Chapter 80: Marriage Ceremony
When we returned backstage, Yuki turned to Liza.
“Thank you so much. I never thought I would be able to wear such a beautiful dress…I am so happy.”
Yuki shed a few tears.
“Yuki, it’s yours. I made it for you, so don’t hesitate to take it.”
Yuki could not stop crying at those words.
“Yuki. You went to the trouble of putting on beautiful make-up...it’s going to get ruined!”
Liza looked at me proudly,
“No, no, no. I knew Yuki would cry with joy, so I put on makeup that won’t come off. Fufufu. I’m amazing, aren’t I?”
The dependents nearby were crying and clapping softly. *Oh, that’s just like Liza*… Even so, the venue continued to erupt in applause and cheers. It was common for wedding dresses to appear at the end of a show, but the performance was just like a wedding.
“This is your wedding. That’s what I’ve been preparing for.” Liza said something surprising.
“Come on! Now it’s time for the real thing! Everyone! Take ‘em away!”
We were taken away by Liza’s dependents. There was a small wedding chapel set up. My brothers, father, and Yuki’s parents were there. They must have manipulated their thoughts to bring them here. Yuki’s parents must also be able to see her. Yuki hugged her parents.
She said, “Thank you for bringing me up this far. Dad. Mom. I'm happy.”
The chapel bells rang. Lots of flowers shower blessings on us.
I told Yuki’s parents, “I will make her happy. Thank you for bringing Yuki into this world and raising her!”
Saying this, I hugged Yuki’s parents’ by the shoulders. Then I clapped my hands and erased their memories. The two who had collapsed would be returned to their cruise ship by Liza’s household.
“… I… I… I don’t know what to say....Marc. Your family is really wonderful!"
Yuki clung to my neck.
“We’ve been together for hundreds of years. We’ve had our fights, but we’re a family. Seeing your happy face makes me happy.”
My father looked up at the sky and said quietly.
“Maybe I should have dressed Marie in it."
I understood how my father felt, so it's okay. The two of them were close, so maybe my father regrets it a little now. But I didn’t think my mother, Marie, would've felt that way. She was a very outspoken person, so if she wanted something done, she would have said so herself.
“You look even more handsome today.”
Before I knew it, Kazuya in his usual attire was there.
“You! When did this happen?"
“I’ve been here since the beginning. That was great. I am happy for you, Yuki-sama.”
“Kazuya-kun, you looked so cool as a model!”
Kazuya got embarrassed by Yuki’s words."
