Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

He rotated himself mid-air as he slashed to add more force to his attack. But when his face turned towards Keiji he was faced with the weapon of Keiji pointing at him.

The swordsman was pierced by his cheeks. He was going to retract his head but the foil was soon pulled out of his cheeks and hit his arm and then it was pulled again and he was then pierced in his back left shoulder. 

When the sword reached where Keiji previously was the swordsman was shocked Keiji already got in his back and pierced his back left shoulder. He jumped forward as he turned back while swinging his sword. But then Keiji was nowhere to be found. He looked around and turned to his back again but Keiji still wasn't there but then he felt that his legs were pierced. 

He looked down only to see Keiji crouching while the foil was pierced on his legs and the way he was holding his weapon looked as if he was just writing. 

He slashed his sword but then Keiji just jumped backwards and dodge it as Keiji pulled the foil out of his legs.

The swordsman was full of wounds and holes. His body was already covered in blood. He only had a quarter of hp left and he was so f*ck.ng annoyed that he was not even making a substantial damage to his opponent except for cutting his arm. 

Keiji smiled provokingly as he waved his weapon as if he was just playing around. The swordsman gritted his teeth and was so irritated at Keiji. He was so angry right now and wanted to strangle Keiji to death but he was sure he wouldn't last long and the pain of having so many holes in his body makes his mind suffer.

He had already resigned to his fate at that time, first, all his skills were on cooldown and even if his skills were ready he couldn't execute them anymore, after all, skills need a proper requirement, unlike other games where you just need to say the skill and then it will eventually go as you wish. 

That is why it is so hard to level up if you don't have enough experience and tolerance to pain, especially if someone faced an opponent with the same level as them, their movements will not always go to their plan or to what they want. 

The swordsman rushed forward and decided to just buy more time so that Keiji wouldn't have the chance to join the battle. 

As this goes on, on the other side were Rufus, Ralph, the mage and the assassin were fighting. The enemy team was gaining the upper hand at the battle because Rufus had no chance in facing the assassin and worked with Ralph using his war hammer but instead he used his fist to fight. 

Ralph had received some damage after the mage attacked him using a skill. It affected him and his life only had a quarter left and it seems that the mage was ready to cast another spell. The assassin has a hard time facing Rufus who had already activated his will of fate as it cooled down. 

Now Rufus was waiting for his another will of fate which only had one second left remaining. As he blocked the attack of the assassin he prepared his fist and tried to counter-attack. As his fist almost reached for the stomach of the assassin his skill "will of fate" had cooled down. 

He activated it and his movements sped up. The fist hit the assassin in the stomach that made it fly but then a lightning strike hit him which he blocked with his forearm.

He stumbled a few meters before stopping as he laid on the ground. His body was paralyzed and he couldn't move his muscles.

Ralph rushed at the mage after he recovered and slash his sword twice and two air blades went directly in the mage's direction and hit him in the body. 

Splurged*...

Blood spurted out of the body of the mage as two big wounds in crossed shape appeared on his body. The mage didn't die at that but took so much damage that he lost focus and was distracted by it. He started casting his spells again after regaining his composure. 

The assassin flew back and stumbled a few times. Rufus went after him and picked up his war hammer before swinging it vertically intending to crush the assassin.

Creeaakk*...

The floor breaks after the war hammer were smashed in it. But the assassin's body was nowhere to be found. Rufus was confused by that and looked around. The assassin was just right in front of him when he smashed his war hammer on the floor.

The knight was rushing to the mage and was going to attack him but suddenly he felt the pain coming from his stomach and at his back right shoulder. 

Keiji was amused when he saw what happened as he thought 'What a strange ability is that instant travel? I wonder if I can have that ability.' Keiji was still focused on his battle as he was watching them; he knew that the swordsman would struggle a bit. He didn't hit the vital parts of his enemy on purpose because he doesn't want others to think of him as a monster.

The knight knew it was going to die so he used all he could do and activated the skill "sword of destruction". He raised his sword and pierced it on the ground before suddenly a circle light emitted and damaged the assassin that was inside it. 

The assassin vomited blood and his face turned dim as he saw that he had been severely damaged. After using his skill Ralph fell down and lost his life. 

The mage didn't just stand there and continue his casting and when he was done he cast it towards Rufus who was already running at him. 

Rufus couldn't dodge the ball of lightning that was shot towards him because it was as fast as a bullet that didn't give him time to dodge. Because he had no choice he just faced it head-on. 

The swordsmen who were rushing at Keiji earlier were not lying on the floor after Keiji stabbed it in the head. Keiji then ran towards the assassin but the assassin instead rushed to save the mage. 

Rufus was hit by the ball of lightning but that only made his armour break and some third-degree burn. Rufus heaved a sigh of relief because at first, he thought he would be paralyzed but then he just received some severe third-degree burn. His face was now unrecognizable with some exposed bones. His body was more severe because it was the epicentre of the attack. 

Although he felt so much pain he didn't stop and continued to run towards the mage. He raised his war hammer and slammed the mage to the ground. 

The mage was now so weak and frail because of his recent wound so he died pretty fast. While Rufus fell down as his will of fate lost its effect.

The assassin didn't waste any more energy as he was the only remaining member in the group and his health didn't even reach half. 

Keiji put down his foil for a while as he pulled out a gauntlet on his inventory. He threw it up in the air and slid his left hand inside. He grabbed the foil again as he looked at the assassin with a creepy smile. 

He didn't know what he looked like with that smile and if he knew he would not think about doing it again. 

'What's up with this bastard smiling like a f.ck.ng rapist who has not been relieving himself for a decade and suddenly seeing a sexy naked woman?' 

The assassin couldn't help but think about that because he was sure that he would win the fight easily, especially because his opponent doesn't even have a single ability or skill and his agility was a step higher than his.

'Is he thinking that he could defeat me because he has successfully hit me once? Hmph, this bastard I am more agile than you think in a one on one.' The assassin smiled as he waited for Keiji and also stacked up his stamina at that.

Keiji was almost out of stamina so he was also recuperating at that time. He was also using his telekinetic ability that strains his mind to stop the healing process in his arms. He was now on the verge of losing all his stamina and he couldn't help but think. 

'This game is really interesting restricting my powers up to this point was something.'

He didn't wait any further as that would only lead to his opponent gaining more advantage than him because his opponent was recovering faster than him.

They both dashed at each other and the fight started.
