A little of information (68)
Once the meeting was over, each of the people took their own direction.
Elder Yurie along with her Master took Elder Shion and the rest of the injured disciples to the Sect's Nursing Room.
"I have to make a mission report… See you later" Yu-Hee said with a smile as she left with the rest of her squad. Each of the girls kindly said goodbye to Ruvan while some other daring girl did not forget to flirt with him one last time so that he would remember them.
"Come with me" Jena said with a soft voice as they began to walk through the Outer Courtyard. Naturally both attracted curious glances but no one was bold enough to dare to interrupt their path.
"And good? "
How was your first combat experience in this place?" Jena asked casually.
"It was good… I must admit that there is a big difference between the cultivators from this place and the ones where I come from but in general terms I would say that it felt good" Ruvan said after thinking about it a little.
If Ruvan had to describe the difference between the enemies of Marxus and the enemies of this place it would be that the cultivators in Marxus were a little more creative in solving their deficiencies while the ones here only relied on their superior cultivation strength.
"It's good… As you can see, the situation here is not simple at all"
"I already saw it… I heard from some people that the relationship between your Sect and my Master's has been interrupted in recent years" Ruvan commented casually.
Since he was on this boat he had to know everything what is needed.
"It seems that you are someone quite curious…"
"But this is not the place to talk" Jena said as she took a couple of glances at the rows of female disciples who seemed to be lying in wait for Ruvan.
"Come… Accompany me to my residence" Jena said as she began to accelerate her pace. Ruvan naturally followed her and after a couple of turns they finally began to leave the outer courtyard residence complex.
'How beautiful... It seems that we are reaching another Valley' Ruvan thought to himself as he saw how little by little they were moving away from the bustling outer courtyard towards a much quieter place.
A small path came into view which was surrounded by a dense forest. The noises of people automatically disappeared leaving only the noise of nature.
'Mmm it seems that the surveillance here is much tighter' Thought Ruvan as he saw one or another silhouette hidden among the trees.
The path they were traveling little by little began to go up, revealing that the final destination was at the top of a mountain. Finally after about twenty minutes they finally reached the top which was a completely flat place.
'Damn this place is beautiful' Ruvan murmured in amazement after all from this place you could see all the valleys that comprised the Sect's territory. Even the sea on the distant horizon was visible.
'Also the spiritual energy here is much denser than in the outer courtyard'
"Welcome to my residence boy" Jena said with a proud smile as she saw how Ruvan looked around with admiration.
"It's a nice place to live…" Ruvan said honestly.
"I know… I wouldn't change this view for anything" Jena said with a tone of voice full of feelings. This was the Sect for which she had worked her entire life… Here she found a lifetime full of sacrifices and efforts.
"Come… We'll talk here" Jena said while pointing towards a small pergola which served as a viewing point. A set of quite comfortable sofas were there so that people could sit and enjoy the stunning view of the place.
Soon a pretty maid appeared who had a slender figure. She was certainly an innocent little girl.
"Would you like a tee for you and your guest Master?"
"Thank you Anny" Jena said with a smile as she accepted the cup of tea prepared by the little maid. Ruvan also thanked her with a smile and finally both of them were left in complete solitude.
"You were asking me about the status of the Sect…"
"The reality is that we are in a much more complicated situation than it seems at first glance… I think even Mei can't imagine how bad we are having it" Jena said with a bitter tone.
"Is it that bad?"
"Hahaha you can't even imagine…"
"That bastard of Davos wants to undermine my position as Sect Master, so he has withdrawn all logistical and military support. Leaving us completely isolated…"
"Davos?"
"Yeah Davos. He is the Great Patriarch of the Thousand Desires Sect and of course the main enemy of your master"
"I see…"
"But isn't that harmful to his Sect? I mean, as many has explained to me. This Sect is one of the largest providers of disciples for the Thousand Desires Sect" Ruvan asked with curiosity after all, at first glance it only seemed that the Patriarch was harming his own Sect with his actions.
"The Goal of Davos is to make me resign and place one of their puppets in power…" Jena said with an annoyed tone.
"And that puppet is Elder Clayton I assume?"
"You're pretty insightful, huh? But yes, you're right. He's that bastard."
"Davos sent him five years ago to 'advise' our Sect but his true intention is to gather support to force me to resign from my position as Sect Master"
"But… Isn't that too petty?" Ruvan asked curiously after all Jena here couldn't pose a threat to that guy's power in his Sect.
"It seems that you are not very familiar with the Sect Hierarchy. Are you?"
"No… My Master was quite vague about it" Ruvan said honestly.
"Typical Mei…" Jena said while rolling her eyes.
'This woman is too beautiful no matter what gesture she makes' Ruvan thought to himself when he saw Jena's beauty.
"You may not know it, but I have another identity other than being the Master of the Hidden Flower Sect…"
"Being the Master of the Hidden Flower Sect is my secondary identity"
"My main identity is the Supreme Elder of the Thousand Desires Sect" Jena said with a cocky smile after all, she was a big shot in the entire region.
