Paradise Grey

Blue was jolted awake by the sensation of cold water splashing over his face. He sputtered and coughed, his vision blurry as he struggled to focus. "I'll tell him everything, just stop," he pleaded, his voice weak.

The man standing over him sneered, his features twisted with malice. "Do you think Omega is a free person?" he growled. "Omega has given us the task of disciplining you until he comes back."

Blue's heart sank as the man's fists rained down on him once again, the blows landing with brutal force. He gritted his teeth against the pain, his body wracked with agony as darkness threatened to consume him.

Hours passed, and Blue drifted in and out of consciousness. Eventually, he was roused by the presence of a woman standing over him, holding out a bowl of food. "Eat," she commanded, her tone harsh.

"What is it?" Blue asked weakly, his stomach churning with nausea.

"Goat food," the woman replied curtly. "Now eat."

Blue hesitated for a moment before reluctantly accepting the bowl. As he ate, his mind raced with worry for Daima. "Where's Daima?" he asked, panic rising in his voice.

The woman's response was swift and cruel. With a swift punch to his gut, she silenced him. "Finish your food," she snapped. "We don't waste."

Forced to eat the foul mixture, Blue felt bile rise in his throat. He choked back his revulsion, his heart heavy with grief and horror. Then, as the woman left him alone once more, he was consumed by a wave of despair.

No tears came as Blue stared blankly ahead, his reality shattered by the unthinkable act he had just committed. The pain of his injuries paled in comparison to the anguish in his heart as he realized he had eaten his beloved pet, his loyal friend, without even realizing it
