Mobuseka:Leon's Adventure

Chapter 24: Announcement

Hello everyone!

I'd like to address some questions that many of you have been asking. This issue started almost from the very beginning. A lot of readers dropped the story after the second chapter. You can see this in the Reviews section — nearly all the low ratings came from those who didn't get past chapter two.

At first, I tried to ignore it, but as the number of such reviews grew, it started bothering me. I didn't want to spoil anything I had planned right from the start, but to address the issue, I'll answer some of your questions.

---

The most common question: Why add two Leons?

There are a few reasons for this.

1. My desire to write a Mobuseka fanfic that reaches the end.

Initially, I just wanted to read fanfics about this novel. However, there are very few of them. The ones that exist are often abandoned after 5–20 chapters, or they completely remove Leon from the story.

Honestly, I hate it when fanfics replace the main character with someone else and then the project is dropped. So, I decided to write my own fanfic and make sure I finish it.

When I started developing the plot, I wondered what to do with Leon as a character. Turning him into a suave ladies' man who isn't afraid to kill and can charm women instantly wasn't an option — it would've felt unrealistic.

2. Inspiration from a manga.

One day, I read the manga Reincarnation and Personality Disorder. I loved the idea of two or more personalities in one body. That's how the idea of a second Leon was born. I wanted my story to stand out, and based on some reviews, it seems I succeeded.

So why two Leons?

Firstly, for comedic reasons.

I'm a big fan of comedy. After reading the manga, I thought I could create something amusing with this idea. You can see how I've often tried to create funny situations between the two Leons.

Honestly, I thought my jokes were mediocre, but surprisingly, many people enjoyed them. That motivated me to include humor more frequently. I even started watching more comedy content to find ideas that fit the story.

Secondly, to improve Leon's character.

The original Leon is indecisive, and this trait often frustrated me in the novel. Adding a second personality made him more confident. The second Leon has experience, and I wanted him to take action earlier, even before the Gertrude arc.

Thirdly, because the second Leon can kill.

The original Leon couldn't kill, which limited his character in many ways. The second Leon, being a soldier, doesn't have this limitation. That said, I made it clear that he's kind by nature, despite his ability to kill. He doesn't spare everyone, but his actions are fair.

A minor spoiler: the second Leon will kill Zola.

Won't this feel like NTR?

This was a question someone asked in the comments. At the time, I replied that there was a solution, but it would happen later in the story. However, since many readers were dropping the story and the number of low ratings was rising, I decided to implement the solution earlier.

Before Leon enters the university, the two Leons will merge into one. Their souls and memories will combine, so there won't be any issues with NTR or similar themes in my story.

That's all for now!

I'll release the next chapter in 5–10 hours. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. I'll try not to spoil anything but will share a little about what's coming in the future!
