Chapter 63 - Song Family (1)
Song Wanwan had originally wanted to complain to her father, hoping he would vent her anger, but in the blink of an eye, she saw her father’s cold face toward her.
Song Wanwan still knew a bit about her father and expected that she would be reprimanded.
As expected, Song Junhao spoke in the next moment, looked at his daughter, and said mercilessly, “How do I teach you on weekdays? Have you put those words in the dog’s belly and not remembered them at all?! I told you not to mess with Zang Ya; why didn’t you listen to me at all?”
Song Wanwan looked at her father, still a little unconvinced, and argued, “I didn’t. I listened to my father’s words. It’s just that something happened suddenly today. I didn’t expect he would take action without mercy.”
Song Junhao didn’t want to hear her argument, so he interrupted and said directly, “Even if you are right today, you should not provoke him. When he asks you to stop, you should stop. If you had stopped, would those things have happened?”
When Song Wanwan heard her father say this about her, she felt particularly aggrieved since she had been beaten in the first place. She continued to argue, “I just taught an ignorant bitch a lesson, but he hit me right away. This is not my fault at all. Father, I am your daughter. If you don’t seek justice for me, why are you still yelling at me?”
Song Wanwan was usually spoiled and couldn’t bear the grievance at all. Now that she felt wronged, her accusing voice grew louder and louder until it sounded like a roar.
“Shut up!” Song Junhao, a father who had once been quite gentle with his daughter, was no longer as doting as he used to be. Instead, he looked at her with a look of annoyance.
Song Wanwan was stunned, tears hanging on her face as she looked lost.
Song Junhao stared at her, a bit of sternness in his eyes. “I know you have always been wilful, but for the sake of your usual cleverness, I will be a little tolerant with you. I didn’t expect that you wouldn’t clever at all. You’re really not smart. Tomorrow, I will prepare a gift, and you will come to the Zang Mansion with me to apologize and ask your cousin to forgive you for today’s recklessness.”
Song Wanwan’s eyes widened, looking a little unbelievable, and she yelled, “Why? It’s not me who’s wrong; I was the one who got beaten. Why should I apologize? If I don’t want to, I won’t go.”
Song Junhao no longer wanted to listen to her, saying directly, “It’s not up to you. You have to go whether you want to or not. Now, go back and think about your mistakes behind closed doors. You don’t have to eat dinner today.”
Song Wanwan was unconvinced, but Song Junhao didn’t want to say anything else and had someone pull her down directly.
When Song Wanwan left, Song Junhao was alone in the room with a depressed look on his face. The Song family looked bright at the moment, but in reality, it was almost ruined from inside.
If it hadn’t been for the fact that Old Madam Zang had been protecting them and still thought about their familial relationship, the Song family would have declined long ago.
Originally, the relationship between the Song family and the Zang family had reached a precarious stage. Once Old Madam Zang died, the last connection would probably be broken.
If the Song family could provide some talents, he wouldn’t be so anxious, but their family was full of trash who only cared about eating, drinking, and having fun, so they couldn’t support such a huge family business.
Thinking of this, Song Junhao considered the mess Song Wanwan had just brought back. He knew that little monster Zang Ya wouldn’t even remember their family, but he definitely couldn’t allow him to hate their family.
After thinking for a while, Song Junhao ordered someone outside to invite his eldest son, Song Zheming, over.
When Song Zheming arrived, his clothes were still a little dishevelled, and he exuded the aura of having just come out of bed. When his father called him, he looked a little careless.
Seeing him like this, Song Junhao frowned slightly and then talked about going to Zang Ya to plead guilty the next day, asking him to go back and persuade Song Wanwan today.
Song Zheming suddenly became cautious after hearing this and quickly promised that he would persuade Song Wanwan and would definitely apologize the next day.
Song Junhao saw that although Zheming was indulgent in other things, he was very understanding in this matter, which relieved him a little. He then asked him to go down and persuade others.
Song Zheming left Song Junhao’s study and went straight to his sister’s room. At the door, he met the maid beside Song Wanwan, who was guarding the entrance.
The two exchanged glances, and finally, Song Zheming touched the maid’s thin shoulder, causing her to look at him tenderly. He then walked in contentedly.
As soon as he entered, Song Zheming saw Song Wanwan crying inside, with Mrs. Song trying to persuade her.
Song Zheming thought about what his father had just said to him, made some preparations in his mind, straightened his face, and walked in.
.
An Yun had fallen asleep in a daze. When he opened his eyes again, it was already bright outside, but Zang Ya had left early.
In fact, Zang Ya didn’t wake up together with An Yun every day. He had many things to do each day. If An Yun couldn’t get up that day but Zang Ya woke early, he would leave earlier.
Therefore, An Yun wasn’t surprised that Zang Ya wasn’t there. He got up, washed up, had breakfast, and then played with Snowball for a while. After that, he asked someone to find out what Zang Ya had done yesterday and why he had only gone out for a while before coming back.
