What a crazy woman
- My Pov -
I went outside into the courtyard as I waited for Historia, who was still in the bathroom. I tried to catch a glimpse of Alma as she was still sitting on the large tree earlier and reading the book she was holding in her hand.
Oh, yes, if you ask where Milch is, she is not far from here watching me. Even from this house, I can see her figure standing at the far end of the field with her eyes looking this way.
It would appear that after I gave Milch a stern look earlier, she realized she had made a mistake, and now she can do nothing more than watch from a distance as I carry out my scheme.
"Actually, I'm still unsure whether or not to approach Alma, but fuck it, huh?"
After making up my mind, I casually walked over to Alma, who was still intent on what she was reading.
Being right behind her, I raised my eyebrows in a bit of surprise while saying to myself, 'Looks like Rod Reiss has good taste.'
Even though I can't get a good look at the side characters in the Attack on Titan anime and manga, I was a little taken aback when I saw Alma in person because she apparently has an attractive appearance.
She had bright brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair with bangs that brushed just past her eyebrows. Her body is also slim with a plump butt, but her breasts are not as large as Milch's.
"What are you reading?"
Alma was startled when she heard my voice suddenly appear behind her. Her body even trembled a little bit. However, after that, she just remained silent and didn't say anything. She didn't even try to look back at me.
"I've heard that you're Historia's mother. Is that true?"
Alma remained silent and did not want to answer my question, but despite this, I could see that the hand that was holding the book was tightly clenched.
It was just at that moment that a gust of cool wind blew past the two of us, making Alma's hair and pages messy. Finally, I posed another sufficient question to make Alma turn to face me.
"I also heard that you are the wife of Rod Reiss."
"I am not his wife," Alma then said with a cold voice and expressionless face while she was straightening her hair, which was covering her face.
But before Alma turned around and ignored me once more, I then said, "Oh, I am so sorry. I forgot that you are his mistress, right?" with a slight smirk on my face while trying to see the expression on her face, which was slowly changing slightly.
"Did that damn girl spill the beans to you about all this?" When Alma said that, I could clearly see the anger on her face. However, I responded to her curiosity with a pleasant smile, but I also provided her with a fact.
"You mean Historia? Do you think that girl knows about a secret only you and Rod Reiss know?"
After I had given her my response, Alma changed her expression to one of caution, and I noticed that whenever she looked at me, she had a menacing glint in her eyes.
But I don't mind it. In fact, I find it funny because this woman named Alma really does have a miserable life right up until the end of her life.
Even when 'Kenny the Ripper' wanted to slit her throat, this woman was still stubborn until the very end. Yes, it can't be helped. She becomes a side character who serves no purpose anymore for the development of Historia's character.
"I believe that this woman's mind is severely damaged at this point," I mumbled something softly while heaving a sigh, but after that, a broad smile slowly appeared on my face, and at the same time, a peculiar glint of light appeared in my crimson eyes.
"Since she seems to have completely lost her mind, I suppose that'll make things simpler for me as well."
"What did you say?" When Alma overheard me babbling, she asked me a question, but I was trying to change the subject at the time.
"If Historia is not your child, then why do you despise her so much?"
At the very least, I wanted to find out if I could easily raise the status points of someone like Alma against me. Of course, what I'm saying is just idle chatter.
"Huh... That cursed kid, there's no way she could possibly be my child, isn't that obvious!" Alma said in a cynical tone while showing a big smile, or you could say a crazy smile.
To tell you the truth, the drama that this woman made was very boring for me.
Even though I have a good idea as to why Alma has such a deep-seated hatred for Historia, I still want to do what I can to ensure that she at least does not die in vain and be of use to me.
"Aren't you afraid to die?"
After hearing my odd question, Alma's expression reverted to its usual blankness almost immediately. However, she continued to respond to my inquiry.
"I don't know anymore, but clearly, all of this is the damned kid's fault."
"If it were only... if only that cursed kid had never been born..."
"Yeah, wouldn't it be better if she just died..."
"hey..."
"You agree with me right..."
"Ahh... dammit, why did I have to be the one who had to go through all of this?"
"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha."
I could sense that Alma, who was sitting right in front of me at this very moment, was emanating an extremely dark aura, and even the words that came out of her mouth were extremely menacing.
"What a crazy woman," I remarked with a broad grin on my face as I listened to her rant.
Alma looked at me while maintaining her crazy face and asked, "What did you just say?" She even started to stand up and began slowly walking in my direction. "What did you just say?"
Alma's brown hair, which was shoulder-length and blown by the wind as she walked slowly toward me, added an ominous impression that could frighten away regular people, but I wasn't overly impressed by her appearance.
I then said something that caused Alma to pause in place, looking a little bit surprised, while her icy brown eyes continued to stare at me. "Say it one more time..." she continued to demand.
"I am able to assist you in avoiding such a pitiful end."
"How can a little kid like you help me?" But after that, Alma inquired with caution, but I also noticed that she had a condescending expression on her face.
Even after I had listened to Alma's reasonable question, my face continued to project an air of strong confidence.
But then I reached into my pocket and pulled something out. When I looked down at what I had in my hand, I saw a gold pendant engraved with a symbol of a woman and a wall engraved in it.
"I'm sure you know what I'm holding in my hand, aren't you?"
