My Son Might Be A Villain

Chapter 79: But this man in front of her was obviously no fool (3)

“May I ask why?”

“Why? I felt that your music can alleviate my symptoms.”

“What kind of symptoms?” asked Su Ran, carrying on the conversation.

“Non-pathological insomnia,” said Lu Shao with no hesitation, sharing it openly with Su Ran, who was technically a complete stranger to him. That surprised even himself.

He chalked it up to the pianist looking like a nice person and was personable. And the tone and mood when chatting also made him feel comfortable.

“Oh, is that so? I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to pry.”

“That’s fine.”

“You can pull over right there,” said Su Ran when she saw that the car had already driven out of Dongshan Mansion.

“Where are you going? I can drop you off.”

“That’s alright. I had already called myself a ride. Thank you so much for your help today.”

“Mmm.” Lu Shao nodded.

After Su Ran had gotten out of the car, Lu Shao handed over a business card to her.

“This is my business card. I hope you would give my request a thought. You can contact me any time.”

The business card of the Lu’s house master was priceless on the black market. People would kill for it.

Su Ran, of course, had no idea about that.

She merely politely looked at the business card after she had taken it from him.

On the card was a name and a string of numbers. And that was it.

Lu Shao?

Su Ran looked at the name on the card.

Yep. This was not a name that she had come across in the novel before.

But, “Lu”….

There was only one character with the surname Lu in the entire novel and that was Lu BoYang, the second male lead!

In the original novel, the Lu’s was strong, powerful, and very secretive. Could this man be a relative of Lu BoYang?

What Su Ran really wanted to ask was: Does your family own a gold mine?

Unfortunately, the car was already long gone by now.

Meh, it’s fine.

She needed to stay away from the Song’s. She should also stay away from the second male lead’s family.

Seeing that her taxi was here, Su Ran decided to put this issue aside. She also brought two pounds of crawfish home with her.

Back at home, Su Han had already completed the question sets for all other subjects. In fact, he was so bored he was browsing through his class’s chat group.

Hearing the key in the door, he hesitated for a couple seconds before he dashed in front of the table, opened up the problem sets, and pretended that he was still working on them.

“Wow, Xiao Han you are still working on your problem sets?” Seeing that Su Han was still working on the problem sets, Su Han was surprised and also felt a little bit bad about it.

Did she assign him too much homework? Everybody else said that they made their kids do them so they could win at the starting line. Plus, most of them only started on these in their junior year.

“How much more do you have to do?” Maybe you should stop?

Hearing her words, the tip of Su Han’s pen paused in midair.

“Hmm, I’m almost done.”

Su Ran: Really?

Had she not walked closer she wouldn’t even have noticed that Su Han had flipped to almost 2/3 point in the book. And, all the answers had already been filled out.

Most importantly, Su Ran didn’t know how his cellphone can still be on if he had been working on the problem sets this entire time.

“Oh, okay. Then you keep going. I’ll just sit here and watch you,” said Su Ran as she winked at Su Han. As she spoke, she casually sat down on the couch.

Hah, he tried to fool her? She wanted to see how long he could hold up his hand for.

Su Ran scooped up his cellphone into her hand. Sure enough, it’s still warm and the sweat mark on the back on the phone hasn’t even dried yet.

“What are you doing with my cellphone?” Su Han turned around and stared at Su Ran, looking anxious.

Did he forget to turn his cellphone off?
