Poem: “Casey’s Kiss.”
Casey's Kiss
All it took was one kiss,
A sea of blue eyes and ashen lips,
Scent of sweet iron and swaying hips,
Sent my mind and heat fluttering amiss.
All it took was one kiss,
Broken foot and wounded knee,
My new mistress is a doctor you see,
Drunk and foolish I was back then,
loving and leaving in reckless sin,
I awoke with thoughts I could not dismiss.
All it took was one kiss,
Bound and found in her lair,
Wiggling my way out of bed and a flight of stair,
Little did I truly know I was ensnared,
Just from a little moment of sweet bliss.
All it took was one kiss,
Sounds and shapes confounded my mind,
Vivienne offered me peace that was clearly defined,
Far be it for me to resist.
All it took was one kiss,
Now I am a trusted ward,
The sharp end of the mistress arrow and sword, Never dreamed of something like this,
all from one sweet kiss.
