Chapter 33

The fingers held by him hurt my shoulders and my back. As I was about to fall in surprise, my body was helplessly sucked into Kang Yoo-hyun’s arms.
“No, wait…!”
“If you were a little later, I would have burned everything to ashes.”
I timidly faced Kang Yoo-hyun, who was saying scary things. I felt a little scared as his eyes were brightly shining blue as if he was using his skill.
“Wait, let go of me!”
“… Han Yi-jin.”
A low voice that sounded like an echo from a deep cave reached my ear. When Kang Yoo-hyun called my name like that, I somehow became anxious and nervous. It was because I didn’t know what this selfish main character of this world would do.
“You are covered with the smell of another bastard.”
“What…?”
“It’s unpleasant.”
Kang Yoo-hyun, who was frowning, muttered in a displeased voice. I was dumbfounded. I thought they looked nothing alike, but the brothers did the same thing. Why is he sniffing someone else’s scent? I can’t understand it.
“Come here, go wash up right now.”
“Oh, hey!”
I tried to shake off Kang Yoo-hyun, who was pulling me recklessly, but it was impossible. The difference in strength was too great. As I was being dragged helplessly, I heard a loud shout from behind.
“Han Yi-jin!”
“Kkyaau!”
It was Eden and Yong-sik. Eden, who quickly approached me with his wind ability, grabbed my arm, and Yong-sik bit my left leg. Thanks for holding me. Thank you, but a scream immediately left my mouth.
“Uwah, Yong-sik-ah! My pants are melting!!”
“Kyu–kyuuuu.”
The deadly poison from Yong-sik quickly melted part of my pants. Yong-sik let go of my pants gloomily as I shook my leg in surprise. Then he quickly moved in front of Kang Yoo-hyun and growled at him.
“Grrr, grrr!”
“Oh…”
"
"
But wasn’t he afraid of the SS class? Yong-sik should have felt fear from the protagonist’s aura. Because Kang Yoo-hyun was an SS-class. Come to think of it, I suddenly remembered the setting of the novel.
Yong-sik, a Nidhogg, who was originally Kang Yoo-hyun’s summon, had a very dirty temper. Even though he recognized Kang Yoo-hyun as his owner, he didn’t listen to him very well. So, even if Kang Yoo-hyun gave him orders, he was always unenthusiastic even in dangerous situations.
Then how did Kang Yoo-hyun tame him? By beating…
An enraged Kang Yoo-hyun would beat Nidhogg without holding back.1 Then, the hot-tempered Nidhogg would finally comply with Kang Yoo-hyun’s words.
I watched Kang Yoo-hyun and Yong-sik in front of me with a worried face. Kang Yoo-hyun looked at Yong-sik, who was much smaller than him. Then Kang Yoo-hyun stretched his long legs.
“No….!”
Kang Yoo-hyun’s legs seemed to be able to kick Yong-sik at any time. I twisted my body to stop Kang Yoo-hyun, but I couldn’t move. I don’t know about Nidhogg, who was an adult in the original story, but right now my summon, Yong-sik, is a young dragon. If Kang Yoo-hyun, an SS-class, kicks him even once, it can go terribly wrong.
“Yong-sik…! Huh?”
“Kkyau?”
“…”
However, Kang Yoo-hyun’s feet did not move any farther when he stood at an ambiguous distance away from Yong-sik. He looked like he could kick Yong-sik who was in front of him at any moment, but somehow he stopped his foot and looked at Yong-sik with strange eyes.
What? There was no way my shouting stopped him with that temper of his. Did he feel something when he saw Yong-sik?
I looked at Kang Yoo-hyun with slight anticipation. In the novel, Yong-sik might have been violent because he was already an adult, but now he might think differently. His icy cold-heart might have melted a little because of Yong-sik’s cute appearance…
“Haa…”
“Kyaaa, kyaa!”
There’s no way that—
Kang Yoo-hyun snorted as if he didn’t find Yong-sik worth dealing with. Yong-sik cried loudly in a squeaky voice like he was offended.
I sighed as I watched the confrontation between the two. It was fortunate that Kang Yoo-hyun didn’t suddenly beat Yong-sik.
However, that seemed to make Yong-sik even angrier. As if he was angry at the thought that he was being ignored by Kang Yoo-hyun, Yong-sik inflated his small body. But, don’t tell me that posture…
“Yong-sik, no!”
Yong-sik’s diaphragm was greatly inflated. It was the same as when he spat poison breath at Baek Si Hoo. The breath was ready to erupt from Yong-sik’s mouth at any moment.
“Kya—kyau…”
“…Oh?”
However, Yong-sik who opened his mouth excitedly immediately fell down. I looked at Kang Yoo-hyun, wondering what he had done, but Kang Yoo-hyun’s face looking at Yong-sik was salty as if Yong-sik’s actions were absurd.
“I guess he reached his limit.”
Instead of me being held by Kang Yoo-hyun or Eden, Park Yoon-sung came closer and looked at Yong-sik. Yong-sik, who was lying down bonelessly like a doll with a dead battery, did not tremble at Park Yoon-sung’s touch, and only breathed out.
“H—he’ll be fine, right?”
“He’ll be fine. We’ve prepared magic stones, so he’ll feel better soon if he eats them.”
