Chapter 6: Chapter 6
"Does that person already have the ability to deal with the power of the Abyss? This seems to be a good thing," Morax said after seeing the state of the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.
Although Furina had not seen the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles like the original Seven Archons, she knew that in addition to Tianli, Sky Island also had four shadows of Tianli. The Sustainer must be one of them.
After the four gods entered the temple, they realized that this was the place where the Council of Gods convened. There were many thrones arranged in a ring in the temple. On the largest and most ornate throne at the top, a young man sat lazily, resting his cheek on his hand while looking at them.
He spoke just as Morax and Barbatos were puzzled by the unfamiliar face on the throne.
"First meeting, Morax, Barbatos, Raiden Ei, Furina. The old Tenri, Phanes, is dead, and I am the new Tenri, Takumi." Takumi looked at the four Archons entering the Pantheon and smiled.
At that moment, the Original Dharma Ring appeared behind him as a colorful halo, emanating an aura of supremacy. The Original Dharma Ring was the supreme authority that controlled all laws and powers in the world of Teyvat. Even the demon gods were born from the fragments of the Original Dharma Ring. Thus, for the gods, the Heavenly Principles were above all.
"New Heavenly Law! Phanes is dead!" The hearts of the four gods were instantly thrown into turmoil.
"Yes, Phanes died to protect the world of Teyvat after the disaster in Khaenri'ah five hundred years ago. I am the fifth successor. When I first arrived in this world, I inherited the throne of heaven and the full power of Phanes," Takumi said, looking at the four gods who appeared horrified.
"Is there something you need from us that required this summons?" Morax, as the oldest Archon, was quick to adapt and asked after a moment of shock.
"Yes, that explains it," Morax thought. It made sense that with Phanes gone, the new Heavenly Principles would bring new changes—whether positive or disastrous—to Teyvat. The Abyssal power within the Sustainer had disappeared. This new Heavenly Principle must have the ability to restrain the Abyss.
Barbatos breathed a sigh of relief. If Takumi had inherited the throne, he probably wouldn't hold past neglect against him.
"This will take some time to explain. Please take your seats on your respective thrones, and we will discuss it slowly. This is a significant matter for Teyvat," Takumi said, snapping his fingers. A round table appeared before him, with five ornate thrones around it, each bearing the elemental symbols of the Archons present.
Asmodeus sat beside him, her expression indifferent.
"If it's Teyvat's top priority, I'm all in until the end," Barbatos said enthusiastically as he sat on his throne.
Takumi's demeanor was less cold and distant compared to Phanes, so a little flattery seemed harmless.
"By the way, Lord Tenri, why aren't the other three Archons here with us?" Barbatos asked, feigning innocence.
"The current state of their nations disqualifies them from attending this meeting, so they were not invited," Takumi replied, looking at Barbatos with an amused expression.
Right, that's what you're like, Barbatos.
He thought to himself that sylphs had no gender and could become whatever they wanted. Perhaps he could explore that in the future.
"Oh, I see," Barbatos said, feeling uneasy as Takumi saw through his thoughts.
"So, what is this significant matter you need us for, Lord Tenri? Can you elaborate?" Morax asked calmly.
Raiden Ei remained silent, acting as a disciplined general. Furina glanced around nervously—although she was the Hydro Archon, her power was far inferior to her colleagues.
This matter sounded like something serious, and she feared she might end up like the first Hydro Archon, Egeria.
"Asmodeus, pass them the information," Takumi said, tapping his fingers on the table.
He had given Asmodeus superior authority in the "Human Realm Power System," equivalent to that of an administrator in a chat group. The former Tianli had used the three major systems merely as tools to manage Teyvat, with no intention of expanding their potential. In Takumi's view, the potential of these three systems was enormous, forming the foundation for a self-sustaining divine system.
He had therefore transformed the core of Sky Island into the Pantheon. One day, his Teyvat Pantheon would house more gods than Greek mythology.
After receiving the information from Asmodeus, Morax, Barbatos, Raiden Ei, and Furina all widened their eyes in shock. Gradually, shock turned into excitement and finally fanaticism.
"Annexing other worlds to complete Teyvat! Such power is truly incredible," Barbatos said, regaining his composure. Even Phanes, who had shaped this world, paled in comparison—this was beyond her capabilities.
How powerful must the new Heavenly Principle be to wield such terrifying power?
"Yes, this power indeed holds great potential for the world of Teyvat," Morax added, now looking at Takumi with even greater reverence.
Previously, he respected Takumi for inheriting Phanes' power, but now he held a deep admiration for him. He understood Takumi's intentions clearly—wasn't this exactly what the people of Teyvat had long hoped for? To break free of the false world and explore the unknown rather than remain content with what they had.
In the past, Phanes would punish anyone who showed such ambition, but Morax also understood her reasoning. Unknown things could bring harm to Teyvat, like forbidden knowledge.
"If you need my power, please use it," Raiden Ei said, her lavender eyes filled with fervor, her hands trembling in excitement.
She saw a real opportunity to bring her sister back. The current world of Teyvat lacked the power to do so—but other worlds might have it.
"Count me in as well," Furina followed closely. As the Hydro Archon, it was her duty to contribute to Teyvat.
After all, she was the Archon of Fontaine, and the prosperity of the world benefited the people of Fontaine. Perhaps, after her service, she could plead with Takumi to let the people of Fontaine become true humans.
With another way to solve Fontaine's problem, she wouldn't have to die, and the prophecy for Fontaine's people could be easily dismantled.
She still feared death.
"Very good. It seems everyone understands the gravity of this matter," Takumi said with a smile, tapping his fingers on the table. He doubted that anyone—except for the most stubborn individuals—could resist the allure of expanding Teyvat.
And the benefits were clearly visible.
"Of course, to ensure the plan progresses smoothly and for you to devote yourselves to this grand endeavor without worries, I will adjust the laws of Teyvat and provide assistance.
"First..."
