Zagred's pain tolerance was pretty high as he was almost invulnerable.

The devil's main weakness was after all their hearts.

As long as their hearts would be destroyed, the devil would die.

But in the current scenario, Zagred couldn't heal himself and his magic was being devoured continuously by Alex's Domain.

Alex was also in a hurry since he could only use this domain for only one minute. This domain that he created was a bug-like ability but it also had its limit as after using the domain for a full minute, he would need a break of five minutes to recover his energy as it was very exhausting and taking quite a toll on his body.

Alex raised his hand and a magical light covered his palm.

Patolli who was standing behind felt an invisible power wrapping around his body and pulling him up. His body floated in the air and landed beside Alex who raised his sword toward the Elf.

"I want to kill all the Devils. But this one is your enemy so... here, take my sword and destroy his heart! Kill this bastard with your hands!"

Patolli trembled as he stared at Alex with a deep look. He couldn't believe that he would hand over the devil to him and let him kill the monster to relieve his hatred. He couldn't help but feel very grateful as he took the sword from Alex's hands.

Patolli glared at Zagred with hatred. 'Everything... everything that happened back then... This monster killed everyone!! Kill him! Kill him!... I WILL KILL HIM!!'

Patolli gritted his teeth and grabbed the sword hilt with both hands before thrusting the blade into the devil's torso, ripping it off.

"Stay away! You are just ants! How dare you kill me?!!" Zagred screamed loudly, his pupils shivering in fear for the first time.

But Patolli ignored his cries and raised the sword once more, piercing the heart thumping into the damaged body of the devil.

"Aaahhhh!!"

Zagred screamed loudly but to no avail as his body slowly disintegrated into pieces.

Alex put his hand over the devil's heart and devoured his 'Word Magic' before the devil completely disappeared.

Looking at the ashes floating in the air, Patolli closed his eyes as tears rolled down his cheeks.

'I have done it! I have killed the one responsible for that tragedy. I...'

Alex put his hand on the elf's shoulder and patted it. He took a deep breath and retreated back his domain to his shadow since it was quite taxing to keep it on for long.

*Swish!*

Just at that moment, the sound of the air breaking echoed and two parties arrived at the same time.

Alex glanced behind and smirked. "Sorry, Yami but you're late for the party!"

"Damn brat! Save some action for me next time." Yami took a deep breath and released a cloud of smoke. 'No wonder. I cannot feel the ominous mana anymore. He sure is fast! Haha...'

Yami was gloating over his luck that he was able to get someone like Alex into his team.

There was another person beside Yami. It was the captain of the Blue Roses who had been taken over by an Elf spirit named Charla.

She first looked at her tribe members and took a sigh of relief before her eyes moved to Alex. She couldn't help but feel her heart throbbing for no reason as her eyes landed on that familiar yet unfamiliar face.

'What is this feeling...? Why is this happening?... I... Is this girl perhaps...'

On the other hand, the other party also had two members.

One of them was a young man with blond hair and eyes that resembled magic stones. He was wearing a double-breasted, long-sleeved, white jacket with a high, dark-colored collar. The jacket extends below his waist and is trimmed with gold. He wears two belts on top of it, and his grimoire pouch hangs off the back of his dark-colored belt. He also wears white pants, white stockings, and black shoes. Over this, he wears a blue cape with white fur trim at his collar and a bronze-like cross pendant to enclose his cape.

But unlike a human, he resembled more of a statue covered with dust.

The second person was a short, slender woman with black hair in a bob style. Two locks of hair stuck up from the top of her head. She had dark bags under her eyes. She was wearing a black dress with thin straps and a short, ruffled skirt that resembled feathers. Also, she had two black horns on the sides of her head, particularly standing out.

"Hmm... where is that devil?" Lemiel Silvamillion Clover, the first Magic Emperor, looked around curiously but did not find his target. He then looked at the young men present in the place and asked Secre. "Oh they are..."

"They are the magic knights of the current era," Secre replied in her plain tone.

Alex finally caught sight of the First Wizard King and Secre Swallowtail, his assistant.

"Ahh, you guys are late, First Magic Emperor. The devil is dead! Maybe you guys should go upstairs and release Licht's soul."

His words attracted the attention of all the people. Yuno and Yami turned their attention to the people Alex was talking to, only to be left speechless.

They rubbed their eyes to make sure that they weren't hallucinating or seeing things.

Lemiel quickly realized the importance of Licht his brother-in-law and grabbed Secre, flying upwards. He glanced once more at Alex and muttered. "Who is that guy? Why does it feel like he knew we would come ?"

Lemiel was really curious as he had the feeling that Alex was much more than it seemed on the surface.

Secre took a deep look at Alex who was staring straight at her with a mysterious smile. She took a moment and replied.

"He is the strongest, most reliable, and yet a very mysterious and dangerous person!"

"Ohh!..." Lemiel was taken aback by such an introduction from his trusted aide.

He looked deeply at Secre and smiled. "It seems my Clover Kingdom has produced a pretty capable magic knight!"

'Just how much have I missed in these past 500 years... and, I have to ask something from that young man. That mana... that magic...'

"Your Highness," Secre called out to him, bringing him out of his thoughts. "We should focus our attention on your brother-in-law."

"Yeah, I know. Let's go!" Lemiel increased his speed and reached the upper room.

"Do your thing Secre." He asked Secre.
