Chapter 808: Chapter 807 "Farewell Gifts"

There was a small black cat head on the stick in Patience's hand, and a small bat head on the stick in Bruce's hand.

"What is this for?" Patience waved the stick in her hand, puzzled by its short length, seemingly unsuitable for combat.

"I don't know myself. Seems like a toy to remember him by," Bruce touched the stick in his hand, finding no hidden buttons, and concluded it was merely a decoration.

"There is no way Jerry is going to leave us a simple toy. Come on, Bruce! you should know him better at this point..." Patience sighed while still examining the gift from Jerry.

Jerry seemed to have an epiphany. A mischievous grin played on his lips as he began to explain, "In fact, this is a magic wand I made for you. By chanting the spell, you can transform into various styles of battle clothes according to your imagination, and even attach basic weapons. These battle clothes are created using magic energy, so they're virtually weightless and offer excellent defense. Generally speaking, they can withstand most attacks, although if the energy is depleted, it will take a day to recharge."

The two magic sticks were simple creations by Jerry, drawing from principles found in various magical worlds like Fairy Tail, Harry Potter, and Cardcaptor Sakuta.

The holder didn't require any magical abilities; the wand could absorb magic from the air. All the user needed to do was recite the spell to activate it.

If they manage to chant a flashy spell, then it would grant them powers to fight against their enemies.

It was Jerry's parting gift, satisfying his mischievous streak. Seeing the two of them clueless of his presents while curiously examining it, Jerry couldn't hold back his excitement when he imagined how silly they are going to look, chanting the spells he already prepared for them.

After listening to Jerry's description, Patience and Bruce's eyes lit up.

"I told you! Jerry is leaving us more than just a toy; in fact, this is a gift that will greatly help us!" Patience exclaimed delightedly.

With such a magic wand, they don't have to change clothes so troublesomely in the future, and the safety level is greatly improved when they are going to the battlefield without the need of concern to change clothes.

"What is the spell?" Bruce inquired with eyes filled with curiosity.

"You two have different ones, come, follow me." Jerry coughed after hearing Bruce's question, then pointed at Patience with his tail and read loudly: "Lalala Energy, Hooray, Magical Fairy Transform!"

Patience raised the cat head stick and imitated it: "Lalala Energy, Hooray, Magical Fairy Transform!"

In an instant, a colorful energy emanated from the stick, enveloping Patience. In a flash, her blanket disappeared, replaced by her signature black leather Catwoman attire, with the stick transforming into a whip.

"This is fascinating!" Patience exclaimed while hopping in excitement, twirling the whip with the curiosity of a kitten exploring something new.

"If you wish to change back, simply chant the spell again and concentrate on your desired form. For different outfits or weapons, visualize them while chanting. Remember not to hesitate during transformation, or you may end up naked if it fails," Jerry cautioned with a smug smile.

As if on cue, Patience inadvertently transformed back to her naked form mid-explanation.

"So that's it, I just wanted to change into a set of jeans, but when I transformed, I thought it would be better to change into a long skirt," Patience explained, recasting the spell to manifest a black long skirt.

"What's the spell of my magic wand?" Bruce looked at Patience changing her clothes while still holding the bat-headed stick, his face showing great interest in the magical wand after seeing what it has done for Patience.

Jerry was looking forward at this moment as from the first time ever since he planned to gift them these wands, he truly wants to see the cold, stoic Bruce Wayne to chant his spell which will bring him joy.

Jerry grinned and instructed, "Come on, repeat after me, Bruce! Dark Lord Gunara grant me the power, Uhurahu, Dark Devil Transformation!"

"Dark Lord Gunara grant me the power, Uhurahu, Dark Devil Transformation!" Bruce echoed, raising the magic wand in his hand and chanting loudly.

In an instant, after a burst of black light, Batman emerged in the room, clad in his iconic bat suit and armed with a bat dart.

"Remember to bite your finger and drip a drop of blood on the transformation wand later, so that others will not use them, and only you and your descendants can use them," Jerry advised before disappearing with a teleport.

"It's quite interesting, but it's a pity that there are also beautiful girl animations in this world, otherwise they will be given a prism power transformation spell, which will be more interesting to see," Jerry mused as he teleported back to Metropolis, resuming his human form using Animagus magic and finding temporary lodging in a hotel.

Jerry imagined Batman suddenly transformed magically into one of those outfit from the Cardcaptor Sakura, he burst out laughing seeing the picture of Bruce turning into an anime-like boy with his newly found power.

Following the normal timeline, once Superman initiates the exploration spacecraft, General Zod and the other Kryptonians will receive the corresponding signal in the universe, leading them to Earth. Therefore, it would take a few days for the Kryptonian spacecraft to land over Metropolis.

Jerry decided to wait in Metropolis, prepared to confront the impending threat posed by the Kryptonians. Despite their low resistance to magic, defeating them entirely would prove challenging in Jerry's current state, especially General Zod, whose formidable combat skills made him a formidable adversary.

Because in the original story, even Superman is going to have a hard time facing against General Zod in the first place.

Furthermore, Jerry aimed to minimize casualties and losses in Metropolis, prioritizing the safety of its citizens.

Which will lead to a safe conclusion that the future of Batman Versus Superman won't happen, because the casualties left by Superman's fight is the reason why Batman wants to stop Superman.

A week passed swiftly, during which Jerry meticulously arranged magic defense runes throughout Metropolis, ensuring the city's protection against the impending Kryptonian invasion. These pre-prepared defenses would shield the city from harm without depleting Jerry's magical reserves or diverting his focus during battle.

Aware of the Kryptonians' superhuman abilities, Jerry recognized the importance of avoiding close combat and instead relied on his expertise in long-distance casting and strategic fighting.

With his proficiency in space and time magic, he could effectively evade attacks and maintain a safe distance from his adversaries.

Still he needed to calculate other variables as well to fully get a satisfactory result so little to no casualties will be resulted in this otherworldly fight between them.

In the face of the impending conflict with the Kryptonians, Jerry remained confident in his abilities and strategic preparations, ready to defend Metropolis and help Superman against any threat that may arise.

With this, Jerry easily killed two birds with one stone. Stopping the Kryptonians, all the while earning red stars as the result of his benevolent acts.
