Chapter 393 - The News isn’t Credible
Chapter 393 The News isn’t Credible
They rush over in surprise. Once turning the corner, they see some nurses and doctors come with a handcart. Liu Yun is holding his aunt who collapses on the ground and shouting in panic.
Before Fu Zhengzheng and Han Siqi ask, the nurses and doctors carry the old lay onto the handcart and then push it away quickly.
Liu Yun wants to follow them. Fu Zhengzheng holds him and asks anxiously, “What’s wrong with Aunt Liu?”
Liu Yun glances anxiously at the handcart that has turned the corner and then answers Fu Zhengzheng with a long face.
“Aunt thought the baby of my sister-in-law couldn’t survive, so her eyes were swollen from crying. She was also afraid that my sister-in-law would… Therefore, she didn’t eat anything nor dare to see my sister-in-law. She only asked me to wait for news here with her. When you told me the baby and my sister-in-law were both fine on the phone, I told her happily. Unexpectedly, she shouted ‘Ancestors bless us’ twice, rolled up her eyes and then passed out.”
Fu Zhengzheng feels slightly relieved and smiles, “Aunt Liu passed out because of extreme joy. Don’t worry. I’ll go to the infant room to see the baby.”
Liu Yun calls her at once, “Hey, um, excuse me, is it a boy or girl?”
Fu Zhengzheng rolls her eyes at him sulkily, “I don’t know. It makes no difference no matter it’s a boy or a girl, does it?”
“Yes, you’re right.” Liu Yun wipes sweat and doesn’t dare to look at Fu Zhengzheng again. He lowers his head and walks fast to the emergency room.
Han Siqi smiles, “This concept is common in the countryside.”
Fu Zhengzheng shrugs and smiles, “It doesn’t only exist in the countryside. Isn’t it the same in the cities?”
Han Siqi knows she is alluding to his mother. He smiles without saying anything and takes her to the infant room. They stand outside for quite a while.
“Are you relieved now? Can you go to have dinner?”
Then Fu Zhengzheng remembers they haven’t had dinner. She raises her hand to look at the time, sticks out the tongue and asks worriedly, “Li Yin…”
“I’ve arranged. She hasn’t revived. After she revives, she needs rest, so even if you stay here, she can’t see you.”
“Then let’s go?”
“OK.” Han Siqi takes her hand and goes out.
They eat something outside. When they return to Ten-Mile Sunshine Resort, it’s almost 11:00 p.m. They wash briefly. When they are about to go to bed, Fu Zhengzheng’s cellphone receives a message.
Zhu Ting? She opens it for a look immediately.
“Fu plans to tackle those forcing Tong to resign tomorrow evening.”
Fu Zhengzheng is startled and calls Han Siqi to look at the message at once.
After Han Siqi reads it, she asks in a low voice, “Do you think the news is credible?”
Han Siqi is suspicious, “You suspect Zhu Ting?”
“I don’t suspect her. I just suspect the news.” Fu Zhengzheng explains patiently, “Does Fu Wenhai trust someone easily and completely? He lets Zhu Ting live in his house, only because she looks like Li Xiaomeng and he wants to keep her around. He is so cautious. How can he let her find such important information? In my opinion, it must be false and is used to test Zhu Ting.”
Han Siqi doesn’t agree, “Fu Wenhai didn’t arrange it in front of Zhu Ting certainly. She is very careful and must have eavesdropped it by chance.”
Fu Zhengzheng shakes her head, “Rongsheng is a both good and evil financial group. Without Gu Yang’s aid, Tong Lean can hardly look after himself. But anyway, he has laid a foundation for many years. Can he become so passive? He is still the chairman of Rongsheng Group. Do you think he will be scared by those guys putting him in a tough stop? If he needs to tackle them, is it necessary for Fu Wenhai to do it by himself? If so, Tong Lean is really a loser.”
“What you say is reasonable, but it’s only your guess.”
Fu Zhengzheng sighs, “Yes, it’s only my guess. I have to work out a perfect solution.”
If it’s Fu Wenhai’s trap and he finds the deploy of the police, Zhu Ting will be exposed. But if it’s not a trap and the deploy is late, those people will be attacked, and it’s against the police responsibility.
She picks up the cellphone and decides to report it to Yang Tao.
Han Siqi says suddenly, “Now that you are suspicious, the police had better not take actions.”
“But if…”
“Maybe it’s better to leave it to Lu Song.”
Fu Zhengzheng’s eyes light up, “Lu Song? Good idea! I’ll call Yang Tao.”
She calls Yang Tao and tells him the information and her concern briefly.
Yang Tao doesn’t show his attitude immediately. He says he will report it to Deputy Chief Miao and then calls her back.
After about half an hour, Yang Tao calls Han Siqi. After exchanging civilities, Yang Tao tells him the detailed information held by police of the shareholders putting Tong Lean in a tough spot and warns him to send new guys there to avoid unnecessary trouble.
Fu Zhengzheng looks at Han Siqi hang up the phone confusedly, “Should it be arranged by me? Why did Yang Tao call you?”
