Tearing open the envelope, his eyes widened as he read its contents.

A commission to construct a high-quality void gallery, priced at an astounding ten million spiritual crystals—a job that could net him at least two million in profit. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and architects were competing fiercely for it.

Determined, Ulbert quickly summoned a spirit realm courier, entering the spirit world to travel instantly. A spirit carriage soon appeared, allowing Ulbert to cross the thousand-mile distance between Coral City and Blazing Shadow City in just half an hour. He was ready to fight for the commission.

Rosen sat in front of several design blueprints, carefully evaluating which one best suited his needs. His high-paying commission had attracted bids from architects of various Sequences, all eager to secure the prestigious project.

Rosen narrowed his choices down to the Sequence 6 and Sequence 5 architects, eliminating the lower-tier options. After hours of deliberation, he selected Ulbert, a Sequence 6 architect, whose design for the void gallery impressed him the most. Though Sequence 5 architects usually held the advantage, Ulbert's specialization in void gallery construction gave him the edge.

Rosen burned Ulbert's chosen blueprint as a signal of acceptance and waited for the architect's arrival.

Word quickly spread through the Architects' Guild, and a thrilled Ulbert soon came to visit Rosen.

Seeing a Sequence 6 architect sitting respectfully before him, Rosen couldn't help but acknowledge the power of money.

"How soon can we begin construction?" Rosen asked directly.

"Ten days for preparation, and about a month to complete the build. We'll need eight million spiritual crystals upfront for the materials," Ulbert replied.

"Let's sign the contract."

With both parties in agreement, Ulbert produced a standard guild contract. After the signatures were placed, Ulbert departed with 80 mid-grade spiritual crystals to begin preparations. Rosen had no concerns about the deal—the Architects' Guild would assume full responsibility for any issues.

The next ten days passed swiftly, with Rosen engrossed in studying the Void Gallery Construction Method.

On the 11th day, Ulbert invited Rosen to the guild's construction site. Upon arriving, Rosen saw a team of Sequence 9 architects, sculptors, and a Sequence 6 doctor busily preparing for the project.

After a brief groundbreaking ceremony, Ulbert and the doctor approached Rosen.

The doctor, opening a medical space, instructed Rosen to lie down on a surgical table, where the real work began.

Under complete anesthesia, the doctor carefully harvested materials from Rosen's body. Starting with his skull, the doctor removed bones and used supernatural medical techniques to regenerate new ones. The bones were planted in a cloning medical pod, where they grew into a bone tree, sprouting new bones for use in construction.

The team immediately set to work, harvesting these bones and refining them into materials. Skin flaying followed, cultivating a skin tree, and finally, blood was drained to grow a blood tree. Once these three trees—bone, skin, and blood—were fully matured, the doctor collected his payment and left.

Rosen, though shaken by the process, had no choice but to endure. Despite not feeling pain due to the anesthesia, watching his body get dismantled and regrown left a lasting impression. But there was no turning back; this was the design Rosen had chosen.

The void gallery was constructed from Rosen's bones, with blood as the paint and skin as the outer covering. This design would create a gallery that felt like an extension of his body, growing with him as his Sequence advanced.

After twenty days, the core structure of the void gallery was complete.

Rosen stood before a giant skull, spanning 100 square meters. The skull, crafted from countless interlocking bones, burned with blood flames and radiated terrifying energy. Even though the gallery was unfinished, Rosen felt a deep connection to it, as if it were an integral part of him.

With a thought, Rosen commanded the skull's mouth to open. Blood flames poured out, enveloping both Rosen and Ulbert, pulling them inside the gallery.

The gallery had two main sections: the core studio and the outer labyrinth.

The studio was designed for safety and creation, while the labyrinth focused on defense, entrapment, and enemy extermination.

Inside the studio, the floor was paved with bones, and the walls were covered with smooth, supple skin. The gallery spanned three floors, with over 1,000 square meters of usable space.

The labyrinth's walls were lined with bone frames, each one capable of holding Rosen's spiritual paintings. The more paintings stored, the stronger the labyrinth became. Even without any paintings yet, the construction quality was so high that it could easily trap and kill Sequence 7 enemies.

For the next ten days, Rosen worked alongside Ulbert, infusing his spiritual energy into the runes inscribed on every bone used in the gallery. This was necessary for Rosen to fully activate the architectural runes and take complete control over the gallery.

With Ulbert's assistance, Rosen completed the final refinements.

Finally, after paying the remainder of the balance, Rosen returned to his pocket spirit realm at the Artist's Guild, eager to continue his work.
