Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

The assassin kept trying to attack Keiji but to his afforded every time he tried to attack and went forward Keiji's weapons were always pointed at him. He crouched and dashed towards Keiji but then he discovered the same thing Keiji was pointing his weapon at his throat.

'F.ck why the hell that when I will going to attack he was already ready and what the fuck is that bastard smiling about.' He thought as he retreated backwards and looked at Keiji's creepy smile.

'My agility had 15 more points than him so how the f.ck he can keep up with it.' 

He dashed again and aimed his dagger at Keiji while looking at every movement of Keiji. Keiji pointed the foil at his throat before he could even make a move. He jumped sideways while still looking at every move Keiji would do.

He saw Keiji step back diagonally opposite to the direction he just jumped. He was going to take a step forward but then, before he could move the foil was already pointing at his throat. He stepped back at that time and thought.

'Sh.t how can his weapon follow every one of my movements. I need to look more at how he moved his sword rather than his body or I would lose.' 

He dashed again at Keiji but then before he could take a step forward to attack the foil was already pointing at his throat. He went sideways and didn't revert his gaze from the sword as he prepared to attack Keiji but then he was kicked by Keiji in the stomach. 

He stumbled a few times before standing up only to find that his throat had already been pierced. He lost consciousness as he saw Keiji's shadow.

"THE WINNER IS THE NEW RUSTY TEAMMM!!!" the host said as he also got excited at the result of the battle. 

"Woahh!!"

"Rusty! Rusty! Rusty! "

"Rusty! Rusty! Rusty! "

…

Roars resounded in the whole Colosseum as shouts and cheer rang out for a minute. 

"Ok, let's stop now and pick a new team," said the host.

"Keiji we win haha!," Henry cheerfully said as he watched Keiji exit the virtual world in the virtual world. 

"Man, I never thought that you are that good," Rufus said as he was doubting himself on how he defeated Keiji back then. 

"Man, I even thought of kicking you out at first, it's good that I didn't or else I would regret having such a strong sparring partner. " Ralph smiled as he said those words.

Keiji just nodded and went on his way. He was really curious about how can a mere game lowered the capabilities of his mind to such a low level. 

'I wonder who is the creator of this. I wouldn't believe that someone that can create a technology that can lower the capabilities of my mind would die. Especially the creator of this had read a part of my power already.'

Keiji thought that as he observed more as the battle went on.

The battle ended and the next round would be held tomorrow at the same time. Keiji didn't wait any further and exited the arena after they were transported back. 

Keiji had many things he wanted to know about, especially because he doesn't have any ability that can transport him to a certain place without travelling. He could do it by using his speed and strength and people would think that he had teleported but what he was fascinated about the teleportation is that there is no sign of them travelling. Not even the energy travelled it was just like it appeared out of nowhere.

'After living for almost a millennium as a vampire lord nothing had taken my interest but now I am having fun in this world.' Keiji smiled as he thought about it.

He didn't log out in the virtual world yet and went on hunting and grinding levels. He still hasn't had a class that made him a skill-less player. He went hunting many monsters which gave him enough experience to level up until level 18.

He exited the virtual world after levelling up to 18. He opened his eyes and saw the same thing. The lid of the capsule opened up and Keiji exited the capsule. He looked at the time and found out that it was still 3 am.

He went to the bathroom and took a bath before sleeping. After waking up he cooked for himself a ramen and went on his way to school.

He went with Mia to school the same as the other day and also met Klyzer and Ryle at the school gate. They talk quite a lot and even Ryle joined the conversation. 

After the first subject, Keiji was so bored and didn't know what to do anymore so he just looked in the window as he always does. 

"Reign"

Keiji looked at the source of the sound and saw Klyzer tugging him. Keiji saw that his classmates are already leaving the room. 

"Is it already lunch break?" Keiji was confused. 

"No, it is our music class so we are changing rooms," Klyzer said.

"Oh! all right," Keiji said as he remembered that the schedule was changed and they have a music class right now.

"Right! I forgot," Keiji said as he looked at Klyzer.

"Let's go then," Klyzer said as she stood up and waited for Keiji.

"Ok," Keiji replied as he followed Klyzer. They went towards the music room with Ryle and Mia. 

After walking into the classroom an unfamiliar girl was standing in front. 

"You are the new student right?" the unfamiliar girl asked Keiji. She had a delicate figure and was wearing a black skirt and a white polo. Her eyes were black and she had a brown hair color that was in a ponytail. Her looks were that of a student and if not for the difference in what she was wearing anyone would be mistaken that she was a student.

"Yes," Keij replied. 

"Ok, so this is your first time attending my class so what's your name?" 

"Kei..Reign Scott," Keiji replied.

"Hmm… nice name, well ok I'm gonna ask you a question you three can go sit now," She said as she looked at the three and gestured to go and sit. 

"So Keiji I will be your teacher in music class, I am Layla, so because this is the first time you will attend my class I'm gonna ask you about what instrument do you know how to play?" She asked Keiji in a curious tone. 

"Me?" Keiji thought for a while, he didn't know what he really knew about music instruments, especially what he used before was kinda different from the instrument in this era.

In his era there are also pianos and he was also curious because from what he had read Piano was invented in the 16-18 hundreds. This was also something that he liked to know especially he still didn't exactly know how much time he spent sleeping. But he was sure that it was more than a millennia because in his era dinosaurs were still existing. 

But what he can't get out of his mind was how does the human get a fossil of dinosaurs while there was not a single fossil of any humanoid figure. He knew that his race was stronger than dinosaurs so it is most likely that there were still vampires that exist.

' Even though I went to slumber they can still survive it. Wait? Is it possible that vampires mutated to become humans because of a lack of strong prey? But humans have already existed back then?' 

Keiji was still thinking about this every time there is a chance but it is not his priority right now.

"Flute," Keiji then answered to his teacher. 

"Wow, it is rare nowadays for a student at your age to pick a flute. But what instrument do you wish to specialize in?"

"Violin"

"Violin ok go and pick some violin there and go to the violin group. You can ask them to teach you or me if you really want to learn," she said with a smile at Keiji while pointing at the group of students holding a violin. 

Some girls smiled when they found out Keiji would be in their group. Ron who was also in the group knitted his brows but deep inside he was scared of Keiji. 

Keiji opened the cabinet and picked up a violin. He went to the group and nodded. 

"Ron I will leave him to you. I hope you teach him well. And Keiji, if you have some questions you can ask me anything," Layla said.

"Yes, ma'am," Ron answered. Even though he was a delinquent he was still one of the top students in the school and he was not someone who disrespected their teacher. 

"Keiji, tell me what you know about violin so that I know what to teach you," Ron said without a hint of emotion even though he was still scared of Keiji.

'Interesting he didn't even let his emotion show on his face.' Keiji thought as he smiled at Ron.
