Wish: Into the world of Percy Jackson

Chapter 19: Preparations

[Lysandros Evermore, Camp Half-Blood]

The days passed and we were soon a week into december. At this moment, all tents were almost halfway completed, having at least all the bathrooms and bedrooms already done, so that those Hermes kids could finally let out a relieved sigh.

We even created a really huge building for those whom have not yet been reclaimed to live. I do wonder how this will end up affecting the schemes from those guys plotting another Titanomachia.

I mean, most of their demigod army were just people who were forgotten in the Hermes Cabin, but now, most of them got a better place to stay, and even got reclaimed. Though the twelve assholians are still just as insuferable as before, so there must still be some who hate their guts enough to commit to the cause.

I have been keeping an eye on Luke, and it seems he is up to some fishy things, that bad uncle of mine should have already contacted him in his dreams or whatever. Honestly? As long as he don't mess with the girls, he can fuck those idiotic gods however he wants to, and I won't move a finger, like - "Oh, no! He managed to steal/destroy X and Y important stuff right under my nose, as I got 100% caught by surprise! Trust me, I did not expect it fr fr!"

I even hope they can cause some mayhem, so that I can move more freely without getting my ass smitten by some lovely lightning. I'm starting to feel the limitations of trying to learn about magic and stuff on my own, so I am kinda wanting to go to the old world in search for ancient lost knowledge. Maybe in the lost Library of Alexandria, maybe take a look at the archives from the Vatican, that are controlled by the catholic church, or even tour around china searching for something related to cultivation.

I'm pretty sure those should exist somewhere, just like the Egyptian Mythos, and the Nordic Mythos, so, why wouldn't there be the Judeo-Christian Mythos and the Chinese Mythos? It's just that I am not too sure if I really want to mess with them as of yet, as the Greek-Roman Mythos is already enough of a mess for me to handle.

That aside, the camp has also started making preparations for the arrival of Artemis and her girls, I guess the visit from an Olympian should be quite the unusual sight, it was just weird how Mr. D was also here.

First was the welcome 'party', Chiron wants to do a formal feast and a campfire ceremony, the customary way the camp uses to show respects for any visiting dignitaries or passing gods. Everybody will wear a greek toga, and then we'll eat with our honored guests in some special honor seat or whatever.

I don't really like all this formal bullshit, and I also feel really uncomfortable wearing that stupid traditional greek toga. It weirds me out to no end! It feels just like those scotch kilts, it really bothers me to wear just my underwear beneath those, believe me, I tried them once in my past life, I kinda get the so called feeling of liberation some say they felt while wearing those, but those feelings just can't ever beat the strangeness of the wear.

Well, I do want to see Thalia dressed in a greek toga, I don't think I have ever seen her in anything remotely similar to a skirt, so this could be my chance! She can be at times very unlady-like, so I gotta treasure such oportunities very much.

Other the welcoming ceremony, the campers also need to prepare the schematics and plans for the remodeling of the cabins, as that is the whole deal behind the coming of Artemis, or so we were told, and with that in mind, it was expected for there to be a lot of thought put into them.

There were even some who wanted to build a thirteenth Cabin in the tent area, dedicated to Hades, as a way of not pissing off one of the 3 strongest greek gods, even if said god is not an olympian. I am personally against it, but there is no way in hell I voicing my displeasure out, as I should have already pissed that gloomy bastard off more than enough.

Truth be told, he wasn't even that bad, all things considered. If not for the childishness caracteristic of most gods, he might have even been somewhat good. It's just that, since he could not take it out on Zeus for obvious reasons, he tried to do so on us pitiful demigods who never even asked to be born. Shame on you man!

On a side note, I just remembered I never talked about how Annabeth had been reclaimed. Honestly it came quickly, but neither Thalia nor me were too surprised by that fact. I already knew, and Thalia had a good inkling of it.

I mean, little Annabeth is a really smart kid. If I have to say one difference between her and her book counterpart, it would be that she is more lively and playful, probably because the travel from California till here went by much quicker and with less pain and suffering, so she managed to keep whatever remained of her original child personality.

That happened soon after her classes with Chiron started, as she got things right pretty quickly, and had outstanding academic results. Before long Athena had already reclaimed her, a bit before all the stuff with the tents started. She was one of my staunchest supporters, having the time of her little life creating and planning stuff. Whom did you all think was the one behind the creation of my giant book? All hail Annabeth!

She is amazing at this stuff, even when compared to her older brothers and sisters from the Athena Cabin. And I must remind you she is only 7! This life aside, I can't even remember what I was doing by the time I was 7 in my old life! My amazing memory only works for things I have experienced in this life afterall. But I guess I should have been too busy eating dirt or drinking toilet water to do anything remotely as useful as what the little girl is doing.

If that Percy bastard ever hurt her I am 100% filleting his ass into some sushi rolls!

I also thought about the matter with Zöe, knowing her past, I think it would be best for me not to rush things. She is a lot older than me, and can be a very tough nut to crack, so my goal for now woudl be just to get to know her, and try to leave a somewhat positive impression on her. I can always wait until the events from Titan's Curse start to make her fall for me.

I am still a child, so I should be able to somehow make Artemis or some other hunter, preferably Zöe, teach me some tricks and tips on hunting and archery. Artemis is, after all, also the Goddess of Children, so it wouldn't hurt to try my luck with that.

[Artemis, Mount Olympus, some weeks ago]

"Did you call me, auntie?" - I asked, as I looked up towards my aunt, a black haired beauty wearing a white greek toga. Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory.

"Oh! You are already here? Come closer! Let auntie take a look at you!" - She said as she brought me into a tight hug.

"You never change, do you?" - I asked, rolling my eyes, even when a small smile crept upon my lips.

"Never! That's one of the perks of being the goddess of memory my dear niece!" - She said proudly, puffing her chest - "I heard you will be going to the demigod camp."

"Yes, father just asked for me to help supervising the remodeling of the cabins. Why not just let that diet coke moron do it? He is already there!" - I grumbled at the cumbersome task I had received from father.

"Great! Could you give this to my son? He is staying there." - My aunty said some words that left me stunned on the spot.

"Son?!? You had another kid!?" - I asked, not believing my divine ears.

"What is so surprising about that? I just met a nice man, we kinda clicked as soon as we met, and then there was my baby!" - She said, acting like it was nothing, one of the very few gods to have never had a demigod child before. Heck, if not for father, that scum, forcing himself upon her, not even the muses would have been born! She soon continued - "Alas, fate sometimes pranks us... his father died soon after he had been born, so I had no choice but to leave him off into some orphanage nearby... stupid rules!"

She even got a little emotional in the end - "Could you look after him in my instead? Even if just for a little while? Also, give him this little gift for me, it's not much, but if he is anywhere like his father, this should be interesting for him..." - I could only nod, taking the little bundle she had prepared onto my hands.

She was, after all, one of the few beings that helped my mother when she was pregnant with me and my stupid and overprotective brother. She has been nothing but nice to us all this time, so I owe her at least this much... there is also the fact that I am also a goddess of children, so it wouldn't hurt to help that little one... if only he wasn't a boy... I just hope my girls won't give him too much of a bad time.
