Chapter 80: Plan to Move
Toshinori took a deep breath, looking up at the ominous portal still swirling above them.
Toshinori: "This portal isn't going to close itself, and if it stays open, there's no telling what else might come through. Someone has to go in and shut it down from the other side."
Ellen: stepping in front of him, her voice firm "Absolutely not, Toshinori. It's too dangerous. You just got back, and I won't risk losing you again."
Izana: placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder "Ellen, I'll be going with him. Together, we can handle whatever's on the other side. You know neither of us would go into this unprepared."
Eva: frowning, crossing her arms "I don't like this idea at all. You both barely made it through this battle. What if this is a trap? What if something happens to either of you?"
Toshinori glanced at Izana, a determined look in his eyes as he spoke, hoping to reassure them.
Toshinori: "Ellen, Eva, we won't be gone long. We know our limits, and we're stronger together. If anyone can close that portal, it's the two of us. Just… trust us on this."
Ellen's grip on Toshinori's arm tightened, her eyes flashing with worry, but she could see the resolve in his face.
Ellen: softly "Just… promise me you'll come back. I can't lose you again, Toshinori."
Eva: sighing, her gaze meeting Izana's "You're both infuriatingly stubborn, you know that? But fine. Just make sure you actually come back in one piece, alright?"
Izana: smiling gently "You have my word, Eva. We'll be back before you know it."
The two women shared one last look of reluctant acceptance before letting go.
With a final nod, Toshinori and Izana stepped forward, gazing into the depths of the dark portal as it twisted and pulsed.
Toshinori: grinning back at their wives "We'll see you soon. Just keep things in order here until we're back."
After a tense few minutes, the swirling portal finally began to contract, the edges curling inward as dark energy pulsed, shrinking until it was just a faint shimmer in the sky. With a final flash, the portal closed, sealing Toshinori and Izana on the other side.
Ellen and Eva stood in silence, eyes locked on the spot where the portal had been moments before, feeling a mix of relief and dread.
Ellen: taking a deep breath, her voice barely above a whisper "They're really gone… but they'll be back. They have to."
Eva: placing a comforting hand on Ellen's shoulder "They promised, and they're stronger together. We just need to have faith that they'll find a way."
As the air settled around them, the remnants of the battle still smoldering on the streets of Paris, Ellen and Eva exchanged a glance. They could still feel the echoes of their husbands' power resonating in the air, a faint reassurance that they were out there, fighting to return.
Ellen: sighing, her eyes determined "Then we prepare. If they're facing the Demon World, they'll need us ready here when they get back."
Eva: nodding with resolve "Agreed. Let's make sure this world is secure for their return."
Ellen and Eva turned away from the closed portal, ready to protect everything Toshinori and Izana had fought for and to prepare for the inevitable battles that lay ahead.
After returning home, Ellen and Eva explained everything to Izuku.
Izuku: "I understand. But don't worry, you two."
Ochaco: "Exactly. They're strong, and they've got this. For now, let's focus on preparing for whatever comes next."
Hawk let out a sigh and quietly left the hall. In his room, he sat at his desk, poring over some documents when Izek suddenly appeared in the doorway.
Izek: "So, big brother, what are you planning?"
Hawk: "With our dads in the Demon World, it's up to us to ensure everything is secure on this side."
Izek: eyes widening "Are you thinking of…?"
Hawk: nodding with determination "Yes, I'm going to expose Diego and make sure our mothers receive the recognition and rights they deserve as the true Queens of Russia."
Hawk and Izek sat down together, spreading maps and documents across the table. The moonlight streaming through the window cast a silvery glow over the room as they began to strategize.
Hawk: "First, we need solid evidence. Diego has kept his actions hidden for years. If we're going to expose him, we need undeniable proof."
Izek: nodding "Agreed. We can't just confront him outright. He's too powerful and well-connected. We'll need allies, and we'll have to be careful not to put our mothers in danger."
Hawk: "Exactly. I have some leads on people who worked closely with him. If we can get them to talk, we'll have a starting point. We also need to dig into any secret records he might be keeping."
Izek: smirking "Good thing my mother taught me a few tricks. I can handle some covert operations and gather intel from his inner circle."
Hawk: meeting Izek's eyes with a determined look "Then it's settled. We gather evidence, build our case, and make sure when we confront him, it's on our terms. We'll do this for our fathers, for our mothers, and for the future of Russia."
Hawk and Izek exchanged a knowing glance.
Hawk: "We're going to need more help if we want to pull this off. Kaisen and Shingen have the skills and influence to make this operation a success, but we need to keep it under the radar."
Izek: leaning back thoughtfully "Agreed. We can't afford to let Diego catch wind of this. We'll reach out to Kaisen and Shingen discreetly. They'll understand the importance of secrecy."
Hawk: "I'll draft an encrypted message that only they'll be able to decipher. We can arrange a meeting at a secure location where no one will suspect a thing."
Izek: smiling "Perfect. With their abilities and connections, we'll be able to gather the evidence and maintain our cover. We just need to ensure that not even a whisper of this reaches Diego's ears."
Hawk nodded, a determined glint in his eyes. "This has to work. For our mothers, and for the future that our fathers fought to protect."
Ken and Shoya stood side by side, their expressions hardened as they received the news about Toshinori and Izana.
Ken: smirking "Looks like our brothers are on the move. If they're diving into this, it means things are about to get intense."
Shoya: nodding, cracking his knuckles "This is the perfect chance to join them. With Toshinori and Izana unlocking their full power, we need to be there. We can't let them have all the fun—or the danger."
Ken: chuckles "Exactly. Besides, if All For One is plotting something, he won't be expecting the four of us together at full strength. This is our opportunity to strike and make sure he never threatens our families again."
Shoya: with a fierce grin "Then let's not waste time. We'll find them and join the battle before it's too late."
With a shared glance of determination, the two of them prepared for their journey. The air seemed to crackle with anticipation as they set off, knowing that the reunion of their combined strength would send shockwaves through the world—and a clear warning to their enemies.
