Chapter 26: Dungeon Exploration Two.
Chapter 26: Dungeon Exploration Two.
*Celia’s POV*
As my Hunger Stat ticked to max, I had to beg Yona to stop feeding me… And she only gave up, when I told her that I was ABSOLUTELY full, and even my System said so. With a pout, she stopped feeding me. Girl… aren’t you like, 500 years old? Ah, whatever, that response was quite cute, so I’ll let it slide.
Celia: “Are we just aimlessly exploring this dungeon?” I ask with a curious tone.
Yona: “No. Our goal is finding the core to this dungeon.” She replied.
Celia: “Core? Is it the thing that controls this place?” I ask with a head tilt.
Yona: “Yes. If we destroy the core, then the dungeon will be destroyed as well.” She answered.
What!? But… my infinite source of money via Mana Crystals… Would she really be willing to destroy such a valuable dungeon?
Yona: “As always, your reactions are quite funny. We won’t destroy this dungeon.” She said with a giggle.
Celia: “Hm? What will we do with it, then?” I ask.
Yona: “Kill the owner of it, and then instate you as its new owner.” She explained.
Celia: “Huh!?” I say with a shocked expression.
Yona: “Don’t give me that, “I don’t deserve this dungeon…” look. You have killed far more Goblins than I have, as such, you will be the rightful owner of this dungeon.” She said with a stern tone.
Celia: “What does being an owner of a dungeon entail?” I ask with a thinking pose.
Yona: “You will have full control of it. By law in pretty much every kingdom, everything within this dungeon, once you own it, is yours, and yours alone.” She replied.
Celia: “What if someone tries to steal from it?” I ask.
Yona: “You can set it to only allow permitted people to enter this dungeon.” She answered.
That’s… really fucking cool! Once we clear this dungeon, I will have an infinite source of money. Woooo!!! Free money is the best kind of money!
Yona: “That seems to have made you quite happy. But we still have to clear this dungeon first.” She said with another giggle.
Celia: “Right…” I say with an embarrassed laugh.
Despite having the mind of an adult, I think this child body of mine is affecting my thoughts… Oh well. It won’t be a problem for that many years anyway. I say to deny my worrisome thoughts…
*Some Time Later.*
Currently, Yona and I are sneaking around, and are hiding behind a big rock. Why? Because we have come to what seems to be the main area of this dungeon. Sitting on a pedestal, is a round object. Which most likely is the dungeon core that we are searching for.
The problem is that there is a huge Goblin like creature guarding it… Is that huge fuck the one in control of this place? Isn’t their kind too stupid to do something like managing a dungeon?…
Yona: “Celia, from this distance, could you perhaps inspect that giant ones Status?” She asked with a quiet tone.
Celia: “Yeah, I should be able to do so.” I whisper back.
Looking at the huge one, I used inspect on it. Actually, I was quite curious on what this thing’s Status would look like. And not just because it would help us fight and kill it.

:Summary:
The Goblin Champion, Akguk, is a well respected warrior to the Goblins. He, along with his army, has destroyed many human and elf cities.
During his last war, he was defeated, with only he himself surviving. Thus, he fled. Until this day, his current location was unknown.
Goblin Champions in general, are a just Goblins that have lived for a long time. It takes over 50 years for a Goblin to mature into a Champion. But most of them die before they turn ten years of age.

Wow… this dude is crazy powerful… But he will give me a shit ton of Exp for killing him. Though, can I even kill him? If we go by my true level, he is still over thirty levels higher than me… Luckily, I have Yona with me. I explained to her what his Status is like.
Yona: “Hm… a difficult foe indeed.” She said with a thinking pose.
Celia: “Should we try to fight him?” I ask.
Yona: “I shall fight him.” She replied.
Celia: “But…” I say with a defeated tone.
Yona: “Don’t get discouraged now. I will fight him, while you deal with the other Goblins. Once I whittle him down a bit, then you can join the fight with me.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “Alright.” I say with a nod.
Thus the fighting began. I kinda feel like Yona is holding back, but she did gracefully distract Akguk. Which gives me the chance to deal with the small fries, without being disturbed by the stupid lumbering huge guy.
As they are Primal Goblins, none of them realized our plan, and just decided to attack me without reinforcing their supposed leader. Which worked out greatly for me!
My enemies were just twenty Primal Goblins. Some had shitty makeshift weaponry. But most of them really had no weapons of any kind. Unless you count their fists.
I dashed into the group of Goblins, and started my assault. Using my sword, I cut one of the Goblins head off, before switching to do the same to a different Goblin. All in all, they really had no chance against me at all.
It isn’t even due to my Status, I’d bet that even a child could deal with one of them. How that group that Yona was once with, died so damn easily, I have no idea. Maybe they were just frauds? But, really. These Goblins are so easy to trick.
Every time I used a feint, they wouldn’t be able to see through it. It was like these Goblins took a long time to process anything… Regardless, fifteen minutes after the fight started, all of the cannon fodder was dead.
With them dead and gone, I joined up with Yona. With the cute but sadistic smile on her face, it was clear that Yona was just playing with Akguk. Even more apparent when you look at the various wounds upon his body.
By the time I joined up with her, Akguk was already missing one of his eyes, and one of his arms. As for his HP, it was down to only 48 points. Basically speaking, he was only slightly better than a corpse at the moment.
Yona: “Celia, finish him off.” She said with a stern tone.
Celia: “Huh, why? You are the one that did the most damage.” I say with a confused expression.
Yona: “Yes, but if you wish to become the owner of this dungeon, then you must be the one to strike him down. On top of that, you could really use the experience from killing him, or whatever you call it.” She replied with her arms crossed.
Wow… she even stopped fighting him. Which means that she has no intention of killing him at all. So, she really was playing with him… Now that I look at him, he seemed to want to say something, but for some reason couldn’t.
Celia: “Why can’t he speak?” I ask.
Yona: “Oh, he could. But he had said something about really looking forward to playing with our bodies. So I cut out his tongue.” She said with a nonchalant tone.
Fuck… I just remembered that I shouldn’t ever piss off Yona. Which is really good to know! Now then, as for the almost dead Akguk, I readied my sword, and ran towards him. Jumping higher than a child should be able to jump, I plunged my sword into his head, most likely killing him instantly.
Ruina: “He is dead. You can pull your sword out now.” She said.
Celia: “Oh? I thought that you gave up on giving me information like that?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Ruina: “Eh, I’ll only do it for important notifications.” She said with a giggle.
Why am I surrounded by giggly girls? Whatever… Yona helped me gather up all of the resources from the Goblin bodies, which I put into my pouch, and then we walked to the dungeon core.
Yona: “To claim the dungeon as yours, please put your hand on the core.” She explained.
Celia: “Okay.” I reply.
Putting my hand on the core thingy, I was surprised that it was actually warm to the touch. Like it was alive, or something… Anyway, after having my hand on it for a few seconds, there was an extremely bright flash of light, which completely blinded me…
