“Or maybe this is just an unexplored area? I hope it is an unexplored area...” Mo Fan said as he suddenly remembered something.
When he was small he used to play a computer game about building an empire from scratch and exploring the whole map slowly, while conquering other enemy empires as well.
“Well, I also hope I’m not in another multiverse... That would seriously suck!... Huh? Wait you can turn the angle on this map as well?! Whoa that’s such a convenient feature...! What this!!”
Mo Fan who fiddling around with the screen while thinking suddenly clicked on the four arrows representing the North/South/East/West. He realised that he can move the direction at will and also choose a 3D view instead of just bird’s eye view.
In 3D view, he was able to rotate the whole box via directly his hand and also zoom into it. He was able to see all the furniture inside the room as well as a human figure (Mo Fan).
Just as he was enjoying himself, he noticed a fake tile leading to the basement, which he was not able to see normally.
“So, there was a way out of here!!” Mo Fan exclaimed excitedly.
“This feature is truly convenient, you can also deduce if there are any traps ahead or any secret spaces like this one.”
Mo Fan walked to the place where the fake tile was. He peeled the floor mat off from the floor.
The tiles didn’t really looked any different from other. He tapped the fake tile and also the tile beside it lightly to see if it was really hollow or not, but surprisingly the sound emitted by both the tiles were exactly the same. It didn’t sound like the space below them was hollow.
“Hmph! It’s really well made, it would’ve fooled me if it were for little loach.” Mo Fan complimented the tile as he clenched his fist!
He mercilessly smashed his fist against the tile with his full force. Ever since his dual function was operating, Mo Fan felt his physical prowess extraordinary.
He was now strong enough to punch a hole through a human without any problem.
CRACK~
But the moment he slammed his fist on the hard tile, he felt a tremendous amount of pain surging to his body from his hand.
“AAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!” Mo Fan screamed in agony.
It felt like his knuckles were completely shattered. He crawled the ground in agony disgracefully. Little Loach was exasperated watching Mo Fan do his stupid little action.
He already had such an awesome little feature and also showed him the way, yet he still screwed up. If it had its head right now, it would’ve nodded sideways in disappointment.
There was indeed a fake tile leading to the basement as shown in the map, but there was also a mechanism in the bookshelf, to opening the basement space below.
Mo Fan completely disregarded it and just went and punched a floor which even commander class creatures cannot break.
‘My master is a genius but he is Dumb in weird ways...’ Little Loach sighed.
......
An arrow flickered on the screen pointing at the bookshelf.
“Uuuh~ my hand hurts~ huh? What’s this?” Mo Fan said with tears in his eyes as he gently grabbed his fist.
He noticed the arrow pointing at the bookshelf, and glanced towards it.
“Is there something you want me to look at, Little Loach?” Mo Fan asked.
Vrr...
Little Loach vibrated as if to answering his question.
Mo Fan got up from the ground after confirming it’s answer and went near the bookshelf while holding his dislocated hand.
He reached his hand out and took out a book from the part the arrow pointed at in the map, and noticed there was a button.
The arrow disappeared from the map as soon as Mo Fan discovered the mechanism.
The moment he pushed the switch the entire room trembled as the fake tile turned into dust, revealing the wooden stairs leading to the basement.
“What the hell, Little Loach?! If you knew about this then you should’ve told me about it instead of wasting my time and hurting myself in the process. How are you going to take responsibility for it, huh?” Mo Fan shamelessly accused his little beautiful pendent, even though it was his fault for not looking at the map properly.
It simply just ignored it’s master’s shameless complaints.
“What? You think you can ignore me now? Just because you’re a dragon doesn’t mean you get to bully me like this! In the first place it was because of me that you get to eat such nice benefits, but I have been suffering from the start because of you. Don’t think you can ignore me like this, I’ll annoy the heck out of you!” Mo Fan kept shamelessly annoying little loach as he walked down the wooden stairs.
Little Loach wanted to shut his mouth for good as he was actually making it annoyed. Little Loach itself didn’t knew it could get annoyed.
Mo Fan was able to feel Little Loach’s emotions since they were connected, so he felt happy knowing he was able to irritate a dragon.
......
“Hey, We’ve been walking for at least 20 minutes now right? Why aren’t we there yet?! Even the light emitting from the room has became almost non-existent.” Mo Fan said as he was in the middle of a pitch black space.
He had been walking for 20-25 minutes now, but he had still not reached the basement!
Even Little Loach was confused as to what was happening right now. It was also it’s first time coming here, so it was also completely clueless just as Mo Fan was.
Another 30 minutes passed~~
“Okay now that’s fu*king it! Little Loach torch this place!” Mo Fan stopped in his tracks and exclaimed in annoyance.
VRR~~!
Little Loach vibrated as if agreeing with Mo Fan. Even it was annoyed, not at Mo Fan this time but at this place! Even his absolute draconic sense was not working in this place, it was totally in dark no matter where it looked.
It emitted a brilliant glow, as it lit up the place!
As soon as the place was lit, Mo Fan’s face paled as cold sweat appeared on his forehead. His body shivered in terror as he looked in front of him!
Even Little Loach was terrified.
If Mo Fan had taken even a single step forward, both of them would’ve fallen into the dark black void of dead space. They would’ve been disintegrated into atom immediately as soon as they left the stairs.
