Suddenly, Felix's expression changed slightly as he looked around. Trinity and Brixton's expressions also became serious.

The surroundings fell into deep silence as everyone looked around cautiously.

The area was completely dark, with tall, hideous trees and strange, creepy cries of various insects echoing in the background.

Suddenly, a dense number of green lights lit up in the darkness, surrounding them in the middle. There were simply too many of them.

"Big bro, what are those lights?" Nixie asked curiously.

"Those lights belong to the Dark Spirit Spiders," Felix calmly replied.

Nixie gulped nervously and tightly held her Magic Staff, looking around anxiously.

"Get ready," Trinity said. "Although these Dark Spirit Spiders only Tier Dungeon 1 Monsters, they come in hordes. They may have thousands or even tens of thousands in a single horde, so be careful."

Felix and the others nodded. Felix turned to Nixie and said, "Don't worry, they are just bugs. You are more powerful than them, so stop being afraid."

Nixie nodded, took a deep breath, and tried to calm down.

Screech! Screech! Screech!

Suddenly, loud screeching sounds filled the air as the green lights surrounding them rapidly closed in, revealing hideous, pitch-black spiders.

These spiders were the Dark Spirit Spiders, almost two meters tall, with eight long, sharp legs like knives.

Their numerous green eyes were quite creepy in the dark, making them look like floating lights if one didn't look closely.

Nixie's face paled slightly as she felt her skin crawl at the sight of the Dark Spirit Spiders.

"Okay, guys, they're all yours since you're going for combat experience. Brixton and I won't get involved, but we'll look out for you," Trinity said as she and Brixton took a few steps back.

"Good," Felix smiled and stepped forward. He looked at the rushing Dark Spirit Spiders.

Felix stood in front of Gwendolyn and Nixie, " You two support me from behind, I will be tank these monsters"

He unsheathed his long sword from the cane and grinned at the approaching Dark Spirit Spiders.

"Open a path for me!" Felix shouted.

Gwendolyn quickly reacted, pointing her Magic Staff at the spiders and chanting.

I call upon the powers that be. The Ice Element from the Borth. To bring what I need.

Tier 1 Ice Elemental Spell : Ice Spike

As Gwendolyn chanted the spell, the surrounding blew wit cold shivering wind as three ten meter diameter magic circle appeared under the Dark Spirit Spiders rushing infront.

When the three magic circle appeared long ice spikes shot out of the magic circle impaling the Dark Spirit killing them on the spot, dark green blood gushing out continuously.

Although this may seems long to describe but all of this took in place in the ten seconds.

From Gwendolyn chanting to the magic circles appearing and killing about thirty Dark Spirit Spiders all of this took less than ten seconds.

"Great job, Gwen!" Felix praised.

"Now my turn" Felix narrowed his eyes and said with excitement in his eyes.

Tier 1 Knight Skill : Windchaser.

With that Felix turned into a white blur and disappeared from where he stood when he reappeared a second later he was above the Dark Spirit Spiders, grinned Felix slashed down his sword.

Tier 1 Knight Skill : Wild Slasher

Felix pure white sword turned into numerous blurry phantom swords.

A second later he appeared a few distance away. About ten Dark Spirit Spiders were killed, split in to many parts dark green blood gushing out.

"Nixie what are you standing there for attack" Felix frowned ashe shouted at Nixie.

"Ok, ok". Nixie hurriedly nodded her face still pale, she took a deep breath and started chanting.

Tier 1 Wind Elemental Spell : Wind Blades

As she finished chanting, three huge magic circles appeared above her.

Three massive wind blades slowly emerged from the three magic circles, condensed completely out of wind.

Nixie, looking nervous, pointed her staff at the Dark Spirit Spiders, the wind blades immediately shot towards the middle of the Dark Spirit Spiders.

BANG!

With a loud bang, twenty to fifty Dark Spirit Spiders were instantly killed in the spot. The shockwaves generated send some of the Dark Spirit Spiders flying slamming them against the trees.

Blank-faced, Nixie observed the aftermath of her spell.

"See I told you, you stronger than them, so don't be afraid" Felix gave a thumps up at Nixie and grinned.

"Yeah you are right" Nixie muttered slightly under her breath.

