Saul took his giant sword and swiftly made a stance under the falling island, without stopping his laughter Saul shouted,
"HAKOKU SOVEREIGNTY!!!" Saul swung his giant sword with the tremendous power that the giant race possessed!

The island was destroyed into smaller debris in one attack from Saul, after he had done so, Saul turned his attention towards the other giants who used the same technique as him to destroy their respective targets.

On Kuzan side,
"Ice Block: Dome!" Kuzan used his freezing power to create ice from the surrounding air molecules and created an ice dome.
His objective was to protect the still ongoing evacuation from the falling debris which could be detrimental to civilians.

A huge dome made from ice appeared out of thin air and successfully protected the civilian, Kuzan breathed a sigh of relief seeing there was no one had gotten hurt.

All of a sudden, there was a huge winding pillar made of bones sprouting from Kimimaro's surroundings and piercing through the two islands, which were his targets.
