My Hero Academia: The Legacy of Lost Numbers

Chapter 81: The Demons and Angels

Toshinori and Izana were relentlessly cutting through the demonic horde in the Demon World, their bodies and powers pushed to the limit.

Izana: *gritting his teeth* "Damn it, how many more demons are there? Can we even survive this?"

Toshinori: *with unwavering determination* "We have to, big brother. We don't have a choice!"

But suddenly, their souls were pulled into a strange, otherworldly place—an internal realm that seemed vast and endless.

Izana: *narrowing his eyes* "An internal test? Are you serious? We're fighting for our lives out here, and now this?"

Toshinori: *calmly* "If this is what we have to go through to unlock our true strength, then we'll face it head-on."

The air grew thick with power as two imposing figures emerged from the darkness, their presence overwhelming.

Sparda: *solemnly* "I am Sparda, the Dark Knight and your predecessor, Toshinori. My strength was passed to you, but you've only begun to tap into it."

Michael: *his voice carrying divine authority* "And I am Michael, the Archangel who bestowed my power upon you, Izana. You, too, have yet to unlock your full potential."

Izana: *defiantly* "So what exactly is this test? We're ready for anything."

Sparda: *with a cold, determined gaze* "To truly wield our powers, you must face us in battle. Only by defeating the strength we left within you can you fully awaken the rest of your abilities."

Toshinori: *with a steely resolve* "If that's what it takes, then let's get it over with. We don't have time to waste."

Michael: *nodding approvingly* "Impatience is natural, but real power requires focus and control. Show us that you possess not only the strength but the will to wield it."

Without warning, Sparda and Michael launched themselves into the attack. The very air trembled as their power surged, sending waves of destruction through the realm. Toshinori barely managed to dodge Sparda's sword, which slashed through the air with a devastating force, while Izana fought fiercely against Michael's rapid and divine strikes.

Sparda: *coldly* "Is this all you've got, Toshinori? Show me your fire!"

Michael: *tauntingly* "Izana, if you can't keep up, you'll always be left in the shadows. Prove that you deserve to stand among the strongest."

Toshinori: *gritting his teeth, his dark energy exploding outward* "I won't fall short of this challenge!"

Izana: *channeling divine light, his eyes glowing with determination* "We didn't come this far just to fail!"

The battle between the two pairs intensified, each clash of power shaking the very foundations of the realm. Toshinori and Izana were pushed to the edge, but they fought with every ounce of strength they had, refusing to back down.

Then, something shifted. Their energy began to surge, their powers unlocking in a way they had never experienced before. Their auras grew brighter, sharper, and more intense as they reached new heights of strength.

Sparda: *with a slight smile of satisfaction while looking at Toshinori* "Now, that's more like it. This is the power I passed on to you."

Michael: *nodding approvingly while looking at Izana* "You've proven yourselves worthy. Go now, and let your strength shine as a beacon against the darkness."

In a blinding flash, the test came to an end, and Toshinori and Izana found themselves back in the Demon World. But this time, they felt different—stronger, more complete.

Toshinori: *smirking, glancing at Izana* "Ready to finish this?"

Izana: *with a fierce grin* "Let's show them what we're really capable of."

With the last of the demons defeated, Toshinori and Izana took a moment to catch their breath, standing amidst the desolate remains of their battle.

Izana: *glancing around* "So, what's next?"

Toshinori: *thoughtfully* "Let's wait for Ken and Shoya. By now, they should have fully awakened their powers, just as we did."

Izana: *nodding in agreement* "You're right. With the four of us together, we can handle whatever this realm throws at us."

Toshinori: *smiling slightly* "Taking on All For One alone would be reckless, even for us. It's a good thing our father and the others are back in the Human World. It'll keep them safe while we handle things here."

They shared a determined look, knowing that the battles ahead would push them to their limits.

As Ken and Shoya prepared to leave, they paused at the sight of their sons, Shingen and Kaisen, standing before them with fierce determination.

