Its terrifying head with a huge mouth was severed from its massive shoulders in a spray of dark blood.
Without waiting for its body to drop, Shane charged forward to the next Crusher Zombie!
His eyes were locked onto the next target as he wanted this battle to be swift.
With his Army Boots' Swift Stride effect, he closed the distance between them, his hatchet hummed through the air as it cleaved through flesh and bone of the other Crusher Zombie.
Well, he was actually aiming for the Zombie's head, but it was a bit too tall, so Shane sliced the Zombie from its shoulder instead.

One of the Crusher Zombies who had noticed Shane's actions threw the crushed bits of sword in its hand to Shane! It was the weapon of the other Survivors who had his weapon grabbed and crushed by the Zombie!
However, Shane had an Aura of Protection, and it works passively! Unfortunately, it wasn't too strong yet, and it was crushed after another Crusher Zombie threw whatever into its hands!
Thankfully, Shane still had another layer of protection! It was his Army Vest with Guardian Shield Effect that had been boosted a lot after it was upgraded to Tier 5!
The Guardian Shield was like the Sentinel Sphere that had a small area of protection around his body.
Shane smiled, seeing this since even the flying knives made of Starlight Silver couldn't pass through this defense.

The group of four Survivors, who were all wearing Hunter Set, stood in shock a few meters away from their previous spot.

The four of them always worked together to hunt both Survivors and Zombies for better resources.
However, they suddenly felt an urgency to increase their levels, so they decided to venture out of their comfort zones…
After all, they had barely survived their Zombie Waves. They just managed to live until now, thanks to the shelters they found along the way while they were escaping. Those shelters bore the assault of the Zombie Hordes that were supposed to attack them.
The four looked at each other and immediately noticed that the person who had helped them had an amazing set of clothes and weapons.
Seeing that the man had already defeated all the Zombies, they immediately expressed their gratitude.
"Sir! Thank you so much for saving us! I'm Michael... May I ask for your name?" Michael's voice rang out, filled with relief and admiration.
Shane turned to face the group, his expression unreadable as he replied…
"I'm just a passerby. No need for thanks." With that, he began to inspect the loot left behind by the fallen zombies…

Over the past couple of days, he only used the Timepiece that could give him five times loot on Jumper Zombie and Runner Zombie. After all, it could only be used once per day, so he had to use it before the end of the day.
It was still early in the day, so he might still encounter a stronger Zombie, but after some hesitation, he decided to pull it up and activate the Timepiece for his next loot.
