed immediately, their effectiveness would be halved by the next day, which was unacceptable to Evan's standards.
He moved to the room where various berries were stored, located the ones gathered from Tropius, and began processing them right away.
These fruits were similar to bananas in texture. Evan's task was to peel them, chop them into pieces, and mash them into a paste.
For those unfamiliar, it would look just like bananas blended into a smooth puree.
Thankfully, Violet had sent over a large mixer earlier that afternoon, which was perfect for the job.
As the machine whirred to life, the fruits began to blend into a fine paste.
While the mixer did its work, Evan turned his attention to other tasks, making efficient use of his time.
The first batch of energy cubes Evan had ever made had been eaten by Sophia's Garchomp. It was a small but meaningful start to what had now become a thriving operation.
That guy still has an Absol on his team, and it's likely he'll need energy cubes for it in the future.
Perhaps this current batch is just a trial run?
Evan didn't worry too much about it—business was business.
Turning his attention to another task, Evan found the Dragon Skull. The pure dragon energy emanating from the massive skull made him pause, muttering to himself:
"This thing is ridiculously valuable."
Tapping on it, Evan noted its texture.
It felt as tough as Oreburgh rock—just as unyielding.
Picking up the hefty bone, Evan brought it over to the grinder and began working.
The grinder was specially designed for processing large, durable materials like this.
Its gears, made from specialized alloys, could reduce even the toughest Oreburgh rock into fine powder.
Starting the machine, Evan carefully began feeding the Dragon Skull into the grinder.
The sharp, grating noise filled the room, loud enough to make it sound like a blacksmith's forge.
Piece by piece, the half-meter-long Dragon Skull was ground down to powder.
Once he finished, Evan stopped the machine and collected the resulting grayish powder.
Next came secondary processing.
Evan combined the ground dragon bone powder with honey juice from a Combee's hive, stirring it into a mixture.
Looking at the murky, gray substance, Evan chuckled to himself:
"Is this what they call legendary 'ashes bibimbap?'"
"Emm…" He frowned momentarily.
Thankfully, it was only meant for Pokémon.
For humans? Not a chance—even if it wasn't harmful, no one in their right mind would eat this.
Shaking his head with amusement, Evan placed the mixture into the massive freezer for storage.
He then returned to the blender and removed the freshly made fruit paste.
Adding more Combee honey juice, Evan stirred it thoroughly before transferring it into the freezer.
Once frozen, it would be ready for use tomorrow.
After completing these tasks, Evan took a moment to rest.
Looking around at the abundance of fruits still waiting to be processed, he sighed.
"There's so much left to do. But hey, for the sake of money, it's worth it."
Just as Evan was about to leave, Luna poked her head into the room, her curiosity evident.
