That Night
(Recap 2 in the index is up to date as of here)
5/8 night
The ogres were carefully stored for morning, and everyone else had their orders to get to safety. I wanted to relax, so I did what any reasonable person would do: I teleported to one of my slaves’ beds and summoned my most enthusiastic consort. Eva had a modest bedroom, a bit cluttered, but her bed was easily large enough for me and Lividia.
Eva wasn’t in bed at the moment, so I just told her and Darcell to stay out in her living room till we were done unless she wanted to join us. “Go to the inn at Lakeshire if you want a bed.” Katarina laughed at that, thinking I was joking. That was fine. I knew I could bend her over her table and fuck her raw at any time, and right now that knowledge was good enough for me even without actually doing it.
“Alright Lividia, show me how a queen sucks cock.” My consort, looking as always just a bit too perfect to be human, got started.
“Thank you my king. I’ve been longing for the opportunity.” She spoke between licks, and was stroking my shaft gently. “You taste wonderful.” She gave me such a happy smile when she said that, I just had to grin back.
She started to take me into her mouth and suck properly once she’d gotten me hard. Her technique had improved a bit, she’d clearly been watching closely when Drusilla had demonstrated, but it still needed work. It was definitely enough to get me ready for round two, though.
“Alright. You did alright, but I’m gonna take over.” I pulled her head off of my cock by her hair, and she seemed absolutely thrilled. She’d done well enough, and I was taking charge. I took pleasure in ripping a hole in her beautiful silk dress so I could get to her dripping snatch.
“Yes my king. Yes. Please. Anything you want.” She was trying to talk dirty to me, but she couldn’t string together a coherent sentence, even one about how much she loved my cock. She put on airs, but she was young and inexperienced. I gave her a much deserved creampie, and we collapsed together. It was really a travesty how inexperienced she was, considering I’d had her available for several days. Maybe I’d need to fix that.

The Blackrock orcs were good on operational security, but they did slip a little bit at night. Keryn wasn’t judging. Most did, unless they were nocturnal. Another reason Keryn relied so much on swiftthistle: she could see the target’s whole schedule. Keryn was masquerading as a low tier grunt, nobody important. If she saluted at the right times and avoided being seen at the wrong times, she had the run of the place. Especially at night.
The prisoners, of which there was only one at the moment, were kept in a pen near the back of a cave. It was always guarded by two orcs, day or night, which was just slightly more than Keryn could take alone. Her best plan was to be the one to bring Keeshan his daily slop. That meant intercepting the real slop bucket, and that meant watching their route and picking the right place for an ambush. She could do it, probably, but she’d need another day to observe.

The Mistress was coming to the ranch. By Sargeras’ own name, mistress Nozara was coming to the ranch on short notice. Zelena was in a blind panic; had she missed something? Was she behind on some quota? Had her last batch of fel steeds been somehow defective? She knew that mare with the short legs wouldn’t be ideal, but she was going to serve a mortal. Better to make use of a failed experiment than put it down, right?
Or was it about the imps? She got a commission for each imp she sent along to the legion’s forces, willing or unwilling. Was she expected to kidnap more? She’d always thought that unwilling wild imps would be worse than useless, that’s why she worked so hard at persuading them, but if Mistress Nozara disagreed then she may be punished for her negligence.
She was cleaning up her little cabin and putting on her best wrap when she glanced Witherwing, Nozara’s Felbat steed, through her window. She’d been planning on polishing up her horns, but she needed to be waiting for the mistress outside when she landed. Should she assemble the steeds for a demonstration? No. No, that would look sloppy if she started now. Better to look smooth.
She composed herself and strolled out as the wingbeats shifted in cadence, indicating a landing. That way, it looked like her timing was perfect, but she also didn’t leave her mistress waiting. Perhaps she could bribe the mistress with- with what? Zelena didn’t have anything she’d like.
Nozara blinked down from her bat, preferring to avoid the indignity of crawling down. If there was anything the solidly built Eredar woman hated, it was looking undignified in front of her servants. She wore the traditional robes of a mage, instead of the scant two piece outfit many Eredar had adapted from Sayaad fashion. As such, her firey red skin was only exposed from the neck up.
The overseer surveyed the felsteeds with disdainful green eyes. “I see your herd hasn’t grown. I hope this means you have cultivated some imps?”
“Yes, mistress. I have my eye on a few. One in particular recently killed a mortal summoner. I think he enjoyed the taste of power. He came to me with… with questions.” It had been some kind of business deal he’d been proposing, but such discussions were frequently a portal to recruitment.
“How… promising.” The sorceress pursed her lips. “I have been ordered by Lord Hel’Nurath to see to the training and outfitting of a unit of cavalry. Your herd is of acceptable quality, barely. See to it that the best are sent forth, properly equipped. I give you the right of requisition for this purpose. If you shame me, I will end you.”
“Yes, mistress. It will be as you say.” Bitch.

