There was no way for the remaining Big Mom's pirates to approach the Marine as they already knew the bitter fact! The Marine posses weapons that can shoot a very powerfull projectiles even past the cannon's effective range, and once they got even closer, they have no confidence to defend against those weapons!

Katakuri gritted his teeth when he noticed that there were 2 ships passing through slowy at their front in distances away. He realized that by taking advantage of their obstructed vision due to Oven's ability. Their enemies attempts to besiege them!

Katakuri was bewildered, what kind of commander their enemies sent to escort Dr.Vegapunk home? He thought, usualy the common escort convoy would prioritize to escape in this kind of situations, and yet, their enemies actualy had the gall to try to capture them? How bold! 

But he also calm enough to make a decision now as he had to face reality after experiencing the terror brought by their enemies weapons.

as he looked towards his brother and sister, with determined eyes, he finally made a choice. 

"I'm sorry! Smoothie, take over the command, go with Daifuku and Cadenza brothers back to Whole Cake Island and tell our mom that we have failed" He said gloomily.

"What do you mean brother?!" Smothie yelled in disbelief.

Katakuri ignored her as he looked towards Oven, his eyes shone with complicated thought, nonetheless, he reaffirmed it as he spoke, 

"Oven, this is dangerous. But, do you want to come with me to hold them back and make ways for our brothers?" 

"Hahaha, you don't have to ask twice, brother!" Replied Oven with even stronger resolve!

*Bam...!

Just when Katakuri and Oven wanted to jumps towards their enemy ships, Daifuku dropped from the sky just near them. His face were painted with exhaustion yet with determined expression. 

"Count me in brother!" Daifuku yelled.

Katakuri shook his head as he replied, "No! You go back with Smoothies and the remaining crews, Me and Oven will try to hold them back!" 

However, Daifuku was too hard headed to comply, "Those Bastards cut off our back route brother, we need 3 pronged attack to hold them back! Count me in!" 

Katakuri paused as he thought. The Marine boldly tried to encircled them with no way of escape from the front, he wasn't stupid enough to not realized that they must have another ships went to their back routes to completely encircled them!