Shingen: *looking at Shoya, eyes filled with resolve* "Dad, please, let us join the battle. We can handle it."

Kaisen: *turning to Ken, his voice steady but pleading* "The danger is too great, Dad. You don't have to face it alone."

Ken: *placing a reassuring hand on Kaisen's shoulder* "You both are incredibly strong, no doubt. We're proud of the warriors you've become."

Shoya: *meeting Shingen's gaze, his tone firm yet gentle* "But we also need someone to stay here, to assist the Top 3 Heroes. With Hawk and Izek on this side, we can trust you all to protect our world and keep everyone safe."

Shingen: *reluctantly nodding* "Understood, Dad. We won't let you down."

Kaisen: *determined* "We'll hold things down here, and make sure the Human World stays protected."

Ken and Shoya gave their sons one last nod, filled with pride and faith, before setting off. The battle ahead awaited, and they knew their sons would guard the world with unwavering resolve.

After leaving Shoya and Ken, Kaisen made his way home to deliver the news to his family. Upon entering, he found his grandfather Bakugo, his grandmother Camie, and his mother Shinwa waiting in the living room.

Kaisen: *taking a deep breath* "Grandpa, Grandma, Mom… Dad and Shoya have gone to fight in the Demon World. They didn't want you to worry."

As soon as he finished, Bakugo's face twisted into an annoyed scowl.

Bakugo: *gritting his teeth* "That idiot Ken! Charging off without telling me? He knows I've been wanting to go after All for One myself! If he thinks he's taking all the fun, he's got another thing coming!"

Camie: *wringing her hands, worry evident in her eyes* "Oh, no… this sounds dangerous, Kaisen. Are they going to be okay?"

Kaisen: nodding, trying to reassure her "Dad and Shoya are incredibly strong. They know what they're doing, and they'll have each other's backs."

Shinwa, however, was visibly angry, her arms crossed and gaze sharp.

Shinwa: sternly"Ken just left without a word, thinking he could handle it alone? Typical. I swear, when he comes back, he's going to get an earful from me."

Bakugo: *clenching his fists* "And from me too! I'm not missing out on this next round. We'll be ready here in case those idiots need backup."

Kaisen couldn't help but smile slightly at the mix of concern and determination from his family.

Shingen arrived at his home, his mind focused on the important task ahead. He walked through the door and found his grandmother Momo, his grandfather Shoto, and his mother Kaori sitting in the living room.

Shingen: taking a deep breath "Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, I need to talk to you. It's about Dad and the others."

Momo looked up first, her expression calm but concerned.

Momo: softly"What's happened, Shingen? You look troubled."

Shingen: *nodding, his voice steady but serious* "Dad, along with Ken, Shoya, and the others, have gone to fight in the Demon World. They're facing All for One there. I... I just wanted to let you know."

Shoto's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the news. His gaze shifted between Shingen and Kaori, sensing the tension in the room.

Shoto: quietly, but with authority "They've gone into the Demon World? This is dangerous, Shingen. Do they even realize what they're up against?"

Kaori's face tightened, her worry evident as she looked at Shingen.

Kaori: *voice trembling slightly* "Why didn't they tell us? We're supposed to be a family, not fighting these battles in the shadows!"

Shingen could sense his mother's frustration and fear. He understood her feelings well, but he had to remain strong for her, just as his father would.

Shingen: steadily "They didn't want us to worry. They think they can handle it, but they need us here on Earth, too. They trust us to keep the balance while they deal with the Demon World."

Momo, always the steady one, placed a hand on Shingen's shoulder.

Momo: calmly"They're strong, Shingen. All of them. And we'll be strong too. But I don't like them taking such risks without preparation or backup."

Shoto: *gritting his teeth* "Ken and Shoya… They've always been reckless. We'll have to make sure we're ready here, in case they need help. The others can't fight All for One alone."

Shingen nodded, knowing that his grandparents and mother were strong, but also knowing they would be worried every second their loved ones were in the Demon World. He had to assure them that everything would be alright and that they'd be ready for whatever came next.