5/9 dawn
I woke up wrapped in a beautiful dragon girl, so naturally I didn’t want to get up too quickly. You know me, I woke up and started messing with my amulet. I checked the timer on The Hermit and was happy to see that it had about thirty minutes left to completion. That meant I just had to kill a bit of time to see the results.
An ominous message titled “update: balance patch” demanded I open it first.
Due to concerns from Company staff about the relative usefulness of certain mission rewards, all consumable mission reward items have been altered to be usable only in their entirety. Attempts to make use of a partial dose will instead have the full effect, while removing the remaining material.
Sigh. Well it was nice while it lasted. I guess that meant that my remaining Lethe water would probably erase 12 hours in one shot, my bottled consent would need to be used all at once, etc. Dammit. This was just a flat out nerf. You win some, you lose some.
I fiddled with the settings on my girls a bit. I removed the requirement to be thinking about me to orgasm from any girl I didn’t intend to sleep with again soon, along with anything else that seemed like it would reduce their quality of life substantially. It just seemed cruel. I replaced them with a pair of pretty basic commands anywhere there was space; feel good when you act on my behalf, and feel bad when you question my motives. Be a good footsoldier, basically.
I remembered something from my old life; internet celebrities like twitch streamers would always reach a point where they couldn’t engage with every one of their followers. They needed to start making distance or they’d hit burnout. It was a dumb comparison, but honestly I couldn’t keep up with all the people in my retinue. They were still useful, but I didn’t really need to talk to them much to have them working for me. Eventually, I’d have more people in my retinue that I didn’t really know or care about than people I did. Hell. About a fifth of my retinue was ogres I couldn’t remember the names of already. They were a brute squad, picked up because they were accessible and proved a theory.
That was pretty much all they were, and I was already at peace with that. A bit of my retinue would be my harem, and I’d want to have an elite team on tap for fighting enemies like Mor’Ladim. Other than that I’d probably just sort people into shell organizations like the Rampant Lions, or set up a chain of command.
With that in mind, I opened up Darcell’s special upgrade panel. There was an option for each of the core stats in the game, and they were all really damn good. They’d each push her in a different direction. The ones that would make her a better fighter held a certain appeal after the Mor’Ladim fight, and the possibility of having her somehow serve as a proxy for me made me extremely curious about the possibilities.
In the end, I settled on Agility, which would give her covert talent. She was a rogue, and good dedicated rogues were at a premium. If she could catch up to Keryn I’d have a team of two elite special agents instead of one, plus anything she could learn from Vanessa. I had fighters, and I was sure I’d pick up more. Good spies would be a bit harder to come by.
There it was. The popup for a completed mission. In my inventory I had a scroll of reanimation and a spool of ghost hair thread. I’d need to check out some undead soon, but for now I was fine with moving on to the real meat of the completed missions: the new missions. Starting with the moderate one.
Shadowhide Pendants
Gather 20 of the enchanted pendants worn by the leaders of the Shadowhide gnoll pack.
Reward: 1 credit + Seal of Joy + Couples fruit
Easy. I just needed to give the Rampant Lions standing orders to pass the amulets along the chain of command and this would happen on its own. The rewards were quirky things, but seemed usable.
Seal of Joy: when this stamp is affixed to an individual, they will become overcome with joy about their current situation. Can last from 1-24 hours depending on how uncharacteristic joy would be.
Couples fruit: when two individuals share this fruit, they will feel a strong sexual attraction to one another regardless of normal orientation or preferences, and feel drawn to one another emotionally. The effect fades over 30 days.
Not the strongest items that the company has offered, but I’d take them. So, what’s my third major mission look like?
The Fury Runs Deep
Convince Kam Deepfury, a prisoner currently in the Stormwind Stockades, to dedicate his life to repairing the broken bridge in the Thandol Span. If you capture him, you will be penalized.
Reward: 10 credits, pocket apartment
What the hell kind of mission is that? I mean. I’m gonna try to do it if I can, the credits alone would be worth the effort, but still. That penalty also makes my first idea, just capturing him, a bad one unless I want to see what penalties look like. In any case, I was taking a day off. I had a silly idea I wanted to test, and I was going to go ahead and do it. I was going east, I was bringing Lividia, Abby, and Mary, and I was going to see if I could get some out of season Draenei. I’d send marching orders to the rest of the team whenever I had an idea.
