Versatile Mage : Reborn As Mo Fan

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 : Mo Fan : Don't Get Involved.

After Mu He's self-praising speech, it was finally Mu Ningxue's turn to take the stage.

At that moment, the whole school erupted with excitement. Clearly, everyone knew about Mu Ningxue's fame, she was a well-known figure.

"Bro Fan, Bro Fan, it's the princess! It's really her! She actually came to our school!" Zhang Xiaohou exclaimed excitedly, tugging at Mo Fan's sleeve.

Mo Fan raised his head to look at the stage and indeed saw a beautiful figure standing there, elegant like a lotus blooming in the snow. She wore a white, high-waisted, form-fitting dress that perfectly accentuated her impressive figure.

However, what really captured everyone's attention was not just her alluring body, but her stunning silver-white, middle-parted long hair. Despite the scorching heat, this girl standing on stage looked like an ice fairy who had descended from the snow-capped mountains—pure, untouchable, and breathtakingly beautiful.

The entire school fell into an awe-struck silence upon seeing this goddess-like figure.

Having heard so much about Mu Ningxue's beauty, no one could have imagined that in person, she was even more breathtaking, like an ice goddess in her youth. Whether it was her aura, her attire, or that naturally flowing silver hair, she was beyond stunning.

Honestly, even though Mo Fan was familiar with the feelings of admiration from his past self, seeing her now, he was struck by the same awe, falling for her at first sight all over again.

In his memory, it had only been three years since he last saw Mu Ningxue, but now, she had grown into someone of incomparably beauty!

"Bro Fan, you should have run away with the princess when you had the chance." Zhang Xiaohou sighed, looking at Mu Ningxue standing so proudly among everyone.

Hearing this, Mo Fan thought back to the past, remembering the events that had transpired.

He also recalled the despicable face of Mu Zhuoyun.

As memories of the past surfaced, Mo Fan didn't listen to Mu Ningxue's speech, nor did he pay attention to Zhang Xiaohou's regretful remarks.

By now, Mu Ningxue had finished her speech, and the other students seemed invigorated, as if this was their ticket to success, believing they could get into the Imperial Capital Magic Academy just like that.

Although Mo Fan had remained silent, Zhang Xiaohou whispered into his ear, "Bro Fan, if you work hard these next two years, you could also get into the Imperial Capital. Once you're there, the Mu family might not have as much control over you. Then... heh heh."

Before Zhang Xiaohou could finish his sentence, another voice interrupted with a sneer. "Ha! Don't make me laugh. Even if his talent is decent, without the backing of a family, he'll be nothing more than a low-level mage. You think you can go to the Imperial Capital Academy? Still dreaming about getting close to the young lady? Know your place."

The voice belonged to Zhao Kunsan.

Zhang Xiaohou, who had long been annoyed with Zhao Kunsan, snapped, "Zhao Kunsan, are you out of your mind? What did my Bro Fan ever do to you? Why do you always jump out and bark like a dog whenever we say something?"

At this point, Zhang Xiaohou had become one of the top students in the class, one of the few who could actually cast magic. So, he couldn't understand why Zhao Kunsan, who could barely control six stars, had the audacity to run his mouth.

"He didn't offend me, but I just can't stand seeing a lowlife like him. I don't understand how he had the guts to try getting close to Lady Mu Ningxue back then. Who does he think he is? If it weren't for him, our Zhao family wouldn't have lost our land!" Zhao Kunsan pointed angrily at Mo Fan.

Mo Fan held back Zhang Xiaohou, who was about to lash out.

Zhao Kunsan wasn't wrong in one regard—he did have a clear understanding of the situation.

But even so, Mo Fan wasn't about to play by those rules, nor was he the kind of person to back down.

"Zhao Kunsan, you have the makings of a perfect lapdog, with the awareness to match. That's something I, Mo Fan, could never achieve. But as for you, if you want to be a dog, just don't come near me. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to give you a taste of fire magic and show you what roasted piglet feels like." Mo Fan said coolly.

Zhao Kunsan had lashed out because he saw Mu Ningxue and was reminded of past grievances.

But seeing Mo Fan now, ready to fight, he didn't dare escalate things.

Mo Fan had already mastered seven stars and could cast magic, something few in their class could do. Furthermore, fire magic was known for its powerful offense among the basic elements. Not even Zhao Kunsan's master, Mu Bai, would be a match for him.

So, when Mo Fan shot him a meaningful look, Zhao Kunsan, recognizing his own impulsiveness, wisely shut his mouth.

That was the advantage of dual-element training. At the very least, Mo Fan didn't have to deal with lowlifes buzzing around him.

The assessment began shortly after.

The first student up was He Yu, the class's "magic diva." Despite all her previous whining, she unexpectedly received an A grade, which left many who had comforted her feeling betrayed.

One by one, students took their turn. So far, the assessments only involved the Star Sense Stone test, and no one had begun casting spells yet. Zhang Xiaohou attempted to cast a spell but didn't perform as well as he had hoped, he couldn't fully stabilize his seven stars yet.

Next up was Mu Bai. As Mu Bai stepped onto the stage, Mo Fan noticed Mu Zhuoyun and his entourage, including Mu Ningxue.

Mu Ningxue also noticed Mo Fan.

For a moment, their eyes met, but Mu Ningxue quickly averted her gaze. Mo Fan didn't dwell on it either, focusing on the exam.

After Mu Bai finished his test, Mo Fan's name was called.

As he walked to the stage, Mo Fan thought to himself, "Are these petty people like Mu He and Mu Bai still trying to mess with me?"

Everyone knew his situation, and any attempt to sabotage him now wouldn't work. Moreover, with Teacher Tang Yue present, any small schemes would be futile.

As expected, when Mo Fan placed his hand on the Star Sense Stone, its glow was faint, which immediately raised questions from Ms. Tang Yue.

Mu He and Mu Bai had hoped to prevent Mo Fan from entering the elite class but hadn't anticipated Tang Yue's involvement.

Thanks to Tang Yue, the examiner who had initially given a poor score received a stern reprimand from Mu He. But Mo Fan paid no mind to any of this.

When you lack power, fairness and justice don't apply to you.

During the re-examination, Mo Fan achieved a perfect "triple S" rating, and his casting was even smoother than Mu Bai and Xu Zhaoting's.

Even without using his enhanced flame, the result was outstanding!

And naturally, Mo Fan scored an 'S' in his final evaluation!

"Amazing! Mu Zhuoyun, my friend, I must say, your family has truly impressed us today. If I'm not mistaken, Mo Fan is just the son of your manor's chauffeur. In the Mu family, even a chauffeur's son can reach this level—it's truly impressive!" praised Deng Kai from the Hunters Alliance, turning heads among the other board members.

Mu Zhuoyun looked at Deng Kai, whose words echoed among the other board members, leaving them equally impressed.

It was undeniable—one couldn't help but admire a kid like Mo Fan, who outshined even those from well-off families.

Slowly recovering from his shock, Mu Zhuoyun nodded. He hadn't expected Mo Fan to perform so well, and with these esteemed figures complimenting him, he finally felt a sense of pride.

Mu Zhuoyun then motioned for Mo Fan to come over.
