I Am Fugaku Uchiha

Chapter 130: Did He did It?

Jiraiya balanced precariously on Gamabunta's massive head, his solemn expression mirroring the colossal monster glaring back at them.

Satori, a monstrous creature with imposing wings, descended onto the box with a resounding thud, sealing any hope of escape.

"In this box, there's no way out, no way to demolish it. It's a void of darkness and silence, filled only with a profound, ominous emotion that engulfs my entire being," Satori explained. "It numbs me, offering temporary relief from the pain. But all of it will vanish when I slay my brother."

Satori's wicked grin spread as she gloated, "Hehehe, nothing can stand in my way now. This feeling is intoxicating."

With a menacing swipe, she deftly blocked Gamabunta's sword with his razor-sharp claws.

"Bunta! Oil!" Jiraiya shouted.

"Oh!" Gamabunta responded, leaping back with remarkable agility. and Jiraiya took a deep breath in unison.

“Fire escape: Toad oil flame bomb!”

"Fire Escape: Toad Oil Flame Bomb!" they exclaimed together, combining their unique ninjutsu skills. The resulting explosion, fueled by Bunta's oil and Jiraiya's fire escape technique, created a formidable fire escape bomb. While individually a B-rank technique, the addition of toad oil elevated it to a level just shy of an A-rank.

Yet Satori emerged unscathed, her resilience unmatched.

"Damn, I still can't land a hit on him."

Jiraiya muttered, frustration etched across his face. The battle against the monstrous foe seemed far from over as they faced the unyielding Satori and his malevolent intentions.

-------------

Fugaku found himself confined within an isolated and unfamiliar space, a realization that left him scratching his head in despair.

"A rookie mistake," he muttered, his frustration evident.

Despite his prowess in handling one-tailed and nine-tailed beasts effortlessly, he now found himself trapped and alone. The absence of any living being compounded his predicament, casting a sense of hopelessness over him.

In the engulfing darkness, negative emotions, including fear, anger, and sadness, began to corrode Fugaku's mind. Determined to resist, he coldly snorted and, with a strong will, took a deep breath to calm himself.

"Fortunately, my strong will can resist negative emotions; otherwise, I would lose myself."

As Fugaku's Sharingan eyes scanned the darkness, he discovered prisoners within, both living and dead. Among them was a thin man who had provided him with crucial information, now reduced to a zombie-like state.

Fugaku contemplated, "So this is how negative emotions erode them? Am I sealed?"

His conclusion startled him, but after careful consideration, he dismissed the notion. If Satori could leave after his will had been eroded, and those who had been eroded could also leave, then he should be able to as well.

He punched the ground and attempted to break free, causing ripples that ultimately settled.

"Sure enough, it doesn't work." Fugaku sighed. "Let's try this."

Gathering lightning in his right hand and flickering twice before disappearing, Fugaku realized he had found something interesting. He then made his hand seal, "Fire Escape: Fireball Technique."

Fireball flicker then disappears, and he tries to utilize wind style, earth style, and water style, only to discover that the five elements were ineffective in this space.

"Can I truly escape after being eroded by this place?"

Determined to find a way out, Fugaku contemplated the role of negative emotions. Could he use them to evolve his Sharingan and gain a spatial ability, eliminating the need to search for an exit?

He entertained the idea that this predicament might be a blessing in disguise.

With a newfound sense of purpose, Fugaku focused on stimulating his spiritual power, cautiously navigating the delicate balance between harnessing negative emotions and preventing them from overwhelming him.

---------------

A thunderous bang echoed through the castle as the toad crashed violently into the ground.

"Bunta! Damn..." Jiraiya's frustrated. Clenching his teeth, he swiftly formed hand seals and sprinted toward the injured Gamabunta.

The mighty toad bore the scars of battle, appearing as though it had been seared.

Witnessing Jiraiya's approach, Gamabunta, feeling the weight of his injuries, reluctantly stood up. He addressed Jiraiya with a sense of resignation: "Jiraiya, I can't fight anymore. I am leaving."

Without waiting for a response, the enormous toad vanished into a puff of smoke, leaving Jiraiya alone to face the looming threat.

Jiraiya's expression turned solemn as he contemplated his next move. He had intended to activate his sage mode and summon Fukasaku and Shima for support, but time was a luxury he couldn't afford.

The berserk monster continued its relentless assault, leaving no room for hesitation or preparation.

As Satori unleashed a barrage of attacks, Jiraiya found himself dodging desperately, struggling to find an opening in the relentless onslaught.

"It's... What kind of monster is this?"

"Run..." The Mui subordinate warned, but curiosity got the better of two teams of guards who were sent to investigate.

As they approached, the ground trembled beneath them, and the sky lit up with the assault of fireballs. However, their awe turned to terror as they witnessed the ruins and the bird-like monster before them.

The monster, alerted by their presence, unleashed a barrage of feathers, attacking the guards. Panic set in as they scattered, attempting to evade the relentless assault.

Seizing the chaos as an opportunity, Jiraiya moved to the center of the square. Ignoring the chaos around him, he focused on inspecting the ominous box. Climbing to the top, he furrowed his brow, examining the box.

"Fugaku, can you hold on?" Jiraiya muttered, concern evident in his voice.

Acknowledging the strength of Fugaku, he understood that the box corroded people's will, necessitating time for Fugaku to resist its effects. Determined, Jiraiya knew he needed to enter his sage mode to confront the monster and destroy the box once and for all. The urgency weighed on him—he had to shatter the box before it consumed Fugaku's will completely.

In a moment of tension, a big, dark red fireball hurtled towards him.

Reacting swiftly, Jiraiya molded his hand seals with precision, leaping off the box to put distance between himself and the impending attack.

As the smoke cleared, Satori emerged, having dispatched her guards. Intent on resuming her assault on Jiraiya, he paused when a loud bang echoed. Suspicion flickered in his eyes as he turned to look at the box.

Jiraiya, too, diverted his attention to the box in shock. The sound, unmistakably emanating from inside the box, added an unexpected layer of mystery to the already precarious situation. Another resounding bang echoed, dispelling any doubt—it was indeed coming from the box.

Satori's expression was his surprise. "How is that possible? Did he find a way out of the box?"
