Chapter 35: Chapter 30 Eru and Ulmo's talk

In Eru's palace, all the children were gathered, and Eru focused his gaze on Ulmo. Ulmo proceeded to explain to Eru how he had fallen in love with Amphitrite, the mortal Valyrian granddaughter of Aerion.

Eru sensed Ulmo's worry, fearing that he would reject the entire relationship. However, Eru would never do such a thing. His only concern was that his children would refrain from engaging in casual affairs and indiscriminately creating offspring, akin to the world of Percy Jackson.

Interrupting Ulmo's thoughts, Hathor's voice spoke up. "Father, it is true. Ulmo has truly fallen in love with Amphitrite. Their love is strong and pure."

Eru hummed thoughtfully and replied, "I have never been against my children finding love. My only concern is that you all refrain from engaging in casual affairs and avoid creating demigods without due consideration."

Ulmo sighed in relief, while Eru added"As long as you marry her and be loyal to her.I am not against it."

Ulmo was happy and replied"Thank you, father."

Eru nodded continue"You can change her into an immortal when the time is right."

Ulmo nodded earnestly, while Eru noticed that some of his other children, such as Surya, Horus and Mados, while Set was looking at his wife, Nephthys, with deep thoughts. They were all contemplating relationships, and Set was considering having a child.

Ulmo transformed into a small vortex of water, while Eru chuckled and remarked, "He is so eager to share this news with her."

Everyone smiled at the thought, while Ulmo met Amphitrite and revealed his true identity to her. It came as a shock to her, but they talked about it with Aerion, who was astonished to learn that Ulmo, the sea god, had fallen in love with his granddaughter.

The revelation was shocking, but Aerion was also thrilled about the prospects of this relationship. When the news was announced, there were naturally some disagreements, as none of them had known Ulmo's true identity and only perceived him as a seafaring merchant.

Some individuals disapproved, but they were unable to voice their objections for the time being. As time passed, Ulmo and Amphitrite had their first child, whom they named Perseus.

Vlad's study was adorned with the grandeur of Tepes Castle, lined with shelves of ancient tomes and maps that told tales of his realm's prosperity. He sat engrossed in reports, a Lord dedicated to his people's well-being, when the door creaked open. Eliza's entrance was a burst of energy, Eliza's heart was racing.

She looked into Vlad's eyes, her hands trembling with a mixture of fear and excitement. She took a deep breath, her voice quivering as she began, "Vlad, there's something I need to tell you... I'm pregnant." The words hung in the air, a weighty silence settling between them.

Vlad's expression shifted from surprise to a mixture of astonishment and joy, his eyes searching hers for confirmation. "Eliza," he whispered, his voice laced with emotion, "Are you sure?"

Tears welled up in Eliza's eyes as she nodded, a fragile smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Yes, Vlad. I went to the healer, and it's positive. This is really happening."

Vlad's arms enveloped her in a tender embrace, pulling her close as if he could shield her from the world's uncertainties. "I can't believe it," he murmured, his voice choked with happiness. "We're going to be parents."

Vlad's eyes held a tinge of sadness, a shadow of a memory he could never fully escape. His thoughts briefly drifted to his first son, a child born in a world of cultivation, a world of power and ambition. The boy's thirst for power led him down a path of darkness, transforming him into a tyrant fueled by his pride in his lineage of a god and abilities.

With a heavy heart, Vlad had no choice but to strip his own son of the very bloodline and powers that defined him, watching as he embraced a mortal life once more. The decision had been agonizing, a desperate attempt to halt the destruction his son was causing. And yet, that choice had shattered the bond between them, leaving a chasm between father and son.

The memory of his son's transformation was a haunting reminder of his own imperfections as a parent. He understood the anger of his son's mother, the heartbreak she felt, and the bitterness that had driven her to sever their relationship. Regret weighed on Vlad's shoulders, a burden he carried as a reminder of his past missteps.

Now, as he stood with Eliza, the weight of his history colored his desire to be a better father. The anticipation of becoming a parent again ignited a renewed determination within him. He was driven by the painful lessons of his past, a determination to ensure that this time, he would not falter. He wanted to create a different legacy for his future child, to be the kind of father who nurtured, guided, and protected without stifling or overpowering.

In that moment, as Eliza's presence enveloped him, Vlad's eyes held a mixture of hope and trepidation. He knew that the journey ahead would be challenging, that the scars of his past decisions would forever shape him. Yet, he was resolute in his commitment to be the father he aspired to be, to learn from his mistakes, and to ensure that this child would know love, guidance, and the strength to choose a better path.

As they stood there, locked in each other's arms, Eliza felt a flood of emotions rush over her. She thought about the journey they had been on, the challenges they had faced, and now this new chapter that was unfolding before them. The room seemed to shimmer with the weight of their dreams and the reality of their future as a family.

With her head resting on Vlad's shoulder, Eliza whispered, her voice filled with a mix of wonder and vulnerability, "I'm scared, Vlad. Scared of what if I am not a good mother."

Vlad's fingers gently lifted her chin, his eyes locking onto hers with an unwavering determination. "Eliza, we'll face those issues together and I am sure you will be a great mother."

A tear rolled down Eliza's cheek, a tear that held the intensity of all her emotions. She leaned in, their foreheads touching, their souls entwined.

As they stood there, wrapped in their shared embrace.
