In order to repay Brook's favor, Kimimaro decided to escort the skeleton to fulfill his promise with his friend. 

The Vice Admiral doesn't have any further appointment from HQ, and so, he decided to do what he and Enel does best! Hunting pirates! on the way towards Brook appointment point.

Brook had made promise in the past to meet his friend once again after he finished his journey after becoming a pirate, alas, he couldn't fulfill it after everything he had gone through. 

Thankfully he helped Enel and by the extension receiving his brother Vice Admiral Kimimaro favor, resulting the latter to help him. 

After coursing through the Grandline within just few hours, Kimimaro's crew occasionally deal with some poor pirates on the way, which the crews could deal with them with quite ease.

The pirates age is no joke, you can sail through somewhere and you will accidentally meet with pirates group no matter where and when. 

In afternoon, Tiana told Daigin some command which the latter immediately complied, 

"Fold the sail! Battle station we're about to enter the Calm Belt!"

The Marines immediately went about to follows Daigin command, the huge sails of the warship slowly folded upwards as Enel activate the Ship machinery on the deck below to let the propeller work completely. 

"Keep your eyes open boys!" Daigin rough voice echoing once again. 

Calm Belt were the zone in the sea which has no wind, no sea current and overrun with Seakings. No other ship dare to enter the calm belt while Kimimaro's ship has a mean to pass through it thanks to his electric powered propeller. efficiently cutting their journey time. 

As if to let the invader know about their teritory, Several Seakings welcome the ship, opening their fanged mouth! however, Enel just need a little lightning to make the seakings docile. Of course some Seakings actually has quite immunity against Enel Lightning which prompted Kimimaro to take some action.

However, most of time, Kimimaro let his crews to deal with the Seakings to improve their strength and experience, including the timid boy Rome who at some point almost become the monster snack!

After several days of not-so peaceful journey due to the seakings obstruction, Kimimaro ship finally enter the North Blue leaving the dangerous Calm Belt behind. 

Karakuri geographical positions was close toward North Blue, due to this Kimimaro decided to pass through the Calm Belt and went towards it, as for why they didn't stay on Grandine, the Grandline water was too unpredictable for Kimimaro comfort, unless he has something to do in Grandline, he rarely wanted to stay in it.

Another day passed, The Marines were spent after more than a week traversing Calm Belt, most of Kimimaro's crew were exhausted after they dealt with numerous amount of Seakings and needed some rest. 

At noon, 

"Ahoooy! there is an unknown ship in distance!" Shouted one of the crew using binoculars on top of the ship bird nest. 

"Enel, what do you see?" Kimimaro asked leisurely while he laid his back on beach chair looking quite comfortable. 

Enel who had been training on the deck wiped his sweat off, then he immediately disappear from the spot to check.

In no time, Enel was back, "...there's a merchant ship being pursued by another, 10 miles away at 9 o'clock." he said.

"Merchant? Who is the pursuer?" Asked Kimimaro while sipping a juice. 

"It doesn't seems like a pirate, but, there's a flag with cross and 66 numbers on it, there's also a symbol of skull with a streak of lightning across it..." 

Kimimaro raised one of his eyebrow before he sat straight and looking toward the distance. 

Even though Kimimaro had some hunch on what those symbol represents, he still asked Enel, "They have Jolly Roger, why do you think they're not pirates?" 

Enel tilted his head as he answered, "Their crews wear uniform, they look like some sort of soldiers..." 

Kimimaro nodded, "They're soldiers indeed, the infamous Germa 66..." 

Hearing Kimimaro voice, another marine exclaimed, "Germa 66? Really? I thought they're only a fiction?" 

"What do you mean by fiction?" asked another marine. 

"Hey, i came from south blue and had read a comic of Sora! It was exciting when Sora defeating the Germa soldiers in comic!" 

"Comic?" 

"You don't know 'Sora, Warrior of the Sea'...?" 

Suddenly the exciting discussion were interrupted by Kimimaro, 

"Cough*, They're real." 

"Woaaah!" 

"Cool!" 

Some marines who knew about the Comic were exclaiming in wonder after Kimimaro confirmation. 

"Captain! If Germa 66 is real, could it be that Sora is also real?" One marine was seen too excited and asked.

Kimimimaro looked weirdly toward the Marine before he shook his head, "Well, Germa 66 is real but Sora was just a drawing." 

Noticing his crews visible disappointment, Kimimaro chuckled, "Well lads, even though Sora isn't real, we have you here! Why don't you go and defeat those Germa 66 evil army and become 'Warrior of the Sea' yourself?!" 

Clearly, some motivational speech from their captain ignited their spirits, some soldiers who had read the comic could be seen pumping out their chest proudly while the other feeling quite weird listening at Kimimaro. 

Enel too looking at his brother weirdly, Noticing his gaze, Kimimaro asked once again, "How about the merchant? Do you know their affiliation?" 

Enel smirked slightly, his gaze felt quite uncomfortable for Kimimaro who tried to calm himself down. 

Shaking his head Enel spoke, "Yeah, they bore Flevance Kingdom flag..." 

"Flevance..." Kimimaro murmured as he looked like thinking about something. 

Shaking his head, Kimimaro shouted towards his crew, "Set course, we will save those merchant from the Evil clutch of Germa 66! Boys! Go and become the Warrior of the Sea yourselves!!!" 

"SIR! YES SIR!!!" 

Their spirit ignited as they prepared to engage with the Evil army of Germa as if they were being in some sort of story book. 

Enel chuckled seeing Kimimaro impassioned order, "Comic huh? Never knew that you like those drawing..." 

Kimimaro close his mouth with his fist as he lightly coughed, "Cough*, don't let it bother you, just a little hobby of mine, besides, those comic books are interesting you know?" 

Enel grined from ear to ear while he nodded in understanding. 

Soon the Warship went towards the pursuits. 

On top of the Germa Ship, 

"Sir! There's Marine warship coming!" Shouted the sentry. 

The chief who wore a black military uniform with a skull Emblem and 66 numbers on his back squinted his eyes as he also see the incoming Marine ship. 

"Check their affiliation! There's no way those greedy bastard from 50th Marine base dare to confront us!" Shouted the captain back.

Germa 66 was military branch from Germa Kingdom, one of World Government affiliated kingdoms and has a seat in world summit, levely which held every 4 years in Mary Geoise.

While Germa Kingdom might be affiliated with World Government, their warmongering action using their military branch seemed to fall into blind eyes. Germa 66 is a mercenary group which would do anything from assassination to joining the war if money had been involved. 

In short, they have no regards towards the civilians life and death acting as an invader most of the time. 

"Sir! There's no mark on the ship other than Marine Flag, however judging from their ship size, there's no doubt! They came from HQ!" 

The captain's face turned ugly when he heard the Marine seems like coming from Marineford. However he took a deep breath, soon he made a decision. 

"Cease the pursuit! We'll return!!!"