“Whoa, that’s a relief.”
Park Yoon-sung, who looked at me who was filled with relief, turned his gaze to Kang Yoo-hyun and Eden and spoke with a smiling face.
“Should we go inside and have a conversation instead of staying like that? Hunter Kang Yoo-hyun, Hunter Eden.”
“…”
“…”
But still, the Guildmaster of the Odin Guild was Park Yoon-sung. It was that moment I thought of that.
“Yong-sik, let’s eat.”
“Kuu?”
"
"
Yong-sik, who was semi-conscious, shook his head at the green magic stone in front of him. Then Yong-sik, who smelled it, began to react.
“Here, hurry.”
“Kuu, ku…”
But for some reason, he didn’t want to eat it and just grunted. What’s wrong with him? Nidhogg in the novel is a glutton to the extent that he eats a lot regardless of the magic stone’s grade. Moreover, this magic stone that Park Yoon-sung saved was an A-grade. Nevertheless, Yong-sik’s response was lukewarm as if he had no interest. He was so hungry that he passed out.
“Haa, what’s wrong with him…?”
Park Yoon-sung approached as I sighed with concern. He looked at Yong-sik, who couldn’t eat the magic stone, and spoke in a serious tone.
“Apparently it’s still hard for him to chew and eat the magic stone. Even though he’s a dragon, he’s still a newborn baby.”
“Ah…”
Park Yoon-sung, who finished talking, moved his hand as if rummaging inside his inventory. Then he immediately took out something and handed it to me.
“…A branch?”
“This is a branch of Yggdrasil. Most poison dragons like it, it’s like a snack.”
“Aha.”
“If you sprinkle some powdered magic stone on top of it, he’ll eat it.”
As Park Yoon-sung said, I sprinkled some powdered magic stone on the branch of Yggdrasil. Then, Yong-sik caught a whiff of the scent it gave off and opened his purple eyes.
“Kkyau, kkya!”
“Do you want to eat it?”
“Kkyaa!”
“Good. Eat well, eat well.”
I watched Yong-sik eat enthusiastically with a proud face. He licked and ate the powdered magic stone sprinkled on the branch, and then played with it while chewing on the branch with his fangs.
I heard that there was a way to entice puppies into playing when they couldn’t eat their food, and I didn’t realise that would also apply to the summon. For a moment, I looked at Yong-sik who had been preoccupied with the tree branch for a while, then turned my head.
“Hyung, is his name Yong-sik?”
“…”
Why is Kang Soo-hyun here? I have a headache. B-class Han Yi-jin, who is in the same room as SS-class Kang Yoo-hyun, S-class Kang Soo-hyun, and A-class Eden, is already suffocating enough.
“Why are you here?”
“Me?”
I followed Kang Soo-hyun’s gaze and saw Park Yoon-sung, the root cause of everything, drinking tea with an indifferent face. I looked at him with dumbfounded eyes.
He said he’d let me stay at the dorm. A Dorm! Since when did Kang Yoo-hyun’s house become a lodging full of S-class hunters?
As soon as I looked towards Park Yoon-sung, I immediately met his eyes. He gave me a refreshing smile even after catching sight of my glaring eyes. But I’m not going to be fooled anymore. You devil!
“You can stay here from today on.”
“Here? Isn’t this Kang Yoo-hyun’s house?”
“That’s right, but starting today, it will be shared accommodation for Hunter Han Yi-jin and the other hunters.”
“No, I mean…”
When I opened my mouth in response to his nonsensical words, I felt a chilly stare lock onto me from somewhere. Kang Yoo-hyun looked at Park Yoon-sung with bloody eyes. Come to think of it, this was Kang Yoo-hyun’s house. Naturally, he wouldn’t like it if people gathered in the place where he lived alone.
In addition, Kang Yoo-hyun really didn’t like having other people in the same room while he was sleeping because of his experience and suffering inside the gate. Such a Kang Yoo-hyun could not have agreed to this crazy act. I gave him a supportive look.
“I think I told you before. Guildmaster, Park Yoon-sung.”
“…!”
Yeah, good job. Come on, tell him you won’t accept shared accommodation. Kick me out, come on!
“I alone am enough to protect Han Yi-jin.”
“…Huh?”
“So please kick all the other guys out.”
“No, um…”
What about me? Why don’t you kick me out? Can’t you just let me live comfortably in a single room? Hm?
However, contrary to my wishes, the bloody conversation between Park Yoon-sung and Kang Yoo-hyun continued.
“I can’t do that, Hunter Kang Yoo-hyun.”
“Why?”
“It might be fine for now, but we don’t know how other countries will behave when we resolve the dungeon rating anomaly. I remember saying that even Kang Yoo-hyun’s ability alone is not enough.”
“…”
“Apart from the domestic guilds, I don’t know what kind of ability holders the foreign powers are hiding. They may have unfathomable skills. Do you think you can handle it on your own if they target Hunter Han Yi-jin?”

- The proverb is actually used to reflect the consequences of a woman’s hatred. When she reached an extreme situation, the anger that had accumulated thus far exploded, so the outcome of her revenge seemed terrifying enough to cause frostbite even in the hot summer of May. Overall, the meaning of this proverb is that once a woman gets angry, something unimaginable can happen and cause great damage.
