"What's wrong?" Stasis and Vinete are confused and looked at the floating Taichi Sword. 

After not hearing an answer, they decided to just scrutinize the chains around their master to find something. 

Unfortunately, they were unable to find anything wrong, or at least, they are still lacking in experience and couldn't tell that something was not right.

"Hmm… It's dangerous to touch the chains directly. I'm not good with this… Perhaps, we have to wait for the others. Dingxiang should be good with this."

Luoyang suddenly said. 

"I understand. However, is that chain cursed or perhaps poisoned?" Stasis asked as he slowly stepped back.

They just fought against an Assassin after all. They are known to use all kinds of evil things just to kill their targets.

"How about the Arcanist tied down here, Sir Luoyang? Do you sense any issues from them?"

Stasis asked as he was planning to ask these people about the real situation here in the village. 

"Hmm… They are bound by a magical item. However, I can't feel malicious energy coming from it. It seems that it is a common item that could suppress anyone who is bounded by those chains. It's a lot weaker than the chain bound to Reiji." Luoyang said after appraising the chains tying on those poor Arcanists.

"I see… Vinete, do you remember what the Dark Elf said about these people?"

"Yeah… He mentioned that this is a batch of Arcanists sent by the Tower to them. The scariest thing is that they seem to be planning to create a Sentient Arcana out of these people." Vinete shuddered after saying those words. 

After all, if that is the truth, it will greatly change their view about the Arcana, especially the Sentient ones!

Stasis and Vinete then unconsciously looked at the floating Taichi Sword in front of them.

"Hey, I know what you guys are thinking. Unfortunately, I'm not an Artificial Sentient Arcana. I'm a genuine one. Haha…"

Luoyang said as he couldn't help but chuckle after seeing their pitiful gaze at him.

They are probably thinking that he was also previously a human Arcanist that was turned into a Sentient Arcana. 

"I-is that so? You know that we won't change our view if we know the truth, right? We will still treat you like a friend even if you have such a past. You don't have to worry about it."

Vinete said full of care.

"Haha… Really! I'm not a human turned into this. I just gained Sentient since I'm strong and I deserve it." Luoyang said as he decided to just look around the room.

The place is actually filled with random Arcana and they seem to be items that will be used to contain the consciousness of the human Arcanists. 

"Should we try freeing these people?" Stasis asked.

Honestly, he felt bad about them but he didn't dare to just randomly save them like a hero since they are humans. They are someone who hates half-imps like them and would normally be killed or turned into a slave is seen by these people.

With that in mind, he didn't rashly make a decision and asked for the two's opinions.

Right now, there are only 6 human Arcanists that are still alive.

These six should be able to answer their questions…

"The battle is still not over. I think we should help the others first. Sir Luoyang, can I leave this place to you?" Stasis said as he glanced at the sword. 

"Alright… I can create a simple array to protect us here."

"Great. Vinete, please try to help Mourad and others outside. I'll check out Diether and Stella's situation."

"Got it…"

Vinete said as she activated her Silent Steps and Phantom Dash and rushed outside. 

On the other hand, Luoyang started to slowly approach Reiji.
