I Became the Fiancé of a Crazy Heroine

Chapter 10-2

Adelaira, the Duke’s mansion, Harnett’s room.

Sion entered the room supporting Hanette.

At first, Hannet seemed to walk well, but soon she stumbled, and Sion had to catch her.

Yenid glanced at the drunken Hanette from far, but only checked her condition briefly before quietly passing by.

“Ugh, I’m sleepy.”

“You’re sleepy at a time like this? Geez…”

Sion signed as he laid Hannet on the bed.

Hannet found the blanket by herself and quickly covered herself.

“Are you sure you’re just drunk? You seem to be pretending.”

“Then you should’ve just left me behind.”

“What do you think will happen to me if I leave my sister?”

“Then, I’ll take you with me. Hehehe.”

Hannet laughed happily and closed her eyes.

Sion chuckled and turned away.

They had returned to the mansion, so the maids could take care of the rest.

“Ah, wait a minute.”

Hanette seemed to realize something and grabbed Sion’s hand.

Sion frowned and turned his head slightly.

“Why again?”

“You guys go out.”

As Hannet gave the order, the maids who were inside quickly disappeared.

Sion tried to use force on his hand, but eventually approached the bed.

“What do you want to talk about?”

“Come closer.”

“Just say it from there.”

“Ah, don’t be like that.”

Hannet didn’t let go of his hand.

Sion sighed and reluctantly bent his waist.

It felt like the smell of alcohol and a faint perfume were lingering in his nose.

“Can you tell me now?”

“… I had a good idea.”

“What idea?”

“Just stay here a little longer with me.”

“Why?”

“Then we can do something together, like tricking my father and mother. Isn’t it fun? Hehehe.”

For the first time, Hannet smiled brightly and showed a relaxed look in her eyes.

Sion looked at her as if she was pitiful, but still felt a little curious.

“Trick them by deceiving two people? What do we gain from that?”

“A petty revenge? A small sense of satisfaction? Just unexpected fun?”

“You’re trying to make me a bad person. I want to live a good life.”

“Oh, and one more thing. You can gain my trust. It may not be much, but do your best.”

Hannet spreads her fingers and bends them slightly, while Sion slowly rises with a disappointed expression.

“If I don’t do it, You’ll say come up with something more ridiculous.”

“We agreed to cooperate. We have to keep our promise.”

“Well, the sun is setting… I’ll join you for a while.”

After a brief thought, Sion quickly moves on.

He locks the door first, unfolds the curtain to cover the window completely, and finally brings a chair to place it next to the bed.

“Is it thorough enough?”

“It has to be. If we make any noise, it’ll really seem like we’ve done something wrong, so we have to stay quiet.”

“Hehehe… then I have to help too.”

Hannet pulls off the blanket and quickly unbuttons her suit.

Seeing this, Sion grabs Hannet’s hand in surprise.

“What are you doing?”

“If we are doint it, we have to show the evidence.”

“….let’s just do it moderately. We only have to make them suspicious.”

“Oh, is that so?”

Hannet throws her jacket over and touches her shirt.

She only unbuttons a few buttons on the collar and lifts the blanket again.

“Is it over now?”

“Ugh…let’s talk about something else.”

“Why? Are you a little excited?”

“It’s not excitement, it’s making me sick.”

“Isn’t it exciting enough to make your heart flutter?”

“I’m not excited at all, so just be quiet.”

“Do you want to see once? And then after seeing it…”

Hannet puts her finger back on the edge of her shirt.

At the same time, Sion grabs Hannett’s hand.

“What are you mean by ‘See’?”

“Is there anything wrong with looking?”

“You’ll regret it when you wake up.”

“Hmm…is that so?”

Hannet looks up at Sion, removing her from her skirt.

Sion finally lets go of Hannett’s hand and sits on the chair.

“How long are you going to stay here?”

“Until my sister falls asleep.”

“You’re going to stay up all night?”

“I’ll leave when it’s time, so just be quiet and sleep.”

“I’ll try my best. Ugh…”

Hannett yawns and slowly closes her eyes.

Sion, feeling tired, belatedly, stretches out his arms.

What’s that.?.. Did she fall asleep right after speaking?’

Sion puts his hand on the tip of Hannett’s nose to check her breathing and confirms that she has fallen asleep.

They had only been to the pub, but how could she be this tired?

‘I wonder why I’m doing this. She’s such a high-maintenance fiancé.’

Adelaide’s mansion, the guest room.

Robbins and Yenid received news from a maid that they had been waiting for.

Sion had entered Hannett’s room and had not come out yet. This was a good sign, and it could lead to the result they had been hoping for.

“I told you so. It was just a matter of leaving them alone.”

“… We still don’t know for sure. Don’t you think it’s possible that they’re just talking to each other?”

Yenid sensed that possibility intuitively.

Hanette was not likely to easily accept Sion’s existence. Even nobles themselves were not allowed to approach her until just after their engagement. How could someone who had just gotten engaged be allowed to be so close to her?

“But it’s already a good thing. Hannett, who never allows a man near her, but she allowed a man in her room now. That too in night. Didn’t it go as we wanted.?”

“Still, shouldn’t we keep watching a little more?”

“If it’s certain, we can just marry them right away. Even Lord Marquis Laird agreed to it.”
