Unmotivated Deity

Remaining Members

Jien and the woman who he still didn't know the name of stared at each other for a few long moments. The woman seemed to want to scare him into looking away but he kept eye contact without much trouble. He wouldn't be sent scurrying away from just this much given what he had faced in the Warping forest. That being said the staring contest grew more awkward by the moment given that the other party hadn't said anything after clearing her throat and Jien didn't appear inclined to be the first to speak.

It was at the point that the staring contest was truly becoming unbearable that the door opened once again. There was a pause before a familiar, energetic voice rang out from the side. The voice called his name in a happy sing song tone as if the speaker had gotten a present. Jien took the excuse and broke eye contact with the woman in the corner, facing the speaker.

There in the doorway was Rosalind, her chestnut brown eyes glowing with delight over being in Jien's unit. She practically skipped over to give him a hug before looking in the direction he had been focused and finding the woman staring back at her with the same look, with perhaps a touch of disdain added in. All of a sudden the staring contest started anew but with different participants.

The next to enter was Barret. He already knew Jien would be here, if not when he arrived then shortly after. The two of them had shared a room the past two nights so they had been able to confirm they were in the same unit. Unfortunately they were forced to separate from the others and go to the common area before they could check with them.

Luckily, or perhaps by some system of the academy, they weren't separated for long. Each of the members of Jien's cohort ended up in the same room. They were each as happy as the last over the development, knowing that though they may have to build some others into the mix, that their teamwork would help them through this challenge too. And with each new member of Jien's group that entered a new staring contest would commencement with the woman in the back corner refusing to speak but glaring at the quickly forming group.

It wasn't long before the last of the group of heirs had gathered, the final member being a rather haggard looking Olivia. Nobody was quite sure why she looked haggard given that they had pretty much been in roughly the same space the whole time but she didn't seem to want to explain either. With her arrival the room had a total of seven members present, but the information on their unit had stated that there would be a total of ten. This left the others curious as to just who would be joining them.

The first to show up after Jien's cohort assembled was a monster of a woman. She was even taller than Rosalind by about a head, while Rosalind was about a head taller than the others. The woman had bright green eyes that bordered on yellow and orange hair that was styled in a slightly long pixie cut. While Roslind had a strong build it was nothing compared to the newcomer. Her musculature seemed to strain the academy uniform and her overall appearance made many there question whether she was really a teenager at all and not a teacher. Yet she broke that illusion with her cheery disposition, waving upon entering before walking around and giving everyone but the girl in the back corner a firm handshake and introducing herself as Robyn.

Immediately Jien questioned why the two girls with names starting with the letters 'Ro' and being by far the tallest of those here ended up being together in the same unit. However he was forced to put that thought to the back of his mind as the second to last member entered. It was a boy with medium length pale blonde hair that was parted to the side. His eyes were an icy blue but what actual drew everyone's attention was the fact that he was very timid. In fact when he noticed the stare from the girl in the corner he seemed to shrink back. Overall he looked fairly thin and petite, almost as if a strong wind would be able to blow him away.

Everyone seemed to be wondering the same question of how someone so timid who looked like they hadn't had to exercise in their life was supposed to survive in such an environment, not that he could run away. He was stuck here like all of them for these four years. They feared however, that given his current reactions if he would actually survive the first year let alone four. The inspection of all eight other members in the room made the boy seem to want to hide even more, as he continued to take steps back until he was back in front of the still open door.

It was at this point that a high pitched, irritated voice came from behind the poor fellow, demanding that he move out of the way so they could enter the room. At the sound of the voice the boy almost jumped a full foot, letting out a high pitched squeal one may expect from a young girl before he rushed up the stairs opposite from the spear wielding girl, up into the opposite corner.

The escape of the timid boy revealed the last member of their unit. It was short, petite girl that they almost could mistake for someone half their age. She had almond shaped eyes, one green and the other brown, her straight raven hair tied into a simple braid that reached down her back to her ankles, nearly dusting the ground. She had her arms crossed over your chest and a scowl on her lips as her eyes scanned those in the room with a critical eye. When her eyes met those of the girl in the back corner she snorted and said in a tone screaming to pick a fight "What are you looking at?!"

All the members of unit B114 had gathered and Jien had started to doubt the academy's system for grouping teams despite ending up with his friends.