"And both of you, you don't have to chant it's a waste of time, just willed the Spells you are going to launch" Felix shouted at them.

" Ok big " Gwendolyn and Nixie nodded."

"Good now starting attacking and make sure your casting time must be short". Felix said and with he turned into bolt of white light and shot towards the dense horde of Dark Spirit Spiders, killing left and right.

With every swing of his sword he will kill a Dark Spirit Spider.

Gwendolyn and Nixie were right on the heels of the action.

Tier 2 Ice Elemental Spell : Mega Ice Spin Array

With a tap of her staff on the ground, a massive spinning magic circle appeared around Gwendolyn, sharp ice spikes emerging as the circle spun rapidly. Any Dark Spirit Spider that dared to enter the circle was instantly shredded into pieces. In just a matter of seconds, hundreds of spiders met their demise from the spinning magic circle.

Ten huge magic circles immediatly appeared around Nixie, each unleashing and small and huge wind blades that sliced through the Dark Spirit Spiders around her.

The battlefield was split into three sections: Felix held his ground in the middle, effortlessly taking down any spider in his line of sight while keeping his pristine white suit spotless.

Gwendolyn stood in the center of her own spinning magic circle, any Dark Spirit Spider that entered the magic circle will instantly torn apart.

As for Nixie,sheffortlessly sliced through the Dark Spirit Spiders with her wind blades, making it look as easy as chopping vegetables.

"Big bro was right, these spiders are weak. I don't have to be afraid," she said, her expression relaxed as she continued to kill the monsters.

"These monsters are simply too weak,I haven't even used twenty percent of my full strength," Felix said, cleaving a Dark Spirit Spider in two. He shook his head in disappointment at their lack of power.

"Big bro watch out!" Suddenly, Brixton's loud voice rang out.

Tier 1 Lightning Spell : Lightning Trail.

BOOOOOM!

A huge bolt of violet lightning struck down behind him.

Felix glanced over and saw a charred Dark Spirit Spider, smoke rising from its body.

"Let's end this" Felix pointed his finger at the remaining Dark Spirit Spiders.

Tier 3 Fire Elemental Spell : Burning Meteor

Suddenly the Mana in the surrounding started rolling as fiery red Mana slowly ondensed above him.

A huge fiery red magic circle about hundred meter in diameter appeared above the sky.

A huge burning meteorite slowly emerged, turning into a trail of burning flames it crashed down on the spiders.

Booooooooooooooom!

All the Dark Spirit Spiders around a thousand meters radius were instantly incinerated turning into black ash disappearing into the wind.

Leaving a few of them but the remaining were seriously injured from the shockwaves generated by the spell.

A huge and bottomless crater was formed flames burning fiercely in the crater.

Brixton and Trinity watched in awe as Felix's power was displayed. "Big bro is so powerful," Brixton exclaimed.

Trinity looked deeply at Felix, " He sure is powerful ".

After a few minutes, all the Dark Spirit Spiders were defeated.

A few minutes later all the other Dark Spirit Spiders were killed.

"Big bro your spell is too powerful, it's completely wipe out the rest of the Dark Spirit Spiders" Nixie said while taking huge breath, her face was slightly pale.

She consumed a high amount of Mana in order to hold the Multiple Wind Blades Spell.

"You too you have done well, yoi were quickly able to adapt you've done well " Felix rubbed her head and praise.

"Don't let your guard down, this is not the last of them" Trinity said as she approched them.

"Hey big bro, why do you think we shouldn't chant and just cast our spells?" Gwendolyn asked Felix.

Felix looked at her and explained, "Because whether you chant or not, you can still cast the spell you want. Chanting is just a waste of time. For example, if you're fighting a Knight, do you think the Knight will wait for you to finish chanting before attacking you?"

Gwendolyn shook her head in understanding.

"Exactly," Felix continued, "chanting those nonsense words will only slow down your casting speed. And don't you think it's a stupid move? Your opponent could figure out which spell you're going to cast while you're chanting and prepare for it."

Gwendolyn nodded in agreement.

"Good," Felix smiled. "So next time, just silently say the name of the spell in your heart and willed it to be casted. It will naturally happen."

"Do you guys have any questions?" Felix asked.

Nixie and Gwendolyn shook their heads.

"Then let's go meet the boss of this floor," Felix grinned.