Han Siqi raises his eyebrows, “It’s bother to let you convey information. He knows you are not good at oral expression.”
“Bah. Yang Tao must have been afraid that you would be jealousy if he called me at midnight. Ok, stop. Arrange for it right now. Be well prepared.”
“I know.”
Fu Zhengzheng looks at Han Siqi with all her eyes, listens to his arrangement carefully, nods from time to time and gives him a thumb-up.
“Don’t tell me you’ve never found your husband is like this until tonight.” Han Siqi puts his cellphone away and holds up his thumb.
“No, I always think my husband is awesome, but today I think you are more awesome.”
Han Siqi moves close to her with a grin, “You’ll think I am much more awesome soon.”
Fu Zhengzheng pushes him away, “So many things happened today. I’m not in the mood.”
“What’s the relationship between others’ business and our moods?”
“They are related, of course. I’m easily affected by others’ sorrow.” Fu Zhengzheng turns around and sits down on the bed edge.
“I’m in a good mood. I will make you delighted.” Then Han Siqi throws himself on her.
The next day is the weekend, but Fu Zhengzheng gets up early, because she is worried about Li Yin and her baby. She waits for Chen Xiaoxiang to cook the soup and put it into a container. When she gets to the hospital with the soup, it’s already past 10:00.
Li Yin has been transferred to a VIP ward. Though she has been out of danger, she is still weak and looks as pale as a sheet. Liu Lin’s aunt is talking with a girl beside the bed.
“Has Li Yin come around?”
The eyes of Liu Lin’s aunt are red and swollen. When hearing Fu Zhengzheng’s voice, she turns around immediately, walks fast to her and plans to kneel to Fu Zhengzheng.
“Hey, hey, Aunt Liu, what are you doing?” Fu Zhengzheng stops her from kneeling instantly.
“It’s extremely lucky for us to meet you and Mr. Han. You help us so much.”
Fu Zhengzheng helps her to sit on a chair and smiles, “Aunt Liu, it was nothing. Li Yin and her baby are blessed. Actually, we didn’t do much.”
Tears begin to flow from the aged eyes of Liu Lin’s aunt, “If something unfortunate happens to Li Yin and her baby, I won’t survive either.”
“Aunt…”
Li Yin is woken up by the wail of Liu Lin’ aunt and struggles to rise. The girl goes forward and stops her immediately while signaling the old lady to stop wailing with her eyes.
“I’m not crying. I’m happy. Happy!” Liu Lin’s aunt wipes her tears at once. Then she becomes excited, laughing and shouting in her hoarse voice, “Miss Fu, Li Yin gave birth to a boy. Thought he is premature, he weighs 2.4 kg. He is sure to be promising.”
Fu Zhengzheng smiles and nods in agreement while pouring the soup to a bowl, “Aunt Liu, this soup has just been cooked. Please enjoy a bowl of it.”
“I won’t. Please give it to Li Yin. I want to see my grandnephew. Xiaohui, take me there.”
The girl named Xiaohui glances at Li Yin with hesitation. Fu Zhengzheng smiles and says, “Please go with Aunt Liu. I will take care of Li Yin.”
Then Xiaohui helps Liu Lin’s aunt go out.
Fu Zhengzheng helps Li Yin rise lightly and then feeds soup to her while saying smilingly, “Aunt Liu looked so terrible yesterday. I thought she would stay in bed today. Unexpectedly she is in such high spirits.”
“Aunt was frightened by me yesterday. Afterwards, when she found the baby and I were both fine and the baby was a healthy boy, she became spirited instantly. It’s even more effective than an elixir. Since last night, she has gone to the infant room for about ten times. She doesn’t know the way to the infant room. Xiaohui has to take her there each time, so Xiaohui has been tired of it.”
Li Yin leans feebly. Her voice is weak, but it sounds excited apparently.
Fu Zhengzheng feels light-hearted too, “Luckily, it’s a false alarm. Actually, not only Aunt Liu but also I was scared by you.”
“I’m grateful to you and Mr. Han. Without you…”
“OK, stop, we’re friends.” Talking of it, Fu Zhengzheng can’t help asking the question that has puzzled her for the whole night, “How could you fall from upstairs?”
Li Yin looks confused too, “I don’t know. I just remembers that I slept in the room yesterday afternoon. When I was woken up by the pain all over my body, I found myself in the ambulance, and my mind was blank.”
“How could it be?” Fu Zhengzheng thinks it inconceivable.
“Liu Yun asked me the same question this morning. I don’t remember really. He said I called Liu Lin. I’m not sure if I called Liu Lin. I only remember I had a dream that Liu Lin came out and waved to me for a walk. He said more walk is good for natural labor.”
“Did you have hallucination?”
“Hallucination? How could I have hallucination? Only drug users can have hallucination, right? You know I have never taken drugs.”
Fu Zhengzheng is speechless and considers if it’s necessary to ask the doctor to make a psychiatric evaluation or a psychological test for Li Yin.
At this moment, the ward door is kicked open with a “bang”.
