CHAPTER 15 : Forgotten Past
Omega 1965 worked tirelessly in his dark laboratory, surrounded by the eerie glow of flickering lights. Tubes and wires snaked across the room, connecting various machines and apparatuses. His sharp, calculating gaze was fixed on a computer screen displaying complex data.
Suddenly, the door to the laboratory swung open, and the human fused who had been tasked with disciplining Blue entered. Omega glanced up, his expression unreadable. "What is it?" he demanded, his voice dripping with cold authority.
The human fused approached cautiously, knowing better than to test Omega's patience. "I have something important to tell you, Omega," he said, his voice tinged with apprehension.
"It better be important, or you'll regret wasting my time," Omega warned, his eyes narrowing.
The human fused swallowed nervously before speaking. "The human known as Blue... he's different," he began, choosing his words carefully. "Despite the severity of the beatings he endured, his injuries seem to have healed remarkably fast. Faster than any human should heal. And his scars... they haven't disappeared."
Omega's interest was piqued. He leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. "Is that so?" he murmured, a hint of excitement creeping into his voice. "Continue."
The human fused hesitated, unsure if he should reveal the full extent of his suspicions. But ultimately, fear of Omega's wrath won out. "I believe... I believe he may be the result of your special project," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "The one where you implanted robotic parts into the womb of an unborn baby. The baby that disappeared..."
Omega's eyes widened in realization. "So, Blue is that baby," he mused, a calculating gleam in his eyes. "Interesting..."
A chilling smile spread across Omega's face as he formulated a plan. "Break him," he commanded, his voice echoing through the laboratory. "Break him so I can mold him into my successor."
The human fused nodded silently, understanding the gravity of Omega's orders. With a sense of foreboding, he turned and left the laboratory, leaving Omega alone with his thoughts.
As the door closed behind him, Omega's mind raced with possibilities. Blue held the key to his legacy, and Omega would stop at nothing to unlock his full potential. The game had only just begun, and Omega was determined to emerge victorious.
