Warhammer III

Chapter 1: Lord of the Nachmond Subsector

After the Darova Expedition, Sisera went to Holy Terra and met with the Imperial Regent Primarch Guilliman. On the one hand, he reported the detailed results of the Darova Expedition, and on the other hand, he submitted three demands of Master Taiyue to the Terra High Lords Council.

The first demand was to transform Planet III in the Hellic System into a Forge World, where the remaining technologies excavated from the Blackstone Fortress were studied.

The second demand was to transform the Forge Moon Ω-3 in the Darova System into a research base for the Tyranids, and Darova as a test planet for Genestealers.

The third demand was to obtain the right to rule the Nachmond Sub-sector, and the appointment and removal of the planetary governors of the planets in and around the Nachmond Corridor would be decided by the Ninth Brotherhood.

These three demands were more difficult to achieve than the other, and caused heated discussions at the Terra High Lords Council.

Taiyue himself believes that the first request will most likely be approved. Although the legacy technology on the Blackstone Fortress belongs to the alien race, it is undoubtedly heresy for the pure faction of the Inquisition. However, after the Mechanicus studies the legacy technology, the new weapons produced can deal with Chaos and aliens, which is more beneficial than harmful to the Empire.

Whether the second request can be approved depends on the current danger level of the Tyranids in the Milky Way. Regarding how to ensure the safety of the research base, Sage Dela has made a full set of plans to ensure that the living samples of the Tyranids or Genestealers can be controlled on the planet.

The main controversial point of the third request is that Taiyue, as the Grand Master of the Ninth Brotherhood of the Grey Knights, should be the vanguard of expelling demons, not the lord who manages the Empire's sub-star zone. His request will undoubtedly arouse suspicion from the Empire's power departments, and he may be regarded as a new warlord or even a heretic.

However, there is still a glimmer of hope for this appeal. On the one hand, the 'Sanctuary Great Wall' command, which originally managed the Nachmond Corridor and the surrounding star systems, did not have a unified commander. It was controlled by a council composed of the Inquisitors of the Inquisition and the Planetary Governors. The first Daroa expedition led by them failed completely.

On the other hand, the Ninth Brotherhood defended the Red Earth Star, the hub of the Nachmond Corridor, purified the Chaos corruption in many imperial worlds in the Nachmond Corridor, and played an important role in the battle to occupy the Fallen Knight World Davalo and defeat the Chaos Fleet, and also destroyed the conspiracy of the Midnight Lords during the period.

These achievements are the conditions for supporting Tai Yue to become the Lord of the Nachmond Sub-sector.

During the absence of Sisela, Tai Yue and the Ninth Brotherhood were not idle. The Tianyuanfang Black Stone Fortress further cleared the Chaos warships in the Nachmond Corridor and the surrounding star systems.

Tai Yue then organized a small-scale expedition fleet with the Imperial Navy defending the Red Earth Star to eliminate the alien enemies in the Lex star system in the Nachmond Corridor.

The Lex system is a place where aliens are active. Alien races such as Eldar pirates, dark Eldar, and green-skinned orcs are entrenched here, and they often sneak attack and plunder ships preparing to enter the dark side of the empire.

This operation ensures the safety of navigation inside the Nachmond Corridor. More and more merchant fleets responded to the call to transport goods and weapons to the dark side of the empire and support the dark side of the imperial world.

The fortress-level transformation of the Red Earth Star was completed. Before that, two strike teams alerted the star.

A year later, Sisela returned to the Nachmond Corridor from Holy Terra and brought the resolution of the Terra High Lords Council.

It can be said that all three demands of Taiyue were met, but the Terra High Lords Council made adjustments to the specific details.
