Naruto: Uchiha's Resolve

Chapter 38: Chapter:38

Uchiha Hirito's spiritual energy snapped back into his body, his crimson Mangekyō Sharingan spinning with renewed vigor. Susanoo's massive fists crashed down on Uzumaki Mito's tailed beast avatar, their battle echoing like thunder across the Death Forest.

"Uzumaki Mito, you're finished!" Hirito declared, his voice dripping with confidence. The deal struck with Kurama assured him of victory.

Mito felt a tremor in her seal, and panic flashed in her normally composed demeanor. Kurama, the Nine-Tails, was no longer dormant.

The Seal Breaks

"Mito, you thought you could keep my chakra forever?" Kurama's voice growled inside her mind. "Not anymore. Give it back!"

Chains that had bound the Nine-Tails for decades snapped one by one. The balance Mito relied on began to crumble.

She gritted her teeth, channeling her chakra to reinforce the seal. "Not now! Stay contained, you wretched fox!"

But Kurama was relentless. For the first time in decades, it had a real chance at freedom.

Hirito's Opening

Hirito's sharp eyes caught the moment Mito's power wavered. Her tailed beast form flickered, and her strikes slowed.

"Perfect," Hirito thought. He seized the opportunity, Susanoo's blade slicing through the air with terrifying precision.

Mito staggered under the onslaught, her focus divided between fighting Hirito and suppressing Kurama.

"I can't fight him and the Nine-Tails at once," she thought grimly. "If this continues, I'll lose everything."

Surrender or Defeat

"I yield!" Mito's voice rang out. Her tailed beast transformation dissolved as she released her chakra.

But Hirito didn't stop. "Surrender? Now?" he mocked. "Too late!"

Before Mito could react, Susanoo dissipated, and Hirito leapt down, delivering a solid punch to her jaw.

Her head snapped back, and she stumbled. "What are you doing?" she cried out, her voice muffled as Hirito's fist connected again, this time with her stomach.

"You said you wanted to fight, didn't you?" Hirito's grin was wild. "Let me show you how the Uchiha do it!"

His fists rained down, each strike precise and calculated. Mito, once a fearsome warrior and wife to the First Hokage, could do little but endure.

Equal Treatment

"Gender equality," Hirito declared, smirking. "I don't discriminate in battle!"

With every punch, Mito's face swelled. Her regal demeanor was gone, replaced by the bruises and swelling of someone thoroughly outmatched.

"Enough!" she managed to shout through swollen lips. "You've made your point!"

Hirito stopped mid-swing, tilting his head mockingly. "Oh, you surrender? Why didn't you say so earlier?"

Mito glared at him, her eyes burning with fury even as her face resembled a pig's head.

Aftermath

Hirito stepped back, his smirk never leaving. "Don't take it personally, Mito-sama. You fought well—for your age."

Mito's hands trembled with rage, but she couldn't muster the strength to retaliate. Kurama's internal struggle had drained her chakra reserves.

"The position of Hokage is yours," she spat, her voice shaking. "Now get out of my sight!"

Hirito gave a theatrical bow. "As you wish, Lady Mito."

Kurama's Retribution

Inside Mito's seal, Kurama roared with laughter. "Mito, you've really fallen low. Beaten into a pig's head by a kid!"

"Shut up!" Mito snarled, summoning her remaining strength. Chains materialized, wrapping around the Nine-Tails' limbs.

"You think this is over?" she hissed. "I'll keep you locked up for another hundred years if I have to!"

Kurama howled as Mito's chains whipped across its back. "This is all your fault, Uchiha brat!" it growled through gritted teeth.
