Chapter 233: 233:Superhumans All Around
"What about the other countries? Do you know about them?"
[There's limited information about it online, but some data has been collected from the Indra Army. I can't be sure of its accuracy, though.]
"Aurora, display the data on superhumans across major world countries," Evan requested, crossing his arms, he waited for the information.
[Certainly, Sir,] Aurora responded. The holographic interface flickered to life and shifted, revealing a detailed world map with highlighted regions. As the data appeared, Evan leaned closer toward the screen, taking in the information.

As the numbers filled the screen, Evan felt a sense of urgency growing. "This is a significant advantage," he remarked, impressed by the sheer number of superhumans spread across the globe. "We need to leverage these strengths for our initiatives."
[Indeed,] Aurora agreed.
[The data indicates that while USL, USR and Daxia have the highest concentrations of superhumans, several nations within the EUA and Hanryu show emerging capabilities that could be strategically influential.]
Evan straightened up, formulating a plan in his mind. "Let's focus on building alliances with countries that have strong superhuman bases, particularly those in the EUA and Asia. Doing so, we can consolidate our forces and enhance our global operations."
[Shall I begin outreach to key contacts in these regions?] Aurora asked, her holographic interface ready to execute his commands.
"Yes, initiate an operation where our agents hide their way into other countries and have our people start snooping and converting them to our sides."
A sharp grin crossed Evan's face. "Such a big piece of meat… we should definitely take a bite."
[You are right, Sir. Any further orders?]
"Yes, set The Bermuda Spectrum in motion. Also, start dumping the shares. Dump everything now and we don't need to cover up."
Evan crossed his legs and stared blankly at the screen.
"Let them see and know who is behind this. After all, the show from the 3rd June is going to tilt the balance of power in the world."

Meanwhile, Suri fluidly moved her body in the home gym, her amber hair swaying and cascading down her neck as she worked through her routine.
Dressed in a sleek black sports bra and high-waisted leggings that perfectly hugged her curves, she exuded strength and confidence. The fabric accentuated her toned midsection, a testament to her hard work and discipline.
Each motion showcased the graceful power of her physique, her skin glistening with a light sheen of sweat.
As she performed a series of crunches, a soft melody escaped her lips, its notes blending seamlessly with the rhythm of her exercise. The song was one of her favorites, one that inspired her to push herself to her limits.
Just as she was about to transition into a set of planks, her phone chimed, interrupting her concentration.
Curious, she paused to catch her breath and grabbed her phone. Swiping it open, a message from Evan popped up on the screen, making her heart skip a beat.
Before she could read it, a soft, girlish voice interrupted her thoughts.
[Hello!]
"Who are you?" Suri's gaze narrowed sharply at the unexpected sound.
[Ma'am, don't be worried. From today, I will be your personal AI assistant,] the voice replied smoothly.
"An AI assistant like Aurora?" Suri muttered, intrigued but still a bit wary.
[Yes, Miss.]
"Do you have a name?" Suri inquired, trying to wrap her head around this new presence.
[My name is Ava…]
"That's a nice name," Suri smiled, appreciating Ava's friendly tone.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Ava began to relay the recent developments concerning Evan.
[Sir Evan has become a superhuman.]
An expression of shock washed over Suri's face as she almost blurted, "What! Superman? Does he know the side effects?"
[Don't worry, Miss Suri. There are no side effects from the serum Sir Evan has used. The team developed a perfected higher version of the serum—one that can even be inherited.]
Suri's eyes widened in disbelief. "A perfected superhuman serum…"
The history of the serum flooded her mind…
The experiments that began in the early 1900s and their profound impact during World War II. Back then, the serum came with a great number of side effects, the most significant ones being a drastic reduction in the lifespan of those who underwent the transformation, often leaving them with only a few years to live post-enhancement.
The later versions were slightly better and didn't have as much of a drastic effect on lifespan, nonetheless, the side effects still lingered.
This time, infertility and impotence were common. In fact, even women weren't spared, with their reproductive organs along with secondary organs beginning to degenerate, leaving them unable to experience bodily pleasures.
Suri had been lucky to not suffer such side effects, but if such a thing happened to Evan, didn't that mean her future life had gone to shit. The mere thought sent a wave of dread through her.
However, the idea that Evan now had access to a perfected version left her stunned.
Still, she couldn't shake the unease that was settling in her stomach. "Are you sure? The negative effects have persisted for decades…"
[Yes, Miss Suri. But Sir Evan's team have managed to eliminate those drawbacks. He is safe. What you fear won't occur.]
Suri found herself speechless, torn between shock and awe after learning this.
This was an entirely different department compared to Evan's usual work, and it made her wonder about the changes he must have gone through.
As Suri wiped the sweat from her brows and reached out to her phone again, Ava's voice chimed in once more, interrupting her thoughts.
[Miss Suri, I have an important update regarding your financial assets. It is advised to liquidate all shares and withdraw any of your funds from the stock market immediately.]
Suri raised her brows and glanced at her phone, her curiosity piqued. "Why? Is there a big opportunity coming up?"
[Much more than that,] Ava replied, her tone urgent yet calm. [Sir Evan is planning to thwart everything. It's imperative to secure your assets now before the situation escalates.]
Suri's heart raced as she processed the information. "Thwart down everything? What does that mean?"
[There are strategic movements happening globally that could significantly impact financial markets. Sir Evan anticipates a major upheaval, and it is in your best interest to have liquidated assets at your disposal.]
Suri felt a mix of excitement and anxiety wash over her. "So, you're saying he's planning something big? Something that could shake the foundation of the market for a few days."
[Yes, Miss Suri. It would be wise to hoard as much liquid money as possible. The forthcoming actions will require swift financial maneuvers, and maintaining liquidity will provide you with the leverage needed to act decisively."
Suri nodded, understanding the urgency. "Okay, Ava. I'll get started on this right away. I need to make sure that all my accounts are cleared and funds are transferred."
[Excellent choice, Miss Suri. I will guide you through the process step-by-step. That's the reason I am here. Even though it is a holiday, I can secure the funds with Mother Aurora's assistance and move them without anyone noticing.]
Suri's expression changed and a flicker of warmth flashed on her face as she thought of Evan.
"Next time I see him, I must be sure to thank him well."
